White Cargo

The story and the characters were fascinating. The plot kept presenting changes that were unexspected making it hard to put the book down.
My only complaint was it was bloodier than I t hought necessary.

I chose this rating because it's a fantastic plot and reader friendly. Mr. Woods really knows how to spin a yarn and get the reader involved. I recommend this book to anyone that's eager to get tied to a thrilling story.

I was hesitant because I love the Holly Barker and Stone Barrington stories and didn't really think I would fall for someone else. However, the characters here were just as compelling as the others and the story griped my attention right from the start.

Stuart Woods really described flying the airplane so well, I felt like I was in the cockpit with him at one time. His ability to create the setting so vividly that you can see it in your mind. What an exciting book that held my interest so much that I couldn't put it down until I actually finished the book!

I have been disenchanted with Stuart Woods over the last few years. Rereading earlier novels reminds me why I was initially drawn to his work; plot, description and dialogue. White Cargo and Run Before the Wind are my favorites.
