Stone barrington is Stuart wood's best character in any of his novels. The character is funny and always getting into a situation that usually his friend Dino bachetti has to help him out of. Stuart wood's is the only writer that I buy his books as soon as they are available. And I read his books over and over.

As always Stuart Woods, Stone Barrington books are always good. His unique writting skills keep you interested from the first to last page.
Hot Pursuit is a winner, exciting and different. You will love this book.

Typical Stone Barrington, always finding trouble and handling it with ease. As always, fast paced and has a great plot. I just knew he was in jeopardy this time, but as usual pulled it out. Great read!

This was pretty good Stuart Woods....he's apparently back from whatever that was in the last few books! I only wish he'd tone down the partisan political view a bit more. I always enjoy his style, though; this reads like butter. A good, enjoyable read.

This was a pretty good, relaxing read. Sort of like living a life thru the eyes of someone rich and famous. I can just see all the places and things in Stone's life. I was pleased that the sex had been toned down a bit. Some previous books concentrated on that aspect of the story more than the plot line for the thriller.

Stuart Woods redeemed himself with me in his Stone Barrington HOT PURSUIT novel. Books 31 and 32 were not u[p to the standards of his previous novels. I particularly dislike the repeated sexual "quickies" that Woods tends to resort to in his later novels. Barrington barely knows the female's name before they are in "hot pursuit" .

I have read all 33 Stone Barrington novels and wish I could say Mr. Woods is getting better, but I can't. He is probably using software to write his novel's for him now. I apologize for the negativity, but STONE is so boring and predictable now.
