I loved the story. Didn't quite understand the beginning bonding ritual, but caught on later. The mystery of The Evening Stars was finally revealed. It was a doozy. Perhaps you could have drawn out the history of The Evening Stars a bit. I'm not satisfied with the ending. Your readers would probably want more from the two main characters,as their life has just begun. A trilogy perhaps. Please. Thank you.

Enjoyable book, like many of K. M. Shea's books. This book is about a young Elfian woman who is becomes bound to a taciturn human military officer. It turns out that she is not all that weak and helpless and he is not a frozen emotional iceberg inside. I withheld the fifth star in part because the romantic part of the book was not as credible as it could have been. She falls for him but it wasn't clear why.

As per usual shea does not disappoint. Entertaining and enchanting characters, a page turning plot and wonderfully clean. I can't wait for my daughter to be a teenager so I can read shea's books with her. I have breezed through all her books and can't wait for more!

I read this after enjoying the fairytale series and Snow Queen series. This stand alone story was an enjoyable read, captivated my interest until the end. The characters and story moved along and was better the second time around!

KM Shea is a great author, although, I noticed that in ALL her books that there are peculiar words and things she writes. Me, a lover of writing, also learn tons of things from this great book. KM Shea I can tell puts energy in her writing. No spoilers, but I will tell you this. If you want to learn lessons, read Red nRope Of Fate. I love fantasy and this gives me a lot of respect for all the charecters, as I learned a lot about them. You must read KM Sheas' books!!!

Loved the characters and the plot twists. I appreciated that it was a clean romance, so many times writers rely on sex to keep the reader interested. I did not expect the one antagonist but did see the other one coming. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy clever, romance fantasy.

Classic fairytale type story with a little twist. The elves/human characters made the storyline interesting and different from other books. The characters were well described and developed as was the background for the story. The plotline was predictable as you expected the ending due to the type of book, however it was still a nice read. Well written and edited.

Again the author creates a believable world and characters: I find myself rushing to read to know what comes next and simultaneously dreading the end when I must say goodbye to the characters. I believe this is intended to be a stand alone book, but I'd like to see more.

The book was amazing I loved the funny misunderstanding and how honestly won the day as well as the woman was just as good if not better fighter than the man.....My only regret was that it ended to soon and there was not a second book waiting to be read.....

So I love just about all types of Romance novels, Ive been on a nauggt kick lately which makes this book even more wonderful. It's such a clean, honest form of love that it will warm the heart of anyone who reads it. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't long enough and I wish that there were more chapters from Arions point of view.

I really loved this book. It deserves 5 stars, something I rarely give. The character's were well developed, the heroine was strong but wasn't a Mary sue and the protagonists were just so cute together. It's a little hard to understand the story in the first chapter but stick with it because it's worth it. I really REALLY want to read another story set in this universe.

Hmm... What to say about this book I was intrigued with this book. I loved the relationship between the 2 main characters and the fantasy was fun and keep me reading more. If you like this book try Ice Queen it's my favorite book of KM Shea's.

Enjoyable read. Some sections have re-read appeal for me rather than the whole book, where later books like those in the Timeless Fairy Tales hold my interest from beginning to end.

Sweet, sweet characters, sweet romance. I did like the characters, plot and world enough that I plan on purchasing the book after returning it from my kindle unlimited library.

I would recommend this book, especially if it's still in kindle unlimited.

Very cute story. The characters were great, and I loved watching them develop. I enjoyed the odd cultures the author created, and the story was quite adorable. I definitely recommend this for anyone who likes clean, romantic fantasies.

I am always curious about how a writer will approach the relationship between humans and elves. This version is intriguing and leaves room to expand the story. Arion and Tari are endearingly personable. I cheered for them throughout the story.

Really enjoyed this story! It is such an entertaining read. Would love to hear that a 2nd book is in the works to continue Tari and Arion's story. Definitely going to check out more works from this author.

I really prefer Tolkin's idea of an "elf" instead of the "Santa's elf" or "Fairie elf" ideas which seems to be more popular. So I was really happy to find this story featuring human and (Tolkin-like) elf interactions! In some ways the basic romance plot seemed really familiar but the side characters set the story apart on it's own (especially Tari's teacher, lol he is fantastic!). I'm also glad it had some action and political intrigue mixed in as I'm not really much of a romance reader. Would definitely recommend to others!
