Read this short beautifully done morality tale to our two and a half year old grandson and he loved it. He couldn't follow the story completely yet, but he understood the playful rhythm of the words, and the sensitive rendition of the small animals. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely ourselves. This is a book I believe our grandson will enjoy growing into, progressing from spotting small details in the images, to enjoying the story itself. This review is for the Kindle digital edition, which shone beautifully and cleanly and clearly on my Kindle Fire.

A thoroughly delightful children's story in fun poetry style, and wonderfully illustrated to accompany the text. A positive message of doing good deeds and paying it forward. Highly recommended for family reading time!

Harry The Happy Mouse By N K
A colorful rhyming children's story about Harry the mouse and he likes to walk around meeting other animals. Very colorful.
The animals learn it is nice to help others who need your help and it makes you feel grand.
At times it is difficult to read the words because of the script used.
Other activities, games and fun pages are included at the end.

Most of the illustrations for this book were very very nice, but a few were on the amateurish side, like they were tired of drawing the main subjects that day. Ha ha. The story was rhyming and it did a good job with that. The reading rhythm was only slightly off in a couple of places. Its message of paying it forward and the act of helping making you feel good was wonderful.

Love this book !!
The pictures are adorable, the story it's a good lesson for little and big kids.
I enjoy every page.
Important: The book looks perfect on the Ipad, not so perfect on my laptop (MacBook Pro)...most of the pictures are missing.
If you like this book, I recommend another book too... Isabella in the land of fairies.

This is a nice story about helping others and teaching kids how important it is to help others. It is beautifully illustrated and the colors are bright and eye-catching. The story didn't hold my grandsons attention too well but he is only two years old and I think it was a little over his head but I thought it was a nice story with a good lesson.

This is a most wonderful book with a great message for all. I love sentences that rhyme and make you giggle a little along the way. I can honestly say I got tongue twisted a few times. Which of course, makes it more fun, when you are reading to someone. I got two copies of the book and while my first intentions were to send a copy to a relative, it came in quite handy while reading to my daughter. I had one, she had one. And as I read and she listened, she was mesmerized by the amazing artwork on each page. Each page of the art work has interesting things to see.
This book would be good in any home, would make a wonderful book for kids to read in waiting rooms or doctors offices, a gift for family and friends.

A delightful little book about a mouse who helps a frog that he meets on his evening walk. When the frog wishes to repay him for his kindness he states (and it is a repeated line throughout):
“You shouldn’t thank me, just help someone too! That’ll be better, for me and for you!”
The illustrations were cute, colourful and fun to look at. My only concern was that the font was a bit difficult to read. Now this might not be the case when reading a physical copy of the book, but I was reading this to a child on my tablet and it was a bit of an issue as I could not increase the size of the font.
We also enjoyed the cadence of the story. Seemed to be catchy enough so that the line from above was repeated numerous times by the little one I was reading to (yeah).
As books 2 and 3 are also free on Kindle (Harry the Christmas Mouse and Harry’s Spooky Surprise), I have downloaded them to read the next time I am looking after young one’s as I like the message portrayed in this book – one of being helpful and paying it forward. Great lesson to teach children.

We loved this delightful story. Harry the happy mouse is a great little role model for children, spreading happiness by helping his friends. So nice to read a story with a positive 'pay it forward' message. This story appealed to all three of my children. My little ones (3 & 4) enjoyed it as a bedtime story and my eldest (7) read it to me.
This rhyming story is beautifully written, it's great to read out loud and my little ones had fun joining in with '...just give them a hand.' We also loved the cute and colourful illustrations by Janelle Dimmett; they really make it a special book. Now we're looking forward to the next book to see how far Harry the happy mouse can spread his magic.

I loved this book! It was beautifully illustrated throughout and very well written with the chapters all rhyming. It was a beautifully flowing book.
It is all about Harry who starts off doing a good deed for someone and then instead of wanting a reward asks that the frog pays the kind deed forward. This then continues as each recipient pays it forward.
The book has a great moral tale for children to follow, showing that one good deed leads to another and you don't necessarily have to get something in return to feel good. It is a great lesson for all children.
I thoroughly recommend this book if you have children or grandchildren. It comes in Kindle form or paperback form.

This is a wonderful book with beautiful illustrations and a lovely story. When I read it to my kids, at first they weren’t keen as they don’t usually like rhyming stories but they absolutely loved it. The story has a nice flow to it and a great moral of teaching kids how to be helpful. My kids were drawn into it and they were really happy at the end. I really liked it too. All the characters were so cute. I would definitely recommend this as a great read for all.

Harry the Happy Mouse is a delightful children's book that teaches children that by helping someone they can inspire that person to help someone else. The story moves along as one animal helps another and then that animal helps the next, with each character feeling happy about their good deed.
The rhyming and alliteration make the story easy to read and the illustrations are lovely. This is a wonderful book for children as the behaviour the animals demonstrate sets a great example for young children.
