This is my favorite book in the series. Another reviewer said that the series is even more addictive than the Harry Potter series, I couldn't agree more. I loved everything about it, my only problem was that Scott finished where he did. I mean I like the surprise and all when, sorry I can't say who shows up, all I can say is that it is the biggest surprise of the series, so it should have been saved for the last book's begining. That's my opinion. But otherwise I loved it. Scott really makes you think about how perspective can define right and wrong in others eyes. He also makes you care about characters like Macciavelli and Billy. If he can make you care about all the characters that's the sign of a good author. And Dee's desent into madness makes you hopeful there arn't real people as crazy as him. He's almost as bad as Drake in the Gone series, another great series you have to read. When you find out how old Aunt Agnes really is your eyes will near about pop out of your head. And if you want to know what the surprise at the end is you'll have to read it from cover to cover. Cause if you are anything like me that's the only way you can read it. Ha Ha.

I stumbled upon this book series by accident and now the whole family is addicted. This story is one that you cannot put down and will leave you wanted to complete the story of Sophie and Josh Newman. With amazing twists and turns, the story is interlaced with historical figures, familiar sceneries, and shows the authors understanding of the historical characters in this book. Amazing story would recommend as a book for the whole family from 4th grade and up. But really everyone loves this series in my family and it leads to great book talks.
Enjoy!

Very great read and it supports the story extremely well. Unlike the dry and often pointless filler that made up "The Necromancer", The Warlock comes up hot. It never misses a beat and keeps you turning till the end!
A Book of Underrealm (The Academy Journals 1) - The Alchemist's Touch :: The Sorceress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel) :: The Neutronium Alchemist (The Night's Dawn) :: Alchemist Academy: Book 1 :: The Necromancer (Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel)

I have been following this series and I like Michael Scott's work. If you havent read the series, you must. It is very well written and a really smooth flowing story which does not read too twisty. My only gripe is that the stories are really short and then they don't come out for another 15 months or so! I just like epic stories...this is one of them but not long enough for each book. These could have been rolled up into half the number of books....too much commercial interest?

Another fantastic book in this series. Another page turner. If you like mythology and fantasy you will love this series.

"

"The Warlock" I ordered from the store(which is where I order almost everything I can) is another excellent fantasy with mythology gods and goddess and just about every kind of life forces out there, so well written you just can't put it down until the end. Excellent series. I recommend this series very highly.

WoW you are simply amazing! I love the story, the details and all of the characters. I didn't see that ending coming, and that's what makes it great the suspense. I'm looking forward to starting the next book. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!

Violent yet literate; historically aware yet full of traditional western stereotypes; a relatively easy read yet profoundly insightful on many issues that remain important to us to this day.

The novel was originally published in 1958, and Hollywood immediately made a
film of this Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece in 1959 starring Dick Widmark and Anthony Quinn and Henry Fonda.

Just great! Go to the store and get it either on paper or for your Kindle. Thomas Pynchon and Cormac McCarthy loved it ... so will you!

Great book, holds true with the series and the twists keep getting twistier, however, as the series stretches on, it's getting frusterating leaving each chapter on a cliffhanger and switching back to another scene/era/place etc....

I enjoyed it and the next one too....

This book is the most recent in the immortal Nicholas Flamel series & I personally think they just keep getting better & better. I read this book within a few days of receiving it as I just could not put it down. With all the old favourite characters & a few new unexpected ones this book will keep you wanting more & more. I can't wait until the final book comes out, hurry up 2012.

good book, worth buying. the plot was easy to follow, and the characters personalities were better defined. it's easy to keep reading, wanting to see what's happening next, just to find out that when you get to the interesting part... you have to wait for the next book in the series to find out what happens. hope you enjoy the book!
