I have to be honest, this book was painful to read. There was such an OVERWHELMING amount of typos, grammatical mistakes, and editing gaffes, that I don't know where to begin to detail them all.

This book read like a rough draft. Clearly, the author's beta team, editors, and proofreaders let her down in a very big way. Yes, I know that no book out there is perfect, no manuscript is without error. However, I highlighted 65+ mistakes in this book. And I have NO copy editing or proofreading training, so imagine how many there really were!

Mistakes of this magnitude greatly affect my enjoyment of a book because I am constantly pulled out of the narrative to try and decipher exactly what the author was trying to convey, and I'm not always successful because the writing is just so confusing.

The only redeeming quality of this book for me was a mildly interesting storyline, and even that started to fall apart towards the end of the novel. If I were asked for advice, I would suggest clearing out your pre-publication team (because they have done you no favors) and bring people on board who are knowledgeable, experienced, and helpfully critical.

As always, I have notes & screen caps if confirmation if desired. (Spoiler alert: It never is **shrug**)

3.7 for me, there were moments I was pulled in so deep I couldn’t get enough and then others where I felt my attention was being lost. Aspen has had her fair share of heartache as well as Anderson dealing with his own more in the present time. We’re given an emotionally charged romance here with a few twists and turns throughout. In the end I’m happy I completed this story and I will be looking into more from this author.

I cannot tell you how many tears I shed while I read this book!! I fell in love with this story from the first sentence! Could not, and did not want, to put this one down for even a second! Superbly written!!
Perfectly done! Congratulations, Claudia Burgoa!

This book was touching and so emotional she lost her first love of her life and later on her father that she was close to she dedicated her life to become a great doctor and help people for them not to go threw what she did with her first love . She close herself off for many hears worked he ass off to numb her hurt but she also lost herself in really living this book shows there's more then being numb and to live life because life continues on moving with us or with out us so let's enjoy life like it's our last

4 "falling" stars

Babes, y'all are gonna need tissues for this one! Get ready for all the feels. Tearjerker, emotional, heavy read but oh sooo good. It's a slow paced story but goes well with the story and characters. Well developed story and characters. Heartbreaking story with a HEA.

First book by this author and looking forward to more.

I loved this book! From the very beginning of the story you are pulled in and can't turn away. I liked the evolving relationships and the emotional moments between the main characters. The pace of the book moves along quite nicely and has a good satisfying ending with plenty of action and laugh out loud moments! All of these elements make it a 5 star read for me!

This was just an okay read for me. There wasn't anything wrong with the writing style or anything. The pacing of the story just moved really slow for my taste and I found myself struggling to stay connected with the story and the characters.

3.5 Solid Stars.

Anderson and Aspen, two people of have experienced loss find each other when they need it the most. I loved Anderson, he had just enough mystery and "alpha-ness" about him and yet he was in-tuned to Aspen and knew what she needed. I enjoyed the secondary characters and am looking forward to reading more about them.

Amazing! This book pulled at my heartstrings! I absolutely love the characters, the story, all of it. It is so hard to watch someone go through losing a loved one and Burgoa writes it beautifully! I absolutely love this author!

Until I Fall is a beautiful, emotional story. The story captivated me from start to finish. The story flowed well and was descriptive. I liked the characters Aspen and Anderson and how their story progressed from just friends to falling in love. I liked the secondary characters too. It will pull at your heart strings. This is a great read!!

This book covers a lot of emotions. It's about loss, fear, love and strength. Aspen and Anderson, both go through so much, it's was lovely to see their connection build and become strong. I'm hoping we get more of the whole group though, because the friendship bonds were lovely to see also, that way we may see more of these two unfolding still.

This book confused me a little. Although, I was drawn in and curious to see what would happen next, I found it to be very deep. There were times when I wasn't sure what was happening, but it was explained later in the book. The characters are compelling and the plot twist and turns. It made me cry in places and laugh in others. I love the bond between the 3 girls. The men are strong and heroic. If you like a deep, thought provoking book, this is the one to read.

This was my first book from this author and I have to say she didn't disappoint.

Anderson and Aspen have both suffered loss and are afraid of letting go. There's mystery, action, and love. Claudia does an awesome job with the plot and story line and keeps you wanting more. Couldn't put it down. Hope this turns into a series..

What an amazing story! This book had me from beginning to end. I felt every emotion that every character felt throughout the entire story. I had tears streaming down my face more than once, it felt so real. Aspen and Anderson....I love them both, and Hugo the dog. All of the characters were strong and written so well. I want more!

Maybe it's just me, but I just couldn't really connect to the story or characters of this book. I felt like a lot of the dialogue didn't really flow well and could be confusing. Also a lot didn't feel really natural and it felt like the main characters' emotions sometimes didn't really feel authentic, like their feelings sometimes just felt written for the story to be what you'd expect, rather than truly believing in the characters and their feelings. It seems like others really liked this story but it just didn't do it for me.

The story was great. The idea behind the story was great. The character development was great. The reason for only three stars was that the editing on this book is horrible. At least once a chapter, I had to reread sentences to figure out what it was supposed to say. There were a lot of missed words (he instead of she, wrong names, etc). If the editing was done better - this book would have five stars.

I really enjoyed this story about a soft-hearted ER doctor and a tough lonely Security man. The characters were very well written and there was just the right amount of romance, suspense and drama. I've always liked medical romances, since I am a nurse and this is one of the better ones I've read in a long time. Overall, a great book with a happy ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first to read this book & I loved it! Claudia is such a talented author! I love the unexpected series & when I seen she was writing a new book I just had to have it! Her characters and the way she writes is unlike any other author. Must read!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters seemed real and I definitely understand their hesitancy to open up their hearts. Some events in your life are almost insurmountable. Aspen lost her fiance to a tragic accident. For ten years, she has guarded her heart from love. A chance meeting with Anderson, has the potential to grow into a wonderful relationship, if she will just let it happen!

OMG, where to begin? This book begins with a rip-roaring emotional start and then just holds you in place the entire time. I Love Ms. Burgoa's writing. I LOVE her easy, realistic dialogue and I LOVE the emotions she pulls out of her characters! Must read. 5 stars!

I found it very difficult to post a review of Until I Fall without giving too much. I loved so much this book!! This story will pull at your heartstrings. Aspen and Anderson had both their share of a hard time in their lives. And they're both given a second chance at love but they must face their fears if they want to be together. Claudia Burgoa did a great job telling this raw, heartbreaking and beautiful story of love and loss. I totally recommend this book to anyone, with a box of tissues in hand!

This book grabbed me from the very beginning and I didn't want it to end. Claudia pens a book that really makes you want to savor each word. To my great surprise we got some of the Decker family in this book, in the form of Arthur Bradley and Mason Bradley, it kinda like catching up with an old friend. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.

Oh my gosh! Those first chapters hit me hard, and then it just kept getting better. Despite all my efforts, I couldn't keep myself from loving the story and the characters. Kidding, I knew I would love it and I knew I would want to absorb it slowly and not devour it in a day. This is a book that deserves your full attention. ❤

Fantastic book of finding love when you aren't looking for it. The pain of losing your loved one and thinking you will never recover and the joy when you find your second chance. A beautiful book, wonderful read.

This book was great from start to finish, Aspen and Michael's story felt so real I cried so hard while reading abut them. Oh. Where to start?
Loved it from the first paragraph.
You will need a box of Kleenex and time to devour the entire book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I hope there will be more books with these characters. Amazing story line. The banter and harmony between the characters is outstanding.

Aspen and Anderson certainly take you on a journey of highs and lows, and their second chance at romance is simply lovely. Grab your copy, a coffee, and a corner where people will leave you to read in peace. You won't want to put this one down!

It was a little different than what I usually read but I enjoyed it. There were a few slow parts, but it all contributed to the story. I felt like Aspen's character was developed so well. Her reactions seemed so realistic I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Anderson was so patient and loving! The chemistry they had from the beginning was cute but funny at the same time.
