This was a good read - Steamy, Sexy, Mystery and Romance. Yes, some grammar errors, (seriously people - GET OVER IT) but they didn't stop you from understanding the story and the characters. Hot, sexy, characters with a good story to tell. I look forward to other books and more from Jamie Begley.

Barbara Y's review was on point. Love, lust, deceit, betrayl, love, compassion, Alpha hotness, raunchy wild sex, liberated women and the men who appreciate them. I love the world created in this book. I was a little confused by the strong Christian theme and how it would be reconciled with the lifestlye of The Last Riders. This author is putting original ideas in her story line and I will definitely be purchasing the next title!

Out of all the outrageous behavior in this book, Pastor Dean's confused me the most. And that's saying a lot. There were a lot of errors and I didn't understand a lot of Beth's decisions. I also wanted Razer to grovel more. But even so I still stayed up late finishing this book and I will be reading the rest of the series. Especially if Shade will have a book.

I stumbled on this author/series starting with Razer's Ride. I throughly enjoyed the ultimate Bad Boy and Good Girl interaction in this book. The only downside was that while Razer was a bad boy to the 10th power, he came across a little self-centered. That was a turn off at times. I would rate this book a 4.5 stars. One for the TBR.

I was scrolling through the store trying to find a good book and I decided to click on this one and I am so glad I did. This book is a great start to an amazing series. I could not put it down. It's hot, steamy, funny, sad and so much more. Jamie continues to do an AMAZING job with this series! Can't wait for the next books

The story started out as expected-- shy innocent girl (conservative preacher's daughter no less!) and tough stud biker dude in a super small town, wild orgy type parties back at the Clubhouse, biker chicks up for anything and everything, etc, etc. But as I read along it got more interesting plot wise (so I read the sample then bought it) and revelations are made that explain a lot about the nice girl heroine Beth and her fragile sister's background that makes them unusually shy and almost too nice for real life. This injects real emotion into the story and into a heroine who almost seems opaque and flat in spots but that's the fault of the awkward writing more than anything else. Our hero is a man-whore biker stud. And there are lots of scenes to illustrate the point.
This motorcycle club I found unusual as there are no "old ladies" in committed relationships with the guys. Instead here the women can become members of the club, but have to sleep their way around the officers of the club and collect positive votes in order to gain membership OF COURSE. Each woman gets a nickname which refers to an aspect of her sexuality. And this club is a free sex commune of sorts with a good moneymaking and super lawful business going on by the way-- Oh yeah, the guys are all engineers and former Navy Seals....okey dokey! Yes lots of heat and steam abound and in no time our girl decides to take her big chance at life and take a walk on the wild side pretty much aware of what she is getting into. She takes a few eye opening risks and deals with it. She even pops on some navel decoration later on without explanation! I would have liked her inner workings here. I felt outside of Beth a lot of the time, then again, she was a bit dead inside after her nasty childhood which is revealed later.
Yes it is disappointing and painful that Razer can be a jerk and fools around. But hey he also made her a promise about straying and he stuck to it, so that was commendable! He is totally into the free lifestyle and it's not until much later and many events and realizations later does he realize he loves this woman and wants to make her his. He realizes his failures! OH yes! Of course it would have been much better to have gotten background on Razer much earlier than we do here and letting us in on his character so we could curl up to him better. I felt I wasn't given much of a chance. Unfortunately it comes in a quickie monologue towards the end. Pity!
Unfortunately the awkward writing style is rather stilted and distracting. Other reviewers have mentioned it and it is very true: Use of contractions do not exist. That's fine for Beth who is a rather formal, uptight sort of character but not for the bikers!! So glaringly wrong. Also the use of apostrophes and ANY understanding of antecedents are non-existent here ("his hand found his resting place on her--".) Yes, there are typos but they are so very frequent and so obviously wrong that I often wondered if the author ever had any one else read and go over her manuscript before eagerly publishing it. Other grammar disasters are out of ignorance which is truly alarming: " a whiskey bottle was sat on the counter" or "take a mood" or "her (girly parts) wetted just thinking about..." Or how about: "gradually she relaxed her body fluid and provocative against his" WHAT??? OH NO. Dear author, please take the time for a refresher course in the English language before you publish again. My other huge problem was basic clarity: I was never quite sure who was speaking. Most times one character's remark was immediately followed (on same line) with another character's emotional response...so one assumes that it is that 2nd person speaking. But it wasn't. I found myself going over dialogue several times to figure it out then I just gave up. Erg.
I loved one bit where Beth muses on how the use of the word "hot" which she hears the biker chicks use over and over has become so trite and not descriptive at all anymore..Thank you! Finally! Oh yes, interesting-- our girl is not into sharing but into voyeurism, oh my sweet Beth, and here she really clicks with Razer.
One section where Beth decides to befriend some biker chicks from another club at a gas station where she and Razer have made a pit stop was very ridiculous. It came out of the blue and here Beth seemed like a total freak being overly complementary and pushing her phone number on them. WHY!!!??!! It made no sense whatsoever and seemed very rushed and artificial. By this time Beth is smarter than this, and in general she was way smarter than this. Obviously this bit was needed for a plot event later on, but it needed to be dealt with much much better. I liked that Beth earned everyone's respect and loyalty and friendship by her good deeds and by being a caring, sincere individual. She earns membership in the club (her new better family) by her own honor and it was a good moment in the story. Geez, though, what's her (sex) nickname going to be?? eek. Also, as another reviewer noted, Beth was a virgin until her time with Mr. Razer, (oh yeah, wait til you find out why he has his nickname!) but he barely acknowledged it-- oh he did during of course, but it ticked me off because (as another reviewer noted!) it would have been a great opportunity for some inner character reveal-- if we are to believe he falls for her, this had to have made some sort of impression on him.
Ok, so yes, I had some serious problems with this book, BUT I actually liked the story and the side characters were endearing (Evie!) so I was drawn in. Just the bad English kept spitting me out!! (Please get an editor or two.) Yes, I think I would read more as I am assuming this is the beginning of a series about this motorcycle club.

I liked that Beth has such a forgiving nature cause there is no way I could forgive a man who was screwing another woman in front of me. And to forgive dive again after she swears that she would never hurt Beth again and does those people especially the women have no honor at all. Bliss is a who're who needs to go. All the other women members need to get a taste of the hurt they have caused.

SPOILERS BELOW - THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
********************************************************************************************************
Okay, so let me start this out that I specifically set out on NOT reading this book because I saw so many reviews that showed that our hero (Razer) so I didn't care how it ended or what happened, I WASN'T -WAAAZZZZZ NOT- going to read it.
Nevertheless....I read it! Haha! I'm totally happy I did too. This book was HOT baby. It was super hot and sexy. Shew! I'm still dryin out the panties and it's been a few days.
So, obviously, this is a biker book. Our hero is your stereotypical biker that's in the biker club that is so bad it's good? You know one where they like to scare the sh-t outta everyone and act like a bunch of wild animals and then think everyone is so stuck up and judgmental when the town and other people around them think they are scary and bad? Yep, that's them. Oh! But don't worry -*shakes head*- not these guys. They are human and only want to help the community. OH!!! And all the sex they have with each other - silly gooses, they aren't male whores and female whores...unh unh- nope they just ENJOY their sexuality with as many willing partners as the can get. If you think they are a whore, they'll cry, so don't be mean to them.
OKAY! So obviously the writer had me a little confused (but not too much, 4 stars!). It's like this club is just all show. Posers, impostors, socially challenged. I mean, they want to be "sexually free" with each other and you HAVE to be to be in the club, but if you judge them for it, your the messed up one. Just because they go by a different set of rules. Well, aren't they technically doing the same thing with the society around them? Then there is how the hero demands the heroine stay with him. But then gets upset and tells her not to stick around if she's going to judge...but he's the one forcing her into his world, not the other way around. It just doesn't make sense on how they act. I mean, forgive me if I don't connect and feel bad for these characters because they want to live differently and then complain and whine about people not understanding them. It's just...I dunno....not really very bikerish. I mean, you either care or you don't. i expect my biker's to be a little more hard core.
So the story is what you expect. Heroine needs help, hero helps her, then hero "helps" her again by making her watch him cheat on her.
I wish the hero would have been more possessive, but I guess it just wasn't in him. But hey, he came around and said he'd never touch another woman again, and you believe him, so that made me happy, so wam, bam, thank ya ma'am, I'm done! It ended well and over all the story was very good. Obviously there were a couple things that bugged me, but I moved passed them and enjoyed the book.

I like this book. The motorcycle genre can be formulaic, but there were a few surprises. At first it seemed it would be more erotica than romance but it became a romance, which is more my preference. It’s worth a read.

Really good MC story. I loved Beth the female lead Razer not as much but still loved him. Great development of secondary characters that I can't wait to read about. The sex was really well written and not over the top. I would definitely recommend this story!

******CONTAINS SPOILERS******
WARNING: This motorcycle club LOVES its sexual freedom. I mean, BIG TIME. Members engage in numerous sexual acts with multiple partners both at the same time and/or one-on-one. No one is forced to do anything they don't want to but if you're a female and you want to become a member (because females can be members in this MC) you have to have sex with six of the eight original members of the club. (Some manage to work around this requirement but you'll have to read to find out.) If this doesn't sound like your kind of read, stop here and move on.
I have to admit, I was prepared for most everything this book had to offer. I scoured reviews before I dipped my toe in this MC's water because I was nervous about the fact that I might break my kindle if things got rough. Thankfully, I handled it with grace, even if the main male character (too hard to call him the Hero) engaged in some cringe-worthy behavior... continuously throughout the book.
So yea, the main male, Razer is to put it nicely... a jerk. He very much enjoys the freedom his MC, The Last Riders, provides him and he's quite upfront with the heroine, Beth, when he firsts shows interest in her. He told her he wasn't a one-woman man- although he used a few more colorful words than that but for some odd reason, Beth did not understand what he was trying to say. At. All.
When Beth was provided with that first "visual" of what Razer meant, my stomach lurched. It hurt, and badly. I was so embarrassed for her and was very ticked at three of the participants. Really Evie? Beth agrees to hire you and you still do that? You told Beth you and Razer weren't together... that should also have included together together. I seriously wanted to smack the b****!
And then no one visits Beth in the hospital? Ouch. Then her getting rejected at the club after being released? Double ouch.
I can totally understand Beth's reactions to the betrayals. I liked the way she handled them but she was forewarned and still went back for more. She was obviously naive but was such a sweet, caring, beautiful woman. Heck, she's the town caretaker for Pete's sake!
Someone I can't stop questioning- Pastor Dean. What was up with him? You say you are going to propose to Beth but since you believe she fell for Razer first, you're offering her up on a silver platter to him? Even after Evie told you everything that happened? I seriously doubt his feelings for her when he makes it seem like it's a returning the favor type of thing. Something is definitely up with him...
Absolutely adored Sex Piston and her girls for throwing down for Beth! LOVED that scene!!
HATED Sam the slore!
Very interested in a possible Shade and Lily book.
Razer coming to his senses was too little too late for me but of course, I'm not Beth. I would've liked to see him (and other club members) suffer more. It's sad that it took the help of Pastor Dean for Razer to see the error of his ways. He humiliated her, once again.
Razer's Ride was kind of a guilty pleasure for me. It was a definite page turner, even if I was forced to hang my head in shame at times while reading it. I think I just may have to pick up book two, Viper's Run, later today!

Love Biker books and this one didn't disappoint. Not too sure about having sex to become a member but interesting way to belong to the club. Enjoyed the way the relationship between Beth and Razer came to fruition and am looking forward to seeing how the other members team up.

I really liked the premise of this book, however some grammar issues kept it from a higher rating. There were sometimes I had to read back because of some confusion. Hoping that this can be worked out by the time the next book (I'm hoping about Shade and Lily) comes out next.

Town good girl and former pastor's daughter Beth is busy running her business and taking care of her sister. She is not afraid of the town motor cycle club and their initiations (well maybe). This is a steamy story filled with strong characters and adult situations. I hope Lily gets her own book and so does Pastor Dean...

This book was disappointing but I guess it is ultimately not the fault of the author. It was disappointing because I am comparing it to Reaper's Property by Joanna Wylde, the Undeniable Series form Madeline Sheehan and Kristen Ashley's Chaos Series. That is tough for any author to measure up to. The fact is, this was not a bad book. It just wasn't a good one. And it probably could have been. There just wasn't any depth to the relationship between Razer and Beth. I feel bad posting this review because if I had not been ruined by the previously mentioned authors I probably would have thought this was a really good story. The author does have some promise and if she gets a good editor and works on creating some depth and connection between characters her books will get better. All in all, I have wasted time doing much worse than reading this book. Just don't get your hopes up too high.

You have to read this whole series! It is awesome! I love the depth of the characters and the wide range of emotions they experience. I love the male dominance and the female bonding that goes on. The girls are outrageous sometimes but they stay true to one another and support each other.

Although I liked this book I didn't understand Beth going along with Razer after all that b.s. he said. first of all spoiler..when Razer left her and hooked up with Evie (putting it mildly) and she caught him she should have gave him shell when he tried to get her back at the diner. but no she not only gave in she gave in after he basically told her he would have sex would anyone he wanted but he wanted her to be part of his whore
group. then when she got hurt and they all abandoned her and then gave her the cold shoulder the reasoning wasn't good enough in fact after he announced to everyone he took her virginity it would have been on.I would have punched him in the face... the girls need to be more vigilant and give these men hell...
