Most unique and enticing book ive read in awhile. If you like d & d you'll love this. Only other book that comes close to this is the cradle series by will wight as the characters also have a "essence" kind of progression.

It’s very different than anything I’ve ever read before. The plot is quick and entertaining. There is a lot of discovery about the rules of this world and a natural progression system that punishes cheaters. Please keep writing Dakota Krout!

Although the text version is harder to read than I expected, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author is a methodic world and story builder.
Loved the segmenation fault on the rituals. Also loved the myth of creation of mosquitos, damn amazing.
I wander if there will be a debugger introduced.

Really enjoyed how the story ties in with myths. Continuity and following its own rules is also enjoyable. However I felt there was a little bit of Deus ex Machina with the really powerful magic users.

Different writing? Check. Different story line? Check. Fictional history knowledge? Check. I love the concept and design of these novels. I would delve into any book written by this author. It's given me a new perspective on fantasy.

Wonderful series, I wish it didn’t have to end! You’ve taken some of the best parts of paper gaming and created a new twist on how the world works. I could see this playing out in a mmog as well. A great read!

Incredible, great third part to an awesome story. Well written and VERY enjoyable. Also, I really appreciate how clean it is, which can be difficult to find in this genre. THANK YOU for an awesome series so far and can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Mr. Krout's best book yet. Sentient dungeon and courageous characters meet demon lord's and necromancers. Throw in a plot twist on top of a time paradox! BOOM! Best seller. Keep em coming Dakota! Running low on essence here.

I normally stick to audio books, however this is one series I couldn't wait and read the book in a day. It is a perfect mix of fantasy and humor. With a plot nearly impossible to guess. I can't wait for the next one.
