Since coming across the first book on a freebie list several months ago, I have purchased each of the other four books, and devoured them all ! If you're a fan of survivor stories, this is a great one. Angela really knows how to put the reader into the moments and allows for the reader's imagination to free-style throughout. She takes the time for character development and knows how to make you love some, and hate others, while allowing her characters to change your mind about them later on! This is a series I'd LOVE to see on Television!

Can't wait for the next installment. White does a good job of world building. I liked the culture she created for both the good guys and the bad guys. there is also just a hint of paranormal in almost every character. Of course the main characters are loaded with exotic magical abilities.

Another thrilling chapter in the saga of the survivors. Angela White has created a chilling look at what America might be like after an apocalyptic event. This installment furthers Safe Haven's struggle to both survive and grow, replete with nail biting tension and great character development. I can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens next.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. Holy cow, Angela White has such a way with words. I love her characters and I feel like this story just develops as she writes which is something I love about a good book. It feels like she lets the characters and plot develop organically instead of forcing it a certain way.

Please, please keep writing and release the next book quickly!!!

Also check out her other books, equally as well written and I love how the Bachelor Battles and this series integrate. Such a well rounded author.

As with the previous four books, the characters and the story continue to captivate. I find myself being drawn deeper and deeper into the world that Angela has created. It has been a VERY long time since have been so involved in novel/series.

This book and really the entire series is very captivating. At times I can't wait to get home from work to pickup my kindle and start reading from where I left off. I really love to read about post apocalyptic survival and this series captures it in my opinion well, though there are some thing that might not be accounted for, however as a SiFi, it don't really mater as much. I will say that I was on the fence when I started reading this series as to how the magic would play out, I'm to captivated now that I actually like the idea of the magic now.

This is part of a series that has me electrified. The many threads, a plethora of characters that I care about, the unusual new world, clues that are leading me somewhere, details that are warm are details that horrify ... I could go on. This author has become one of my favorites and I will purchase anything she writes.,

I am waiting with baited breath for the next book in this series. I have read and read, for hours, with the time flying by. I have laughed and cried, and LOVED every minute of reading each of the books. HURRY please Ms. White. I HAVE to know what's going on with all of your amazing characters!

I really love this series. It is very well written and I have trouble going to bed while reading this because I read well past my bedtime. I give this 6 stars. This book has great depth and requires that one follows the cast of characters all the time.

While the editing could use some work the series as a whole is well written and left me with the urge to stock up on nonperishable food items. I can't wait for the next book to be released. I have been pulled into the world of LAW.

As many other reviewers have written, I like the story and details so have continued with the series despite grammar & editing issues. In this book however, the transitions were harder to follow than in the previous books. Maybe the writing of this was rushed? But new sections that begin without location & character identification should be avoided.

Great story line overall, however, this book to me was very disjointed. At times the storyline is so vague I have no idea what the characters are talking about or alluding to. I like the series overall, just feel like this book needed better editing.

The story line is great. Each book gets better and better but this one missed having one of the previous characters in it at all. What's happening with "her"? Great characters. Can't wait for next volume

Have read books 1-5 and am fascinated with characters. Series shows that good can prevail under earth shattering circumstances. The hints of magic are coming out more as the series progresses. Don't want the series to end.

Angela White has such a great imagination and I love the Safe Haven series! Each time I finish one of the books, I feel a sense of loss because I need to know what happens next! Keep up the great work! One day I hope someone decides to make these books into movies.

Please start proofing your books Angela White!!!!! Misspelled words, incomplete sentences...as the reader I don't want to have to stop and figure out what you are trying to say, if I wasn't addicted to the storyline i would have stopped reading during the first book.

Loved it, Characters are true to life and their stories intertwine in a very creative and interesting way. I can't wait for more books on, "Life After War." I read the books a while ago and still think about the characters and their stories.
