Life Expectancy

The author has an enchanting style. The story doesn't move around a fixed plot, it is rather based on the characters and moves fluently while expressing the interesting characters build by the author... All in all, an absorbing tale, and not without a strong message!

Surprisingly witty and suspenseful! I would never have picked this up without the recommendation of a friend, and it hasn't let me down. Great book! I recommend it if you want to take a ride on the wild side...

I have reread this book several times and loved it every time. In pure Koontz style, it has you laughing while you are biting your nails and has enough twists to keep you interested without making you dizzy.

Most interesting story line. I love it when Koontz uses his humor. This was recommended to me by a friend who said it was Koontz's best. I enjoyed it but not sure about the best part. My favorite was "Lightning".

Some of the most incredible characters I have ever read about. The weaving between character and plot is superbly orchestrated as few books have. To me, Mr. Koontz best book. Odd Thomas is a close second.

Full of the suspense we all have come to appreciate and expect of Koontz this book is special because of the characters. Full of optimism and a joy of life that is infectious despite the horrific situations in which they find themselves, I found these characters to be especially endearing. More of a mystery than a horror novel, quite scary on places, but really funny in others - I loved this book!

I really enjoyed this story. Liked the twists and turns. And Liked the way he made me care about the characters. I even cried at one point. For me it got too wordy with the philosophy of others,esp the first half of the book. Over I looked this book and recommend you read it.

Another great book by Dean Koontz. This one was a wonderful story of a family being made through all of the most extreme events imaginable. Wonderfully written with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
