My favorite part was when the kids were naked. When the twits came back & were upside down was 2nd best. I also liked when they said they were going to come back but the birds & the monkeys tricked them.

My 7 year old son enjoyed reading this story. He thought the humor was great, especially the part where Mrs. Twit puts worms in her husband's spaghetti. Ronald Dahl has written many books that are entertaining and very funny....highly recommend.

This is my personal favorite Roald Dahl creation of ALL time. We all know at least one crotchety person in our lives that exhibits at least one of the nasty traits detailed in this book. I was very pleased to find this in hard cover to present as a gift to my nephew. A must read to any child around the age of 7.

This is certainly not one of my favorite Roald Dahl books. And anyone who absolutely, positively, marvelously can't get enough of this book is crazy. The actual purpose of the book is a ?. To act like nerds all your life? That's certainly not what I would like to do. Honestly, the whole purpose of this book is to be funny. So not laughing.

I think that this book is hilarious! Mrs. and Mr. Twit are funny and clever. This book is one of the funniest books I've read. It's worth reading.
Mr. Twit is really gross. Mrs. Twit has a walking stick and a glass eye. Mrs. Twit was once kind of pretty, but she had ugly thoughts so she got uglier and uglier and now she's really ugly! I liked it when the picture showed Mrs. Twit getting uglier. It really showed how she got uglier.

One time, Mrs. Twit put her glass eye in Mr. Twit's beer when he wasn't looking. Then he saw it and he got scared. It was really funny.
I also thought it was funny when the birds and monkeys put everything from the floor on the ceiling.
At the end Mr. and Mrs. Twit got the shrinks. The shrinks is how the birds and Muggle-Wumps got the Twits back for making the monkeys stand on their heads.
I'll remember this book for a while. I recommend reading it. I loved this book.

A silly story about revolting people. Which means kids will love it and uptight adults will get all huffy. ;p

The Twits are a married couple that are always tormenting one another with pranks. But not nice ones. Ones like putting glass eyes in beer, feeding worms as "spaghetti" and convincing one another that they are shrinking into nothing. But their torments are visited on others, as well, including a family of monkeys they own, who eventually scheme to get their own back on the Twits. The final prank they play is rather brilliant, and draws upon elements from earlier in the story, making this a remarkably well-plotted book for being so short. The foreshadowing is some of the best I've seen in children's literature.

A good time. I'd highly recommend this as a bedtime story! I'm glad it's in my personal collection.
