Reveals much of Roger Ailes mindset. His ethics, loyalty, intellect. The man thinks out of the box and is willing to take on major challenges that most would not dare consider.Interesting from a personal relationship and and business management perspective.

Really enjoyed reading about Roger. He is very intelligent and handles, yes handles people the way he wants
them to be. I find him to be wise and caring in his decisions but does not gloat , at least not often. I think he
was the perfect person to head FNC and turn it into a #1 channel. He usually makes wise decisions however
I do question a couple of people he hired. All in all he has done wonders with Fox and hopefully he will
continue to do so. Just watch it, Roger, who you hire. I am a 24 hr. watcher of Fox so don't you go messin'
with my favorites. I wish Roger and Fox nothing but the best and please continue to "Tell it like it is!"
LONG LIVE FOX! With a fair, honest, intelligent leader like Ailes they will continue to be #1.

Lots of interesting content. The book clearly gives the reader a very good insight into the man and Fox News. It also confirms that Roger and Fox are the only major media that present politics in a "FAIR AND BALANCED WAY"
Getting Real :: Bombastic Roger Ailes Built Fox News--and Divided a Country :: Ghosts of Manhattan: A Novel :: Getting What You Want by Being Who You Are - You Are the Message :: Ginny Moon: A Novel

It's always great to read a "Cinderella" story. Someone who started from nothing and became somebody. I'm a fan of Fox News and Fox Business. I enjoyed reading some of the behind the scenes stories about people I see on TV every day.

It was a privilege to have worked for Roger Ailes at "The Mike Douglas Show." He was an inspiration then with such a passion for what is right and important and still is today. Roger Ailes' impressive contributions set the tone for TV News and Entertainment and our contemporary Political World with integrity, dedication and style. He will always be the consummate leader and visionary who inspires, while also ensuring that he was committed, honest and caring to all those in his world and the public. This book tells the essence of a "One Of A Kind" . . . a true gentleman and leader.

Thank God for Roger and Rupert Murdock. They broke the stranglehold of the Democratic propaganda machine. I am most impressed how Roger does not agree with, but respects and gives pointers to Rachel Maddow. I want to emulate Roger's thinking.

I like reading business books, and Ailes, in many ways, is a media genius. This book, however, seems too much like a public relations piece put out by Fox news. Way too light weight writing, with a lot of fluff, my best guess is that it was written quickly without the effort required to make it a good book. Though it's not awful, this book doesn't come off as a serious or well written biography or business tome. Disappointing.

I was expecting some inside scoop on the workings of the industry and glimpses of key players of business and government, but 99% of the material is dedicated to describing Roger and what Roger did and how Roger interacts with family and friends and on and on. Very little tantalizing information and certainly no one was bashed. Zev is a good writer and that is the only redeeming factor in this book. Highly recommend this book as a sleeping pill.

This book is both insightful and interesting, showing the personality and truthfulness of Roger Ailes. Zev keeps this book informative and personal, while not dwelling on the negatives of the industry.

This book gives lots of stories along with the details of the life of Roger Ailes. It is never boring, which is a great blessing. It is wonderful to find success in action in a persons life. The author gives a great sense of the movement within Rogers life.

I did not enjoy the last chapter, dealing with the election night, 2012. Other than the last paragraph, it was a poor way to end the book. But as a whole, the book is an easy, quick read and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Roger Ailes business practices are very interesting. I like the way he treats people, whether he agrees with them or not. I enjoyed hearing about the people who work for him, as I feel I know most of them well!

Though I am have not completely finished the book, find it very interesting...and Roger, as presenter here, an interesting man. I particularly like his Fox Network - it is my source of what is truthfully going on in the world.
