This installment didn't read as quickly as the others. But there was a lot to tell, to explain in regards to the battle prophesied. I knew Elasaid would be the third queen, didn't think Aed would show such loyalty to finding it was supposed to be Finn. I was a little surprised of Finn's choice, but glad to see her grow some balls and actually make it. Now let's get on with this fight of the three queens.

The first three books were fantastic- except for the plethora of grammatical and spelling errors.. please get better editors. They had a solid interconnected story lines and wonderful character development. This book does not have that- it almost seems as though the initial plan was thrown out simply to elongate the series. That or the initial end goal is the same but the author threw a bunch of fillers together. This book was incredibly disappointing and seemed discombobulated. It seems as though there is no path to a conclusion only fluff intended to create/sell more books. Another example, perhaps, of an author selling out the original idea and passion for the story to please publishers and make more books/money as it seems like there may be one/two... twenty more. If the rest are like this one- they won’t hold the interest of many. I am really sad- it was great and I was invested in Finn and crew and now...

This is a must read series. Epic adventure. Both Finn and Elasaid are sweet innocent heroes that draw others to them and change many. Great world building with numerous creatures and lands as well as dark characters and hidden motives. Bravely fought battles. Refreshing clean read.
The Ciphers of Muirwood (Covenant of Muirwood Book 2) :: The Hollow Crown (Kingfountain) :: Poisonwell (Whispers from Mirrowen Book 3) :: (a Kingfountain prequel) (Kingfountain Series) - The Poisoner's Enemy :: The Maid's War (a Kingfountain prequel) (The Kingfountain Series)

Things are moving in directions I did not expect. While this is all very exciting and interesting; I am a little disappointed in some of the choices being made by certain characters. When I start talking to my kindle (or yelling) I know I have become invested in the story. There was a lot of that during this last book.

Okay. This author is gifted at cliffhangers! Everything was winding up so sweet. I was wondering, "What's up with all this coziness?"
Then turn the page and POW! there it was. What the heck is going to happen next? 3 Queens and so many others yet to reveal their potential. Gimme more...

The characters are what keeps you returning for more. The characters are your friends with real emotions and problems. The story is interesting, not one excitement after another, but enough to keep you wondering about the different characters and their next adventure. I recommend for all lovers of fantasy and magic.

The tension builds as Finn begins to realize her destiny and her past. The story grows more complex and it’s hard to tell who is a fried and who is a foe! Very interesting story and the end is not here as yet.

I almost hate this author now for making these books so intriguing. I spent hours reading these books lol. I can't believe this hasn't been adapted into a movie yet. These characters keep developing and I am always eager to learn more...

Such good characters but different from most magical stories. An ,my woven story. This author wields a yarn. Makes me wonder if it is yet finished. Seems more is yet to be told. But this will hold your attention.

I started this series on whim and halfway through the first book was completely enthralled! So many twists and turns and allegiances forged and trusts broken; but at the center a girl who was once a tree with a pure heart. Surrounded by friends who were once enemies (or were they?), Finn leads the reader on a path to her destiny.

Can't wait for the next one!!

This seemed a slower read than the previous books in the series as the main characters have branched out and developed a following and storyline of their own. I look forward to the series drawing together soon, but enjoyed the tale.

This series is good enough. Interesting plot, characters are okay. But there is one thing that is extremely irking about this book, and that's the smirking. Every character, every reaction is a smirk. I was the author would find some other facial expressions for her characters. Maybe a sly grin, or a look of disdain. A snarl. I swear it seems like that word is on every page.

I'm loving every minute reading this series! I finished this book in less than 48 hours!!!!! The character development is so progressive you can't help but be surprised when the least likeable character becomes your favorite! Well written and witty, it's become my latest obsession!

Oh my God the storyline is amazing, it's captivating. All of the characters have their own uniqueness. It's like you really know each one of them. Watching Finn become something greater as she holds on to her "innocence" is breathtaking. A page Turner for sure.
