Not a bad plot, but the writing is poorly structured, juvenile, and phrased in an awkward manner. Dialogue is unrealistic, wordy, and everyone speaks with the same voice. Author is fond of the phrase "son of a bitch.". Too fond.

The story could have been good but the writing is at a Junior High level. Too much detailed conversation during intense moments. Who has a full on conversation/ argument about weekend plans during Sex?! Not just making out talking but full on sex. And when a serial killer is running full force at you, you don’t stop to discuss the intricacies of your relationship with your husband. You F’ing RUN!!!

Terrible sentence construction and the plot is completely trite. Unlively character dialog. A thesaurus could be a magical tool. I am truly sorry to be so brutal, but I wasted $1.99 on the narration. Character development is o.k. but could be so much better
The Uninvited (Ancient Guardians Book Two) :: The True Story of the Union Screaming House - The Uninvited :: Song of Dragons: The Complete Trilogy :: Air Awakens (Air Awakens Series Book 1) :: The Uninvited (Krewe of Hunters)

Worst book ever, had to force myself to read it... it took 50 pages for them to leave on the trip, and these were not characters we needed to learn about. The writing seemed like a b movie to me, there was never any real motive that I could find, overall I thought it was just bad. It's hard to find good extreme horror, so the name lured me in. Glad it was free on Kindle unlimited.

This book and the sequel the stranger were just to gory for me. The same killing over and over again. No plot really. I wouldn't recommend it unless you like stuff like Freddie or The Chain Saw Massacre.

Creepy and scary, couldn't believe every character died. However, it was very hard to follow, seemed like whole parts were missing, and the grammar and spelling were horrendous. Was this book never edited, appeared to be written by an elementary aged child. Do not recommend this book!
