The characters are real, the imagery vivid. I could see the people and feel their experiences, their environment. A mother's childhood fears coming back, the security of home being lost and at the same time a young woman falling in love and facing those fears with the love of a man who is torn between a woman and his calling.

Lost and Found Groom was the first "romance" book that I've read in a long time that was more than just sex scenes held together by a little conversation. I was thrilled to finally see a heroine who didn't buckle at the knees the moment the hero came back into her life. Ms McLinn tried hard to give her characters real history, real problems and real fears, and for that I applaud her. I was getting sick of women who "knew he was bad but went to bed with him anyway" stories and all before page 30 (can't some of these heroines have just a little more fight and grit?).
That said, I was disappointed that her hero's avocation fit a little too neatly into the heroine's worst fears. The point could have been made without a glaring give away to tell us what was troubling her. The story also needed the tension between the main characters heightened. In some ways, the hero was too nice and it detracted a little from the tale.
Still, Lost and Found Groom was a book that told a story of two people and was much more than just body parts in motion. Please don't get me wrong. I like women's erotica. But you can only read so long about body parts in motion before getting...bored.
I recommend it to those who like a little story along with the body parts in motion and heroes too hunky to resist after page 30.

Enjoyed reading about Kendra and Daniel. Their love with stood all her doubt. The daddy of her son was very patience with Kendra. Daniel loved them both with his whole heart. Good book you should read it.
A shocking psychological thriller with a breathtaking twist that will keep you up at night (The Secrets of Suburbia Book 1) :: The Friday Night Knitting Club (Friday Night Knitting Club Series) :: A Proven Program to Teach Your Baby to Sleep Twelve Hours a Night :: Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut (1999-05-11) :: Hot Mahogany (A Stone Barrington Novel)

Everything Daniel and Kendra did was backwards.Meeting and conceiving in a tropical hurricane, learning about each other three years latter and only then falling in love Well drawn characters and an intriguing story line make this a real good book.

Totally exasperating heroine. While I could understand her feelings for a while and definitely sympathised, I eventually lost all patience with her and I really didn't care that when I had waded through 91% of the tale, she finally had an epithany! Will not be reading the rest of this series.

The review sounded good. I had never read this author and always looking for new. It started very well, and as time passed it started dragging. A lot of going back and remembering. I prefer a little more activity and excitement. I will try this author again as her story line was good, I thought. Perhaps she's like fine wine and improve with age.

good setting of the story at the start.
attention grabber.
lengthy angst over h's abandonment issues.

Great story. It was definitely different and I really enjoyed the characters. A good love story without all the explicit sex scenes. Would recommend everyone try to read if looking for entertainment.

I really enjoyed this book. I really like books that keep you interested from first to last and this pretty much did. The book drug lightly a couple of times but I plan to read the rest of the series. It was a good fairly clean book, not a lot of sexual discretion so a little younger can read and enjoy. GJRA

3.7 Stars. I enjoyed the story, the setting, well-developed plot and characters. LOVED the beginning! The heroine's hang-ups seemed excessive. I was ready for her to get over all her issues a long time before she did. Loved the hero.

What a wonderful, beautifully, touching and emotional story. I enjoyed reading it from the beginning till the end. The storyline and the characters are so captivating that it felt so real instead of reading it from a book.

Contemporary romance. An investigative reporter has a one night stand during a hurricane and when she finds out she is pregnant, she can't find the father. Two years later he shows up with a different name, wanting back into her life. Well written story, fun read.

Great read. The author was successful in developing the characters and showing the difficulty of overcoming traumatic pasts to learn to trust in someone other than their selves to be able to accept love.

I was a little disappointed with this story. I just can't explain it. Maybe the use of our Lords name in vain rubbed me the wrong way.. Was the sexual parts necessary. Sorry I am not able to voice my opinion .
