I found myself skipping over the dialogue because it was so ridiculous. Cringe worthy flirting....just...yuck. The dialogue ruined the book for me. There was no buildup that showed Clay and Cami as friends so I never got their relationship. He seemed creepy right from the beginning. And Cami was incredibly naive. I felt like smacking her upside the head a few times.

I found this book to be overall mildly entertaining. It was kind of predictable and boring. I didn't feel drawn into the characters at all. The main relationship felt forced and i never really felt myself rooting for them to be together. I know that there is a sequel and I definetly won't be purchasing it because it just didn't leave me wanting to know what happens next.

Great beginning to the series. Cami is a gorgeous girl who doesn't really care what people think of her. Hunter is a hot guy who plays the bad boy persona perfectly. Cami's BFF Clay is in love with her but she doesn't feel the same way as him. For a YA this is pretty steamy, but still OK for older teens.

A fun read. This book was about the aquward position of having your best friend love you. What do you do when you don't love him back. Well atleast not the same way. Im mean he's like your brother. Want to do what to do! Throw in a twist and a kiss and you've got this book.

The book started off a little slow, I thought 'oh no, another teen romance where the good girl falls for the bad boy'. As the book progressed, I was pleasantly surprised to find suspense, a few surprises and an ending I could never have predicted. I enjoyed the book, I recommend.

all I have to say is WOW!!!!! Lacey Weatherford did it again. Her books are never boring she has a way with taking her readers on a journey you never want to end and when it does she leaves you wanting more. I highly rec amend this book and can't wait for the second book in this series (Smitten) to come out.

Cami is a goody smart girl in high school. Hunter is the dangerous bad boy. These two get together and things are not what they seem. I was total taken by surprise when I started to read this book and was so shocked with the ending, I started the second book right away

Initially, I was reluctant to read the book because the heroine was still in high school and YA is not really my thing. But it was recommended by a friend so I was like, why not?! Oh boy, am I glad that I took a chance with Crush! It has romance, action, mystery, and so much more. Hunter (or Dylan) was so swoon-worthy and Cami was a strong (albeit naive at times..) and feisty heroine! I definitely recommend this book!

Wow Hunter...
Cami and Hunter are adorable. Too bad Cami is oblivious to her surroundings and does not realize that danger is right in front of her.

I LOVED THIS BOOK
Cannot wait for book, 2!

Cami, oh Cami.

The pretty readhead girl. She's such a goody goody. A nerd. She has her BFF, Clay and her singing. She doesn't need anything else. She's happy being her.

At the Winter Formal, she had a traumatic experience. The star football player fell on her gasping for air and foaming at the mouth. How dare the druggie ask her for help, then fall and die. That event scarred her, she couldn't help him. Heck she had no clue he was using!

A few months later a very handsome young man moves to town and they have almost every class together. Word got around that he was a player and a user. She didn't not need to associate with people like Hunter. But, it got a bit difficult to not interact with him when all he wanted was to get to know her better. She was beautiful. He kept telling himself to back off and walk away. Do not engage the beauty from school.

Easier said than done. When Cami's best friend reveals his true intentions with Cami, she gets scared. Hunter notices her discomfort at the movies and moves in and asked her out. He got a yes to a date and an enemy in her BFF, Clay.

As time goes by, Cami and Hunter get closer their feelings are revealed. In the mean time Clay is fighting for Cami's attention and trying to win her over, while making Hunter suspicious. All the while drugs are being made and sold to kids on campus. Heck Hunter is one of the users and Cami wants him to stop. Hunter's friend almost O.D.'d while he was visiting Cami and Hunter at work.

Cami has doubts of Hunter. He doesn't seem to be honest and she wonders what he is hiding. He tells her that he will confide in her in time. She loves him so much that she is patient. The entire time Hunter is trying to keep a secret life and trying not to cross a line with Cami.

Eventually, the story unfolds and everyone's secrets are revealed. Will these secrets tear Cami and Hunter apart? What will become Clay and Cami's friendship? Will Cami be able to save Hunter?

This book had me reading and wanting to solve the mystery and honestly it did not disappoint. I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.

This story was so freaking predictable with the too many detailed "hints" as to what the "secret" was that Hunter was hiding. Also Hunter's thoughts were those more of a woman than that of a man/male so yeah that was a fail. Clay also was acting more so like a chick than a guy. Overall I thought this book was just OK but nothing more than OK. Due to details starting to be revealed too fricking soon and with the too obvious hints. I mean I knew what the ending was going to be and who did what by the time Hunter and Cami were done taking their photos for class. Also the likelihood of Cami parents being ok with her dating ______ with the 4 yr age diff and with _____ being a ____ was too fricking fictional for fiction. If you can borrow the book then borrow it, it isn't worth the amt of money this book going for.

I really liked this book. The whole plot and story was really well written and I loved characters but as much as I did like the book I felt it was predictable. About half way throughout the book I knew what was going to happen but it didn't stop me from enjoying this book. Now I can't wait to read more of Lacey's books if they were half as good as this one!

Did not see the secret coming!! Intersting twist on a love story. This is a quick read and lots of fun. She captures the dynamic of high school life very well. The main characters are believable. And I knew that Clay was weird but yikes!

Crush is a sweet college romance mixed with a little suspense. I worked out the books plot quite early on in the book but enjoyed the storyline. This book has no sex in it just teenage necking. It was a sweet book to read

Really enjoyed this book... and the second one in the series. I have to admit though, I kinda had a lot of it figured out as it progressed, but it didn't matter, it was still enjoyable, and I really love the bad boy / good girl plots.
