I liked the story very well, however there wasn't much in the line of context. Trouble, happy times, trouble and happy meet. Then scary stuff, Defender arrives. All happy again the end. Almost felt like a paper assigned along time ago but just written the night before deadline. Good but knows they can do GREAT!

Melinda Leigh "can write" and craft a story with a suspense-filled plot and likable characters. I've read 5 of the 6 books now in the "She Can" series. Number 4 was my favorite but they're all good. I like series books because it makes for a continuous story. I read a lot so it's better than jumping from story to story. One of the things I like about Melinda Leigh's books is that each book focuses on a different character in the first book and brings in new characters. #5 is short but equally suspenseful as the first four books in the series.
She Can Scream (She Can Series, Book 3) :: She Fell in Love with a Miami Kingpin :: Amy & Roger's Epic Detour :: Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson (2013-05-07) :: a breathtaking thriller that will have you hooked from the first page

He Can Fall is a fast-paced romance suspense short story that has a lot of action and drama to it. Melinda does a great job on developing her characters and her story without leaving the readers hanging and wanting more. Usually short stories will have readers begging for more, but Melinda did an amazing job on putting her usual writing style of full-length novels to a short story version. We have a story of characters that are thrown into chaos, when the unthinkable happens. What I always enjoy about Melinda’s stories are how she creates a story, and a world where readers will feel for the characters and want to help solve the crime/mystery of what is going on with the characters.

I enjoyed reading this short story and I definitely loved the characters in the story. We have the former army ranger, Sean, who is forced to use his army skills again and his wife, Amanda, who gets put into a very serious situation, but she handles it pretty well.

If you have been meaning to read Melinda Leigh’s books then you can go ahead and read this short novella first. You don’t have to read this in order with the other books. This is a great way to check out Melinda’s books and also get your feel into the romantic suspense genre.

I give this short story 5 full moons and recommend it to romantic suspense readers out there.

REVIEW:
GREAT novella!!!
I am always amazed how much you can put into a short story. Again this was a great short story and like any review I do for novella my review will be short too. I don’t like giving away too much. I will say that even though this was a short story I didn’t feel like anything was missing. I felt that Melinda was able to tell a great story without leaving me with that “I want more” that can come with a novella.
If you have read Melinda’s She Can... Series you will LOVE this novella. If you are new to the She Can...Series He Can Fall is easily read alone and does not affect the order of the series at all. I would highly suggest picking up a copy of the novella.

Disclaimer:
I received a complimentary copy of the book from Melinda Leigh in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

What an adrenaline rush all packed into a short suspenseful story. All the characters were fascinating even the bad guys. It was also very noticeable that the author incorporated her real life training in Kenpo techniques into this book which for one made me never want to take her on in real life and and loving the creative way the hero took out the bad guys.

Even though this was a fairly quick read it was jammed packed with action and suspense from the beginning and had a very satisfying ending. I bow to Ms Leigh and concede I loved it..

REVIEW - He Can Fall by Melinda Leigh

Whew! This was edge-of-your-seat action from start to finish! Danger, suspense and love combine for a fast-paced enjoyable read.

He Can Fall lives up to the usual Melinda Leigh standards and is a thrilling story of how quickly an unforeseen event can uproot our lives. Characters Amanda and Sean demonstrate strength, resourcefulness and love as the story unfolds.

Although this was a short story, the book was filled with depth and layers of intrigue that make you feel as it if is a full-length novel. The plot moves quickly and has many twists and turns. I definitely recommend reading He Can Fall!

It is with great respect for the author and story, as well as my pleasure as a reader, to rate HE CAN FALL five stars. ~ Enjoy!!

This is a short story that is an entertaining, action filled read. Sean and his wife have gone to a remote inn for a romantic week end. He is checking out the security system for the owner before the inn officially opens, then they can enjoy a quiet romantic weekend. Until a group of psychotic armed robbers looking for a place to hide out show up. You will enjoy this story and don't forget to try Melinda's other books. I have read them all and enjoyed every one!!

An all action extremely exciting novella. With characters that you can feel the evil of the bad guys and the righteousness of the good guys . The story is fast and furious with nail biting passages. The ending is dynamic and to be honest this story is well worth its 5* rating by me . Highly recommended for reading on a rainy afternoon or a short haul air flight . Enjoy, I did

Very good. Great conflict & tension. My only complaint is the wrap up was too easy. Answers were given that shouldn't have been know so soon. In other words, the story was too short. There should have been a epilogue. Jmo.
