I loved this series! The first book was entertaining and sneaky, however the next two books reviewed the first and became somewhat boring and yes repetitious! BUT, thankfully, books three four began to regain my interest. The last of the long series was the best as the details, the whys, and the reasons all were revealed - alas the ending with true hope and not an impossible out-come, depending on all parties getting the message. Read the whole series, even the boring repeats, each page contains mysteries and hidden explanations, but they are difficult to find if one skips over, because to be sure, one will skip an important clue. Big surprise at the end, I loved it. The graphic description provided by the author were beautiful and one can , truly imagine (because isn't that why we read?) the aura described; my imagination was well fed.

It's a great complement for the Fallen Books series with short stories about Valentine's Days of the characters. Each story gives you a different message..hope, sweetness, self sacrifice and love in the most difficult situations. Love it!

I purchased the series for my 12-year-old, highly intelligent, granddaughter. She absolutely devoured the books and loved every minute. I even found her lagging behind me at the grocery store with the book in front of her nose. Hysterical when she ran into a shelf! Great books.

The book was really well written. It gives insight to not only Daniel's and Lucinda love, but the other angels as well. It shows everyone (even immortals) can and do experience heartache and heartbreak.

Never finished the book, when I bought it I thought it was the next book in the series. I only got half way through, and I was very bored when reading it. I guess it was my bad for buying it under false pretenses.

I loved the first four books. However, the fifth book just repeated the fourth book from different characters points of view. And even practically (I think there were) word for word repeated at least one, if not more chapters.
After following Luce and Daniel for four books, you would think "Fallen In Love" would be their final love story. All their hard work for the "end game", we should have been told their mortal love story.
I feel this series is incomplete. Detailed and tells a great story, for the first four books. If you're a stickler for "complete endings", this is not the story for you. Unless you're willing not to bother with the last book. As the story doesn't progress but regress in the final book.
If It would have stopped at four books it would have been much better as a whole

I loved the "Fallen" series so I thought this was a logical book to read next. I loved learning about the characters in their past lives and loves. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the "Fallen" series. Great, light, easy reading.

I remember really enjoying the first few books in this series but since it’s been years since I’ve picked up the first book, it was difficult for me to reenter the series again. I basically had to re-fall in love with Dan and Luce and the whole premise once again. Surprisingly, I ended up enjoying the spin-off (the last book in the series is actually a spin-off and not at all related to Luce or Dan) more than the conclusion of Dan and Luce’s cursed love.
I also enjoyed the novella, Fallen in Love, mainly because it allowed me to understand the other angels a little more even though when I first picked up the book, I had no recollection on any of the characters so the first couple in the novella, Miles and Shelby, were completely lost on me. Actually, now that I think of it, I’m still not 100% sure who they are…LOL. However, Roland and Arianne’s own stories made a lot of sense because they were still prominent characters in the fourth and final (“final”) book. I particularly liked Arianne’s story because I did not know she geared that way. It was a little shocking but I liked it because even angels do not have boundaries on love and I think that’s great.
I’m not going to talk too much about Dan or Luce mainly because I think most of the character building occurred in the beginning of the series and I was essentially only reading the conclusion in book 4, Rapture. Therefore, I will discuss more about the plot and the conclusion. First of all, I was shocked with the ending. I thought the whole purpose of the series was a cursed love between an angel and a human. However, Lauren completely skewed from that and revealed the ultimate reason as to why Dan and Luce have a cursed love to start with. Second, I think that ultimate reason is bogus. I found it ludicrous and ridiculous because, I mean, these are angels. Why do they need to pick a side and failure to do so would end up in a lifetimes of lifetimes of a love that will ultimately lead to death? Needless to say, I was not satisfied with that reasoning but it did give a good introduction into the “final” book of the series.
The whole premise with Unforgiven was fascinating. The idea of Lilith being sent to a purgatory of different aspects of hell that circle on the main thing – revenge – was interesting. You don’t really understand what the story behind was until later on in the book and then you’re like “OH, so that’s what happened” and then you feel bad for the two of them. To be honest though, this whole drama stemmed from Cam’s inability to trust in Lilith enough. If he only had the guts to tell her or show her, then they would have lived a happily ever after and maybe Cam wouldn’t even have sided with Lucifer to start with. But no, he had to be stubborn and scared. I’m just glad it all worked out for them because I simply cannot imagine living different kinds of hell over and over again because of a deal gone bad.
Overall, I still think this series was good mainly because I do remember enjoying the first and the third book a lot with the second one being a bit of a lull. And Cam’s story in Unforgiven was enlightening. I also like you not only got a closer glance at Cam’s background but also more on Lucifer’s personality. There were a lot of LOL moments between the two.

This book is comprised of four novella's featuring the prominent cast members of the supernatural romance series of books. Each story focuses on the relationship between two Angels, and any fan of the FALLEN series would be mad to miss reading these, as well. Ironically, the only let down comes right at the end, with the story focusing on Luce and Daniel, but given the fact the entire four book set is dedicated to these two sorting their problems out, you can’t really expect miracles (pun intended) in a short novella.
The other three stories are great. The romance between Shelby and Miles is absolutely electrifying and of course you totally feel for Roland in part two. The shock comes with part three, Arriane and Tess, but then that might just be my ignorance coming through. Like i have already mentioned, part four was the book's weakest link but it was still highly readable for addicts (like me).
The writing style is just like the others. Bill the Gargoyle is still Bill the Gargoyle and of course Luce is still living in ignorance of her true form.
Enough from me. If you liked the FALLEN series, you will love this. It’s that simple, and it’s a no brainer.
Four stars.
Bye.

The first story in this takes place in Medival England it follows Miles and Shelby who are looking for Luce to bring her to Daniel. While there they meet up with Medival Luce who has at this point met Daniel and lost him as she is not the proper lady he could marry but a farmer's daughter. With the promise of finding Daniel and bringing him to Valentine's Day faire they leave Luce and decide to buy things for Luce and Daniel to help them reconnect with each other. In the midst of this Shelby and Miles find they are falling in love with each other and buy one another a Valentine's Day token for Shelby it's gloves and for Miles it's his missing Dodgers cap he losses in the beginning of the book. There they share a special kiss that shows they are on their way towards love.
The next story is about Roland who is parading around England as a knight. There Roland encounters the girl he loved Rosaline and how he left her when he realized that their love wouldn't work. I really enjoyed Roland's story about how he loved this girl with his whole being but even that wasn't enough in the end when Cam points out what Roland knows that this love isn't meant to be as Roland is an Angel and Roseline is a girl a human girl and their relationship won't work. He goes to see Rosaline to see what has become of her to find she is married and expecting and Roland does the only thing he can insure that her husband stays home instead of heading off to war.
The third story is of Arianne still taking place in England in Medival times. Arianna is spending her time milking a cow for a family and spending what time she can with her love Tess. When Arianna finds out that Lucifer wants Tess back Tess asks Arianne to make a huge sacrifice to give up heaven for hell one decision Arianne can't make. No matter what the stakes Arianne can't give up Heaven even if she is a fallen angel. Tess gets enraged by this and does everything she can to convince Arianne that they can be free to be together in Hell.
The Last story is about Luce and Daniel their story takes place in Medival England on St. Valentine's Day. It takes place during the Valentine's faire and Luce is searching all over for Daniel, even stumbling across Cam at a dance when finally Daniel appears and the two rush off to a secluded area to have their first Valentine's Day together.
I really enjoyed reading the various stories to see some of the history between the Angel's and the ones that they loved. It was refreshing not just be focused on Daniel and Luce!

My heart. Ugh, you guys, I love the Fallen series so much. I know there are a lot of people who just don't get the appeal. They don't like Luce, Daniel, the story, etc. And that's fine. But I love it. I will admit that Torment was a bit of a letdown, but Passion totally brought me right back on board with the series and I have been dying to find out how it ends. When I learned Fallen in Love was going to be published, I was kind of thrilled, but felt it was superfluous to the actual storyline of the series. And though it doesn't actually move the plot along, Fallen in Love is a nice respite from the dramatics and gives nice insights into the characters.
The first story, Love Where You Least Expect It, is the Valentine of Shelby and Miles. Unlike a lot of fans, I haven't been overly fond of Miles and Shelby. They're nice kids who want to help out, but I wanted them to "be quiet so I can have more Daniel and Luce". But I honestly enjoyed this story. It was nice to see them get their own piece of happiness.
Next was Roland's story, Love Lessons. Roland has always been a big mystery to me. I've never understood his motivations. Though this story didn't overwhelm me, I did feel sorry for the poor guy. And though this was my least favorite of the stories, I do have a new appreciation for Roland.
Burning Love is Arriane's Valentine. Arriane has always been a favorite character of mine. She's a bit unhinged, and I like it. Think Kristen Ritter in the tv show Apartment 23. Arriane's story surprised me, in a good yet sad way. I guess I never considered her an emotionally serious character. I was wrong.
Last is Endless Love, The Valentine of Daniel and Luce. All I can say about this story is SWOON. If you love this couple, Endless Love is highly satisfying. It's so nice to see these two in a (short-lived) happy place. I don't want to say to much, but honestly, I got chills.
Fallen in Love was a gorgeously written, very romantic book. I don't know that it's absolutely necessary to read this before Rapture. But if you're a fan of the series, I don't see why you wouldn't want to.
