Jess, the youngest of five children, buys The Inn at Eagle Point when it comes up for sale. Jess has ADD and is easily distracted. She has let some bills slip by, and the Inn could be in foreclosure. Her oldest sister, Abby, comes back to town to help her financially and get her on track. Abby is divorced and has two 5 year old daughters. They visit with Abby's Grandmother. In the meantime, Trace Riley has been coaxed to come back to Chesapeake Shores to learn the banking business. He is put in charge of outstanding loans. Trace and Abby used to date seriously until she moved to New York and got married. Now that they are both back in town, will they reunite? Will the Inn survive all the struggles?

Looking forward to reading more in this series. A friend recommended the "Destiny" series to start. I read the series and when done I searched for another. I like to read family sagas where you follow the characters through a series of books.

As always this book gets you hooked on reading the other books. Remember once you start keep reading the whole series. I like when you get to know everyone it's like you are part of each person and family.

Excellent read. I bought the book because I had come across the rest of the books in the series and wanted the complete set. The entire series is very entertaining and it was very hard to put down. Ms Woods likes to delve into how people are thinking and family dynamics. She does an awesome job. I hated to leave the family when the series was done.

If this was the first Chesapeake Shores book u ever read-u would be disappointed by being left "hanging" as to what happened to some of the other characters (i.e Megan--Bree--) mentioned in the book who were dealing with issues also--

but all in all not a bad read - ended almost as u would have guessed with a little twist--
