This book is thrilling and unpredictable(most of the time). The only bad thing was the quality of the writing itself. I honestly love the book. It is an amazing book. Although I would recommend it sometimes, it is not the best book. I will leave it off on the note that it is a pretty good book.

Very good read. Really kept my interest throughout the entire story. About a third of the way through the story, I stopped and checked to see if there where any other books by this author. I saw that two more books waiting and bought them as well. I hope to see more from this author soon. His writing style reminds me of Koontz, Lee, Lutz, and Konrath. This author is on my too watch list for sure..

A great scary read. I loved it. Menacing...evil...a perfect boogie man tale. I would love to see Freddie Krueger and The Mangler have an epic battle. He's that good of an evil entity. Two thumbs up for sure!

Suspenseful novella that will chill you with its story of a serial killer who returns after many years to continue testifying people from his Fourth floor residence at the local hospital where he died years ago. VOWING to return for revenge, "THE MANGLER", returns on the anniversary of his death, to regain his power. He begins by killing the one person who saw him before he died and vows to kill ANYONE who sees him. Curious teenagers become his next targets but noone is convinced of the wild story they tell. One young boy becomes his target as he attempts to make the boy his nose to do his killing. HORROR and TERROR grip the small town as they realize that a murderous psychopath, who should be dead, may walk among them.

This book kept me engrossed the whole way through. The supernatural content isn't usually a genre I gravitate towards but I found it to be kind of addicting. There were parts of the book that felt like it dragged on a little but other than that I highly recommend it!

Brandon goes to a party at an abandoned haunted hospital only to witness something he will never be able to forget. The hospital is haunted by the ghost of a deranged serial killer who died there years before but on the night of the party he finds a way to come back. Now no one is safe from the mangler.
Floor for was a good horror story that really shows just how much trauma came mess up a person. A. Lopez Jr. did a fantastic job with this book.

The book was extraordinary boring which is a death knell for any book you're reading for pleasure. I didn't know or care who the characters were. The story flitted around like a bird haranguing a stale piece of bread. There was no continuity and no real sense of dread to be had at any point. The story wasn't original, well written or easy to follow. Even though it was free I felt cheated. Cheated of my time and effort to slog through this mess.

A very interesting read. Keeps you wanting more. Very well written. Could be just a bit scarier, more shock and twists. It seemed to teeter on a peak but not quite make the climax. I am looking forward to reading more from A.Lopez Jr.

Very gripping, and enthralling story. I followed along and thought very highly of how the author unraveled so much in a short story, but felt the idea was geared for a true novel. Everyone wants a monster that is at least defeated even if just in a dream, and more character development of all characters what happened to kid scared to death in the corner.

The Author did an wonderful job when this book was written. This book has you engrossed in it from the start. When reading it, you feel like you are in a horror movie right there with the characters. This book is well written, detailed driven and a perfect horror read. I highly recommend this read

Not as such a traditional horror story. The supernatural element is unique however, the ghost of a serial killer! Moments of horror would invariably become a bloody scene of terror when this is the case. By the third (?) Halloween it was wearing a little thin before rolling on through to the. End and coming full circle.

Still a good read if you enjoy the sudden terror of slasher movies as much as the building horror of a ghost story.

The book was extremely cliche. It offered nothing new and felt like the plot of a really bad b-movie. I don't want to get down on the author, but I feel like it was written by a teenager who has been told one too many times they are a great writer by friends and family. I understand people wanting to pursue a passion, but not everything is print material, and this falls into that category. The language was just very dry and weak.

Eerie spook tale that was quite crazy. Seems like the last half took place in the fifth dimension. It was a good read that entertained me for the evening. I'm glad it was a short story, as with all the effort reading it, I'm not sure I liked the incomplete ending. Seems like it could go on and on for forever. But, guess that's how it is in the Twilight Zone! Try it for yourself!

This story is written very sloppily constantly jumping around. It began to be very difficult to follow and I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one; the author also couldn't follow his own story. At one point, a boy who should be 15 based on the timeline in the story is still 13 years old. Two years passed in the book but the boy never aged. Great writing! /sarcasm
