Since obtaining my Kindle from the store, I have read each and every novel by Stuart Woods and his Stone Barrington ones are all really great. You should begin with the first book and read through them all and you will grow in with the interwoven characters as you read along. It makes for a very interesting tale(s). It will take you from a Georgia farmer whose offspring becomes President of the United States, Stone who was a detective and now is a very rich lawyer, Dino, Stone's partner as a detective who becomes Police Commissioner, and many other well defined characters for you to be enamored with and follow. This particular novel portrays Stone and Dino as usual, assisting someone become very successful and having to solve many problems in order to do so. I promise you will enjoy your reading.

Stone Barrington is his usual self, dining with Dino, always being the playboy with the ladies. His life is in danger, as is Dino's, both of whom have a madman killer after them. Part of it is a nail biter, but the hero narrowly dodges the bullet

I love Stuart Woods books and esp. Stone Barrington. This book is not his best work. Weak finish - it just sorta ends. I had the feeling that there was a new book deliverable, and this was rushed to meet a deadline.
Mounting Fears :: Hot Mahogany (A Stone Barrington Novel) :: Lost and Found Groom (A Place Called Home, Book 1) :: A shocking psychological thriller with a breathtaking twist that will keep you up at night (The Secrets of Suburbia Book 1) :: Run Before the Wind (Will Lee Novel)

Getting out of the political arena a bit, where some extended focus has been extended as of late. Not complaining, just an observation. Back to the more traditional Stone in Naked Greed. Enjoyable read.

Having read several of Stuart Woods books in this series I have to sadly say I was disappointed in this case. I kept waiting for a plot to develop but it never did. It was more like a chronology of events, many highly unlikely, that just kept on coming. If you want a very fast read that does not require any real thought then this may be a book you will enjoy. If you want something you can sink your teeth into, I suggest you pick something else.
