Beach House Memories (The Beach House)

I loved this book and looking forward to reading all the books in the series. Love the characters in this series and learning things I didn't know about Loggerhead Turtles. The friendship between these women is special.

Disappointed. ...... the story is a more in depth version of the first book. I was expecting something more not just Lovie. I thought there would be more of Cara and Toy. Did not like the way it ended.

I have read Beach House and Swimming Lessons and enjoyed them immensely. However, Beach House Memories really stuck a cord with me. It was predictable and I thought I knew what would happen but it was really moving watching it unfold. I would recommend this to all.

I enjoyed The Beach House so much and was thrilled to find Swimming Lessons, which basically takes you along the path of the next generation. Then I found Beach House Memories and loved getting the back story of The Beach House. You always wonder what makes people tick and this spells it out. But I am glad I read them in the order I did, this one last after The Beach House and Swimming Lessons.

I read both Beach house books,and I was captivated by the characters. During this time, My mother passed away, and I identified with the depth of love between mother and daughter. I would love to read the continuation of Cara's life!

Loving this second book in the series just as much as The Beach House. Mary Alice Monroe writes with such warmth and depth for her characters. I felt like I was there with them throughout the book. Thank you.

Could not put this book down. Mary Alice Monroe is quite an engaging author. She brings the characters to life and brings the waters off South Carolina to life. Love how she intertwines the struggles with the loggerheads to that of the main character. She made me weep at the end for Olivia and Russell's love and sacrifice for each other.

I especially love Mary Alice Monroe novels...and this one was no exception! As with many of her novels, "Beach House Memories" takes place in a beach locale very familiar to me, as I am such a lover of the Carolina shore!!

If you read Beach House, you must read this book. I could not put it down. The story made me believe I was back on the Isle of Palms. I spent every summer vacation at Wild Dunes and I am sure this is the development they were talking about in the book. It was a love story and much more. Mary Alice Monroe is the kind of writer that draws you into the story.

I love Mary Alice Monroe's writing. She brings the book and area to life. I could smell the water and see the turtles hatch. love her writing. This book has a lot of insight into women's life's and what they had to struggle with.

After reading The Beach House, I couldn't wait to buy this book. Brings the story full circle. Loved the book, loved the characters and truly shows the reader the depth of lot true love and how dearly the sacrifices can be.

Another wonderful book from Mary Alice Monroe. I love her book, " The Beach House ", and this book follows up on the characters in that story. I read this book to fast too, as I hated to see it end.

Enjoyable book easy reading. There is also an interesting thread of the loggerhead turtles which I found very interesting. I liked the characters and their solutions to their problems and facing the failures

To say I loved "Beach House" and "Beach House Memories" is an understatement! Each day I met these characters, at my reading time, as if they were my family members. I couldn't wait to see what popped up next in the adventure. Thanks for sharing so much knowledge about the life cycle of Sea Turtles!
