A well written steamy second chance office romance with heartbreak, lots of laughs, fate, snide banter, wonderful characters, love, and plenty of heat. Hating My New Boss is an extremely captivating read.

I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. This book is full of contradictions. Light but heavy, innocent but hot and sexy, reality and imaginary. It will pull you in and drag you through many obstacles to the conclusion. A book you need to read.

A great sexy story! Justin and Remi were friends growing up. Then Justin gave Remi the cold shoulder. Years pass and then Remi gets passed over for a promotion and Justin is hired as her new boss. Great characters, great chemistry, drama, enemies to lovers second chance style story.

Ok book. Reminand Justinbare childhood best friends. Circumstances arrive that draws them apart. Lies, deceit, shame and misunderstanding keeps them apart. Slow pace but it picks up towards the middle.

The characters are lovely and have an undeniable attraction to each other. They also have great chemistry. These things set the foundation for happy ending of the novel. Great story line and excellent writing. ***I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC***

OMG I couldn't put it down. Rollercoaster ride of epic proportions. Intense emotions, past problems, present problems, this story doesn't quit. BB Hamel you have done it again.

Remi vant stand Justin for very good reasons. When she finds out he is her new boss she isn't sure what to do but won't quit her job. They are put together on a project or the company will load lots and they seem to find out a lot about one another.

Totally captivated me fro the start. Loved Remi and Justin’s story. I was completely taken by the characters, leading me on a journey that touched my heart. I couldn’t help but read it straight through in one sitting. I highly recommended this book.

Loved Remi, the push pull dynamic of the story was good. Remi has reasons to hate Justin but his taking her job really hit her hard. The spark is still there, but can Justin get his way back in with Remi?

This is an enjoyable story, it has an interesting storyline, likable characters. It flowed well, but unfortunately it didn't keep my attention, not my favorite by this talented author.

Childhood bestfriends torn apart by warring fathers, then a tyrannical father. I liked the way this story played out as somethings just aren't forgivable. Nice HEA too

This book was hard to get through. I actually was going to stop reading before I got half way through but kept pressing through it. It’s predictable in the story line. I received an arc copy to review and this is my voluntary review.

I’m leaving a voluntary review for an ARC. Justin and Remy a childhood besties but that broken apart because of Justin’s abusive father. They reunite years later when Justin becomes her new boss. Forced to work together Remi learns the truth about why her best friend abandoned her. She realizes she still loves him and work together together to put forth their best work.

Justin and Remi were childhood best friends until suddenly Justin wouldn't have anything to do with her. Justin's father stole a great deal of money from her dad and sent him on a downward spiral. Then years later Remi learns that Justin is going to be her new boss,getting the job that should've been hers. Now how does Remi manage to work with him when she hates him so much. Great likeable characters. You can understand the hate and the difficulties getting her through it. As usual another well written story. You can't go wrong with anything she's written. Remi and Justine are hot af!! Seriously I almost had to call 911. Mrs. Hamel is a damn fine storyteller. A couple of things that you can expect in her books are a dominant alpha dirty talking male who knows what he wants and how to get it. Next expect a strong don't take no crap female who is waiting for an alpha man to take charge. It's hot, sexual, sensually fulfilling, yet deeply emotional. It's told in different Pov's, no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a hea. I highly recommended this book.

Their fathers were partners and Remi & Juster their children were best friends, then Justin's father cheated Remi's father and walked away from her. So she grew up hating him. Then the unthinkable happened, Justin becomes her boss and she must work close to him. What happens she finds out the real reason for him turning his back on her all those years ago? A nice second chance romance between Justin and Remi. Both were BFF since childhood. He left without word, breaking her heart. Time passes and Justin reappears in her life as her new boss. She was hoping for that position but he was hired which, all by itself, causes her upset and pain. They are both rocked to work together on a file and soon things become clear, they still have feeling. A nice story, kept my interest. I absolutely loved this story! The main characters, Justin and Remi, have history with each other. This history brings a lot of misunderstandings between them. This is a different angle to the second chance romance and it is great, but I would not expect any less from B B Hamel. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily chose to review, but I must say that no matter how I received this book, my review would be the same AWESOME!!

Betrayed that's how Remi felt about Justin from the past up to the present. I get a thrill on rollercoaster rides and that's how I would describe Justin and Remi's story there will be times when you can feel the climb and then boom you drop down, but there's always the sexual tension that hovers over them a constant battle of wills. You'll never know who'll win unless you read this one yourself.

Then having Justin's father cheat Remi's father out of millions of dollars, on a project they were working on together, was another painful memory for Remi. Now Justin is Remi's boss, after her boss and mentor, Diane was fired, both Justin and Remi are now working together by the request of their new clients, Blaire, a unusual and strange, but brilliant person to come up with a new ad campaign for her company Spine, even though Remi can't stand Justin she agrees. What Remi doesn't know is how much Justin want their relationship to continue and grow strong and how much he still thinks about her, but Justin can't stop thinking about his father telling him to choice, Remi or his father or suffer the consequences if he choices Remi, which only angered him and make Justin hate his father more. Can this friendship ever be fixed, can the hurt and betrayal Remi feels ever heal, can they get that spark back they once had as children. You must read the book to find out.

Loved Remi and Justin's heartfelt and emotional second chance romance. This was a great read that I could not put down. Great steam and a great HEA!!

I received this book for my honest review. I loved it. Remi and Justin were friends before his father double crossed her dad. Years later Remi is up for promotion and they company hired him at AD. She still hates him but he has always loved her. Lots of things in his past he regrets. They have to work on a project together but things are heated. They have to take a trip to Hawaii that's where things take a turn. Great book a must read.

Remi and Justin used to be besties when they were younger. Their fathers used to work together and then things fell apart with them which ripped these two apart.

Remi has hated on Justin since then and when her boss loses her job and she gets a new one, well, what do you know, it's Justin. Boy, do the hate sparks fly.

Justin is trying to win the account of an acentric young women who has her hands in the virtual world, but things just keep getting weird with her and harried with Remi. These two are forced to work closely together on this project and it's a whole lot of push and pull and secret fantasies.

Another good book in BB's "Hating" series.

Meghan Kelly never ceases to amaze me with her narrations. This woman has me hanging on her every word throughout the story. There were moments through this story in particular that I thought there were multiple narrators taking part. I think she has done a phenomenal job with each character having them stand out individually. Story wise, Remi and Justin’s history in my eyes is a friends to a bit of enemies to lovers. Early on in life they were closer then you can imagine and as the years progresses things take a turn and now we’re in the present day and they’re reacquainted once again. I was intrigued with the storyline and at times was left with more questions then answers but when it comes to our two main characters, seeing where they take what life has presented to them now had me hooked. There’s so much more to Justin then what made away to the public and at times it’s heartbreaking to even have to imagine what he went through. To see his now man stand up to for what he wants now shows how much he’s grown. Remi irritated me at times with her behavior but I also can understand why she felt the need to act the way she had. Overall the story was good, I enjoyed it and would recommend to others. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This is a wonderful story full of emotions,drama,second chances and streamy scenes. This author has done a amazing job with this story. The story flows from page to page. A wonderful story that I would absolutely recommend.

Her books keep getting better and better if that’s possible. Remi and Justin are terrific, and I hoped she would eventually forgive him for a childhood situation. We are taken from the day-to-day world of advertising to a virtual reality company in Hawaii. Talk about from one extreme to another. Super characters, story, and writing!

Oh My Goodness...this is great writing...it made me want to knock them both in the head for being so stubborn. They have a past of great friendship. Life happens....when they meet again she realllly thinks she hates him....it’s disappointed love. There journey is not your usual story....the sexual tension builds and builds... I read as fast as I could to get to the Moment!! Whoa ! ?? I was gratefully given an arc for a voluntary review ...I LOVED this story....what a rollercoaster ride. BB made my day again.

Another fabulous book. This book takes Justin and Remi who were friends as young age ended up hating each other because of their parents and then working with each other. Along Comes I'm going to say crazy lady with a virtual reality place and it gets them back together very well written book.

Another 5-star story from BB Hamel. This one takes us not only to the world of advertising, but also to a Hawaii working compound for a Virtual Reality company. I don’t know how Ms. Hamel comes up with some of her great ideas, but I am convinced I want what the company is selling.

Justin is a hated ghost from Remi’s past and now he is her new boss at the agency. They were best of friends when they were young, but Justin dropped her during one of the worst times of her young life. There is a lot of snarky comebacks from both characters and you wonder if they’ll really be able to work together on a very important campaign. Their fathers worked together until Justin's father scammed Remi's father and that is when all the hardships started for Remi. She knew that Justin didn't have an easy life because his dad was an alcholic. She just doesn't know how bad. They fall out with each other because Justin's father made him stop being friends with her. Fast forward to her new boss who just happens to be Justin. He never stopped having feelings for her. But she hates him. Can they over come their feeling?

“Hating my new boss” is an emotional book that pulled me in from the beginning, the mix of humor, sadness, hot scenes, passion, pain, trust, emotional ups and downs makes it worth the read. B.B. Hamel really knows how to write a great lovestory. I highly recommend this book.
It is a standalone book with no cliffhangers and a HEA.

B.B. Hamel is one of my favorite authors. Justin & Remi's story was exciting, this story will have you chuckling in spots & ready to scream in others. This story is a definite must read that won't disappoint you.
