I could hardly put this book down! The storyline is riveting and suspenseful! The law enforcement terminology, along with the weapons were true and relevant. I loved this book and hope others do as well!

I thought this book was absolutely fantastic! I began reading it and couldn't put it down until I was done. I love books about the Amish and find them fascinating. I think the theme was new and exciting and very believable! I definitely recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book! It was especially interesting to read about the Amish culture and beliefs. I've wanted to go live with the Amish myself to see what it's really like. I would recommend this book.

This is an enjoyable light read. The romance is quite predictable with the usual tension expected in a romance and honorable behavior as expected in an Amish romance. The mystery fails to come up to my standards. At one point I kept asking myself how the Amish handle a funeral without a body. I have never heard of the cremating their dead. Also, how would two family members allow a third family member torment another member with what the first knew to be an obvious lie. In order to create a most unusual plot, the author resorted to creating really strange behavior. Amazingly, the outrageous things did not ruin the novel for me. It remain an enjoyable read.

Liv had always lived Amish. Not long after her marriage he began to hit her in anger but her mother we dead and she went to her mother-in-law and showed her the bruise on her back. She pretended she didn't believe her, saying her son would not do that. Liv saw the hurt in her eyes and suspected her mother-in-law was abused ,too. This story is different from any Amish suspense I have ever read. If you like this type book you will love this one.

One has to admire the key female character. And if you think that she couldn't be THAT tough...you'd be wrong. I had a difficult time accepting some of the Amish ways but the author States that she did research the Amish in Maine and this is accurate.

I found this book to be predictable, boring, stilted in places, and not well developed. I struggled to finish it. I didn't read the author bio until after I finished the book, but when I did, I was not surprised to discover that she's a young writer--the lack of real life experience came through clearly in the storytelling.

I discovered another favorite author the minute I started reading Undercover Amish. This book is well written with excellently developed characters and a stunningly good storyline. I would have liked a little more detail around Isaac and Liv in the end, with them getting married etc. But I think that will be solved as soon as I can read the next one!! Hopefully there area lot of books in the future of this series, because Ashley Emma is another Nora Roberts.

To be fair, the author has an introduction that talks about how she has researched the Amish of Maine and then created her own agency so there can basically be whatever rules she wants.
It was still not good. It just didn't work for me, especially the relationship between the main character and her supervisor - he was shady.
The romance was okay, but nothing in this book inspired me to read more by the author.

I really enjoyed this book. Main character, Olivia, witnessed the death of her entire family. Raised by loving relatives she chose a charming Amish husband who was abusive and circumstances forced her to leave her Amish life. She becomes an undercover detective and sent to her former Amish community to solve a recent murder. There are many twists and surprises as the story developed. There is murder, intrigue, romance, and spiritual lessons throughout this story. I give it a 5 rating which it deserved.

This book is full of suspense and surprises. I thought I knew who the bad guy was but I was wrong. This book has murder, attempted murder, arson, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and domestic violence. I felt so bad for Olivia, she endured so much hurt and sorrow. But in the end she got the victory, I fell in love with Isaac so caring. Loved him and Olivia together.
