Rudy Guede and the Murder of Meredith Kercher (Kindle Single)

This book is crystal clear about Guede's guilt and Amanda and Rafaelle's innocence. It is shocking that 7 years later the guilters are still talking about bleach clean-ups and Amanda turning off her phone and think she is guilty. Common sense alone screams her innocence but all the evidence supports it. I honestly never knew there were so many clueless and gullible people in this world or so much evil in the media until this case came about.

Reading this book, I finally discovered many facts, people and analysis about the murder of Meredith. I found out the absurdity of the prosecution evidence, an absurdity which often results in the ignorance of the most elementary laws of physics, such as the entropy, ie, according to the indictment it is possible to selectively remove their own DNA while leaving only one and the victim of the alleged murderess! I have found that the prosecution has literally forgotten who was the murderess, who had also confessed to killing Meredith alone, writing in a chat on Skype, during the escape to Germany.
I have found that the murderess had been arrested only a few days in Milan and then released at the request of the police in Perugia, this makes one suspect that the murderess was also a police informant !
I then read that suffered a 20 year old girl was subjected to 43 hours of questioning done by at least a dozen police officers who do not speak his language, by striking and threatening her , not only that, but did not allow the girl to eat, drink and go to the bathroom . This interrogation methods is called torture , a practice forbidden by our laws !
It is also a book to read for anyone who wants to understand how to conduct a murder investigation and the criteria for obtaining a logical analysis of the facts. It explains how many misconceptions and false things you can read in the newspapers. Demonstrate, with a few, but essential examples , as it is easy to write or tell falsehoods by the media when they try to sell the paper and not to give a real accurate information.

When our justice system seems broken just read how good we have it compared to the Italians.

This is a sad case made worse by a the prosecutor with a need for seeing himself in print and on TV.

In Italy you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.

This nonfiction book is a page-turner. The combination of science, experts and insights is straight forward and shocking! The book read's like a detective novel and gives a crystal clear picture of Amanda's innocence and what really happened to Meredith Kercher.

The book loses all credibility within the first few pages with the claim that Rudy Guede was 7 years old when he moved to Perugia. (he was 5) If the authors can't even get such a rudimentary fact right, how can anything else be trusted? There may well be merit to some of the arguments put forth, but it's impossible to know. The book, just like the crime scene, is contaminated from the start.

That is silly. Even the courts ruled that Rudy Guede committed this murder in concert with others. The other two paid big money for the illegal "not guilty" verdict.
I gave the book one star because it is a fairy tale.

Bias and a willingness to ignore the facts and evidence in the case. This is a PR con job on behalf of Knox. When is it advisable to ask a defendant found guilty and convicted of murder about the facts around and the evidence of their crime.

This is racist and xenophobic fiction masquerading as true crime. The author should stick to fiction, he has no ability whatsoever to assemble facts and employ cold reason. It's very disturbing in this day and age for the black man to be nailed as the sole perpetrator, when two drugged white kids have only just been convicted as accomplices by Italian justice. Shame on you Preston,

What did the true victim, Meredith Kercher, ever do to Douglas Preston and John Douglas that they should have written this pro-Knox propaganda book that is so disrespectful of her right to justice and which seeks to excuse the heinous crimes committed by Amanda Knox?

Guede has not been forgotten for what he did. That is why he is in prison-- albeit regrettably for a much shorter term than most people would want. Multiple sets of judges found that he did not act alone and that Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are also guilty.

This is one of the best written and definitely credible book that I have read about the subject. I wish it had come out earlier as I think it would have had a much better impact at the beginning of this latest witch hunt. The authors focus on the evidence(or lack of it) instead of the usual biased and nasty character assassinations and pure gossip. The Kercher family say they need answers (fair enough when you have been surrounded by people that have lied and manipulated constantly), well here is their chance!! There is no better book.
