I like the pace of the book. Very believable characters and little overdone language. Mark is smart but not full of himself. Just typical middle aged man that just happens to be a private investigator

Always enjoy following alone with Mark Kane as he follows up on the next lead. Sometimes you can guess his next move, however, most of the time you can't. This adds to the entireg and mystery. The author brings you along as though you are part of the investigation.

I am loving this series of books. Very good ! The writing style reminds me a bit of that of Lee Childs. Captivating, intriguing mysteries. Love Kane and Lucy and their relationship! I reserve five star ratings for books where extensive research was required, otherwise this would be a five.
Mary Magdalen and the Holy Grail - The Woman with the Alabaster Jar :: Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King (2011-08-04) :: The Secret to Freedom and Success by Napoleon Hill (7-Nov-2014) Paperback :: The Law of Success :: All Eyes on Me (A Miranda and Parker Mystery Book 1)

After reading book 1 in this series, I was prepared to be let down by a less than equally interesting book 2. However, that was not the case. Book 2 was just as interesting as my previous experience. The book moves at a good pace and never bogs down or becomes tedious with detail that adds little to the story-line.I would recommend this book to others who need a light-reading diversion.

This is not a mystery written for Christian readers--unless you don't object to reading God's name taken in vain and other foul words. The author is obviously talented. It is a shame, but I was only able to read a small portion. Had to quit at the first place where God was disrespected.

I usually like most of the Kane mysteries, but not this one. The foul language & taking God's name in vain turned me off. I know there are real people out there that take God's name in vain, but I don't have to be around them & I don't have to read about them.
