I love the development of the story lines and characters of this series. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the conclusion. She introduces several sides to the issues, including the accompanying emotional impact on the families and on the Amish community as a whole. This series is based on an actual event, which makes it all the more interesting to read and contemplate.

The Forbidden by Beverly Lewis is another great Lewis book. I love reading Mrs. Lewis' stories about the Amish. They always make feel as though I am right there. Her stories sre obviously written by a caring, loving person thst holds the Amish in a special place in her heart. Keep the stories coming, please. She makes me laugh; she makes me cry and I keep coming back for more. SKS
