Most Likely to Score was fun, sweet, sexy, and pure sports romance magic! I absolutely loved Lauren Blakely’s writing style and the amazing storyline and characters she created. I truly love the humor and wit she incorporates into every book she writes, and both were in abundance in this novel. Jones and Jillian’s story was everything I wanted and so much more, and I honestly loved reading every single word of this book. Most Likely to Score is by far Lauren Blakley’s best standalone romantic comedy yet, and I cannot wait to read more from her!
Jones and Jillian were phenomenal characters, and I absolutely adored them and their story. The chemistry between them was red-hot, and I loved their personalities and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Jones and Jillian’s POV, and I highly enjoyed all of their banter and interactions with each other. The secondary characters were wonderful as well, and I loved their addition to the story. Lauren Blakely truly outdid herself with Most Likely to Score, and I was hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely loved everything about this book, and I was extremely happy with the conclusion to Jones and Jillian’s story.
Most Likely to Score was a sweet, sexy, humorous, and highly entertaining standalone sports romantic comedy, and a perfect way to start off 2018! Lauren Blakely completely blew me away and exceeded my expectations with this book. I loved everything from start to finish and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome to Jones and Jillian’s story. If you want a story that is pure sports romantic comedy magic, then Most Likely to Score is definitely the book for you!

Jones Beckett has a reputation that is less then stellar, but he's about to get a makeover in more ways than one.
Jillian Moore has worked hard to get where she is in her career and she's not gonna let a player stand in her way... maybe.
Both are attracted to each other but circumstance kept getting in the way until a project brings them together. The more they spend time together, the more they get to know each other until the tension explodes.
What happens blows their mind and rocks their world, but can they find a way to make this a lasting relationship or will this be just a passing fling never to be mentioned again?
Most Likely To Score is fun, saucy story that will keep the reader captive with its wit, humor, and romance from start to finish.
Jones and Jillian are brilliantly matched in every way possible. I love much they want to learn about the other because they deeply care about each other, and the more they learn the deeper they fall. Their banter is mesmerizing, hilarious, and flirty. When the sexual tension finally breaks, the fire ignites and the sparks fly off the pages. Talk about hot!
I loved every moment of Most Likely To Score and watching this couple fall in love. The storyline was brilliant, the characters enthralling, and the love story heartwarming. I really loved that both Jones and Jillian are close to their family, but I especially loved that Jillian was adopted and her parents encouraged her to embrace her heritage.
I always look forward to reading a Lauren Blakely book and Most Likely To Score delivers a touchdown. Lauren has an ability to weave a story that is full of heart, soul, heat, and love that will bewitch the reader.
Whether you love sports romances or not, you'll enjoy Most Likely To Score with its alluring flirtation, sizzling heat, hilarious situations, swoon worthy hero, delectable heroine, and undeniable love.

There's only one thing better than a Lauren Blakely book any day of the week. It's cracking open that first page on a cold winter weekend and having time to curl up and enjoy it cover to end. I spent the last couple of days in the most romantic friends to lovers story I've read in a long time. Jones and Jillian were absolutely adorable. Funny and just perfect for each other. I really loved how this author always keeps the focus on the love story that's building and low on drama that distracts and takes away. There's nothing but good things amongst the pages. Every character adds something special and when I find those sweet sappy tears of joy falling down my face I know I've found another favorite. Absolutely wonderful story for anyone who's got a romantic heart beating in their chest.

Lauren Blakely knows how to write fun and adorable books and Most Likely to Score is a sweet story full of slow burn romance and sexiness!
Jones is a professional football player and he knows how to score in and outside of the stadium. Unfortunately his public image has taken a hit and now he has to follow the rules even if the only thing he wants is to break them with his beautiful publicist, Jillian.
Jillian is devoted to her work and she will have to resist making a huge mistake by surrendering to her attraction for Jones. Her mom always said she can find happiness through her job and a little crush for the hot player means nothing, right?!
I loved this adorable couple. Jones is playful, flirty, kind and helpful. Although there is the accusation of being a bad boy at the beginning, the man is anything but. He is a family man, he is ready to help whenever he is needed and he is so cute with his dog. He is a man with a heart of gold that loves his family and his girl. Jillian is hardworking, passionate, driven and bold. I admired her honesty and her integrity.
Although this is a slow burn romance , their feelings are not at all slow. There is this energy between them full of emotions. They want each other fully and completely and their only obstacle is their jobs. They are sexy together but their intimate scenes just being a couple in love will make you sigh. There is no drama and it's good to see these two falling for each other simply but so sweetly.
Lauren Blakely knows how to bring smiles on your faces and if you want to read a romantic book at its core, this is the story for you!

I really, truly loved this story about NFL Renegades star player, Jones Beckett and the team publicist, Jillian Moore. Jones has been secretly attracted to Jillian ever since he first laid eyes on her when he started playing with the Renegades, but she acted unimpressed and disinterested. Nothing came of his interest and he moved on to other women, quickly earning himself a reputation as a good-time guy and a player, but Jillian always held a place in his heart even when he didn’t know it himself.
Jillian had noticed Jones when he first came to the Renegades, her attraction to him was kept under wraps as she didn’t want it to interfere with her job. She takes her work seriously and is always trying to find ways to make the team look good. She wants to do a calendar shoot for animal charities and her boss suggest that Jones would be the perfect model.
Being forced to work together finally gives them the chance to get to know one another properly and as time passess, Jillian realizes she was wrong about Jones. Yes, he’s a lady-killer, and a huge flirt, but he also has a huge heart a well as those BIG hands.
I really adored all things Jones. He was sexy as sin, but fun and flirty too, it’s no wonder Jillian finds him so tempting. So, when she gives in, she is all in. Heart and soul.
There isn’t a tremendous amount of angst in this story, it just all boiled down to belief and conviction. Of knowing what you to do over what you should do.
I’m looking forward to maybe getting some more stories from this series. Harlan needs one for sure. Trevor too.
I thoroughly recommend this book to Lauren Blakely fans, new and old.

Readers....prepare thyselves for the sexiness that is Jones Beckett! Back with her new standalone sports romances, Blakely's latest duo are HOT HOT HOT!
As Jones' agent, Jillian knows she can't break the golden rule of getting involved with one of the players. But Jones is an insatiable flirt and Jillian can feel her walls crumbling with every sensual joke that comes out of his mouth. But when a trip between the two of them leads to a night of passion she can't help but wonder if they can keep their secret. Jones has spent months trying to catch Jillian's eye but his sexy agent seems unfazed by all of his sly advances. After a night beyond his wildest dreams he's determined to do whatever it takes to have a piece of Jillian in his life; if it means keeping it secret from everyone in his life.
There's something about a forbidden romance that can give readers just the right amount if danger. Neither our heroine or hero want to risk their careers but can't resist the pull against one another. I loved that Blakely strayed from her usual male only POV to give us Jillian's side of this story. There's an undeniable chemistry between Jillian and Jones. Their witty banter and sexual innuendo leaves every moment dripping in anticipation. And while some secret and forbidden romance can leave readers feeling secondhand embarrassment, I couldn't help but find myself yelling at Jillian and Jones to just BE TOGETHER! The (pun intended) climax of their finally coming together was SO THRILLING. Jones is such a sweet goofball but when he can have a private moment with Jillian...OMG! SEXY TIMES ABOUND!

Oh boy, another amazing book by Lauren Blakely. AMAZING!!! I’m always super excited to start one of her new stories, because they never let me down. This was also the second book in the Most Valuable Playboy series, so it was great to see the characters again.
The writing is once again great, and I loved that Blakely did this book in dual POV, because I needed both Jillian and Jones points of view to get the full story.
I loved both main characters. First of all, let me tell you something, Jillian is chinese! Yep, I had no idea until I started the story, but I loved her, and I loved how she embraced her ancestry. So good! She was amazing, so focused on her career, afraid of following her heart, but not letting it be in the way of her happiness. YES YES YES. And Jones? OMG, a big ball player cuddling with small animals… SWOON! And he was also so focused. I loved their love for their careers and the important role it played on the plot.
They were perfect for each other, and their relationship was born from true feelings and not just attraction, so YES!!! I loved these two together.
The plot is mostly the development of their relationship, and them realizing that their personal life and their feelings are important, and they deserve to take a chance on that, and not focus solely on their amazing careers. It was very well done, because the pacing was great, and the relationship was well developed.
SO YEAH, GO READ THIS BOOK. NOW.

Loved this story of Jones and Jillian. Another big hit by Lauren Blakely. We met these characters in Most Valuable Playboy and I fell in love and couldn’t wait to read their story. Theirs is a forbidden attraction so they deny their feelings and both just play it off with witty flirts. If they give in then it could ruin things for both of them. Time and just life shows them there is more there, more that is worth the risk. More than just lust. Now what? Risk it all for love? Read to find out. This is a touching story. It’s not about football although Jones is a pro football star and Jillian does PR for the team. It’s a story of taking chances, family, love, careers, potential loss, and grabbing your HEA if you can. You will really get to know these characters and want them to find their HEA. Jones is absolutely loveable you will want to cuddle with him and the puppies. Lauren also gives us a little of herself in this story which you’ll find out at the end. So touching and special when an author shares part of their personal self with their readers. I read this early copy to give my honest opinion. I loved it! It melted my heart so many times as well as melted my panties with the heat from these two. Did you read the intro? He’s 6’5” so he’s “big” everywhere. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This sexy forbidden romance is run into the end zone for a game winning touchdown.
Lauren Blakely has done it again.
Jones has had his eye on the sexy publicist for his football team. He’s tried flirting with her incessantly, but she isn’t catching his passes.
Jillian has kept up her professional appearance around Jones, but as she starts spending more time with him and sees what he’s really like she can’t resist him.
The risks are too great for them to be caught in a relationship.
Will LUCK be on their side.
Funny, witty, lovely read. Don’t pass this up.

Jones and Jillian … sigh … I love these two – there is something so adorable and innocent about them. He is a football player – popular, sexy, charming. She is the team’s publicist who job is to clean up the players’ image. Jillian has a crush on Jones for a long time but she does not think Jones would be attracted to someone like her. Jones has always been with smoking hot women, a playboy of sort but he is determined to change his image for the new season. Jones surprised me though – he easy going, fun, and has a big heart. He is the star receiver with big hands … ahem and other parts - he is confident but not cocky. Jones is also secretly attractive to Jillian but he knows she is off limits. I adore Jillian as well – quirky, sweet, hardworking. The two of them are super cute together – there is a lot of innocent touches, innuendos, and flirting going around.
You really can’t go wrong with Lauren’s books – always thoroughly entertained with humor, heartwarming, sexy romance. This one is sport theme/forbidden romance – the best kind. I devoured it in one sitting.

I have been a huge Lauren Blakely fan for forever. She never fails to deliver a sexy, romantic, fun read full of characters that you can't help but root for.
Most Likely To Score has now become my new favorite Blakely read. I love a good forbidden romance, add in a little football and Blakely had me hooked from the start.
Jones Beckett is the star receiver for the Renegades. He is fun, sexy, and a big flirt with big hands. When he needs a little help with is reputation off the field, Julian, the teams publicist steps in to make sure everything goes smoothly with his new endorsement.
Julian is professional, hard working and oh so hot for Jones Beckett. But doing anything about her feelings could be the end of her career and Jones' endorsements.
To say I loved this one is a huge understatement. If you, like me, love a good forbidden romance, complete with a sexy, cocky, smooth talking football player that you can't help but fall in love with, Most Likely To Score is definitely for you!

I loved this charming, steamy, forbidden romance! Jones and Jillian have worked together for the same football organization for years. They have also been attracted to each other all that time. Neither has acted on that attraction, always being totally professional, well at least Jillian was. Sexy wide receiver Jones was always outrageous, trying to get Jillian to go out with him. But now Jones needs to clean up his reputation. He and publicist wiz, Jillian, work closely on a project to help with that. They soon are unable to deny their fiery attraction. But when they have to keep it a secret, it takes a toll on them both. Jones and Jillian are both wonderful characters that are caring, thoughtful and fun. I loved them both along with their loving, and supportive family and friends. Ms. Blakely creates mature, witty characters who are socially conscious, work hard, and play even harder. Their world is a place I love to visit and feel apart of. This is a heartwarming, fun and sexy romance that you will want to read again and again!

'I’m going to need a whole new playbook to get this woman’s attention.'
Jones Beckett has had the hots for his team’s publicist for a while but he’s finding that his usual charms aren’t working on her. Like most women in America, Jillian Moore has had a crush on Jones since they first met but she’s pretty sure she’s not this star football player’s type, especially seeing the types of women he’s often seen all over social media with. Jones needs someone to help him clean up his image in order to land some sponsorship deals and Jillian needs someone to star in a charity calendar to help land her a big promotion, so it’s a no-brainer for them to work together. The more time they spend together, Jillian is pleasantly surprised to discover that there’s so much more to Jones than the party-loving, playboy he’s portrayed himself as. He’s actually super thoughtful, kind, and caring and when she learns that he also wants her, she is unable to resist. But despite how good they are together, both of their careers are at stake if their relationship is found out. Is what they’ve found with each other worth risking everything for?
“You are absolutely getting lucky tonight.”
He pumps a fist. “Then I’d say I’ve scored.”
Lauren Blakely has most definitely scored with this story! It was funny, charming, sweet, and sexy, everything that I’ve come to love from a Lauren Blakely book. Jillian was a great heroine, she was driven and independent and was not afraid to go after what she wanted. Jones was a lovable goofball with a heart of gold. I loved seeing beneath his playboy image and learning how much he loved his family and helping others. And as if that wasn’t enough, throw in a handful of cute animals and you’ve got quite the swoon-fest! I loved the teasing and flirty banter between these two in the early parts of the book and then how sweet they were together when they finally gave into their feelings. I also enjoyed the forbidden romance aspect, it really did make you worry about how they would work things out. There was a little bit of angst due to that, but it wasn’t anything too crazy, keeping the overall feel of the book light and fun. I hope there are more stories about these Renegades because between Cooper in Most Valuable Playboy and Jones in this book, I’m really loving these guys!

Reading a Lauren Blakely novel is always a good time. She pens these fantastic contemporary romances that have a good balance of swoons and humor that I just eat right up. Most Likely to Score is all that and more.
Most Likely to Score is about Jones Beckett, the star receiver of the Renegades, and Jillian Moore, the Renegades's publicist. We met both in Most Valuable Playboy (the first book in the author's connected standalone sports romances) where we learned that Jones has a thing for the brilliant publicist. In Most Likely to Score, we find out that Jillian has been crushing hard on Jones for a long time, but ever the professional she kept that locked up tight. Jillian has learned early on in her career never to mix business with pleasure. Neither was aware of the other's feelings. While Jones takes every opportunity to flirt with Jillian, to her that's just how Jones operates--he's a very friendly, amiable guy and she enjoys their banter. Besides, Jones's new sponsorship deals depend on him cleaning up his past playa reputation and Jillian is just the person to help him out. Starring in Jillian's new pet project, a charity calendar, is a step in the right direction for Jones. But, as the two of them work and travel together for the photoshoots, the harder it is to keep a lid on their feelings for each other.
Okay, you know that part in the synopsis that goes "And oh hell, did Jillian ever drag her nails down my back on one hell of a hot night. Okay fine, it was several hot nights on the road." That actually didn't happen until past the halfway point in the novel. The first half were Jillian and Jones getting to really know each other. Even though they'd worked together for a long time as player and publicist they realized there's a lot they don't know about each other. Like, the fact that they're both very family oriented people. But, the more they get to know each other and spend time together, the more their feelings grow and trying to keep things strictly professional between them become harder and harder. When they finally get together, all their pent up lust and feelings made for, as the synopsis says, "one hell of a hot night."
Jones may be is my new favorite Lauren Blakely hero. He was the perfect mix of flirty, charming, and alpha. He's kind and caring and he loves his family and want to take care of them, and he loves animals. Plus, he's a sexy football player to boot! As for Jillian, if I can't be her then I want to be her best friend. She's smart, confident, she's brilliant at her job and has the respect of her co-workers (including the players), loves clothes, she's really close to her widowed dad, and I love the fact even though she was adopted from China when she was a baby and considers herself a California girl, she embraces her Chinese culture. Jones and Jillian were great characters individually, and together their chemistry was piping HOT.
Lauren Blakely did an excellent job with this slow burn forbidden romance. I thought it was paced wonderfully. I liked the sweet moments between Jones and Jillian in the first half of the book, all the while their repressed feelings for each other simmered beneath the surface. If a slow burn forbidden romance with the perfect amount of humor and swoons is your cup of tea, I highly recommend you pick up Most Likely to Score.
Having read other books by Lauren Blakely before, I knew that her stories are always filled with great characters and Most Likely To Score didn’t disappoint at all. From the sexy cover to the intriguing synopsis, Blakely delivered a great forbidden romance between a sports star and the team’s publicists. At the beginning of the story we get to meet Jillian Moore, a publicist whose only goal right now is to focus on her career and nothing else. Though she gets to see extremely good looking players all the time, she is able to put work first before anything else and that’s exactly how she earns the respect of everyone in the team/field. But Jillian has been keeping a secret crush on one of the players for a while now and the fact that he seemed to always flirt with her could get them both in trouble. When she needs someone to be part of a photoshoot she asks him for his help, but it’s the sexual tension and chemistry between them that ultimately brakes all the barriers. It is after spending time together that they truly get to know each other and their feelings turn into so much more.
Jones Beckett is a pro at what he does, he is a good in the field and he also happens to be good with the ladies. He has a reputation of being a womanizer, but those days are long over after the team’s publicists steps in to help him revamp his image. Despite working together there is something about Jillian that Jones can’t seem to stay away from. Every time he tries to make a move on her, she completely shots him down, but he is determined to win her over one way or another. But it’s after spending a couple of nights together that he finds himself feeling so much more for her than he imagined and now he has to figure out how to keep her before it’s too late.
I really liked the characters in the story, Jones is funny and charming. On the other hand, Jillian is a total workaholic who happens to have a cute crush on a really hot player. Their personalities compliment each other so well and their chemistry was sizzling! Jones is a truly sweet guy and he shows that throughout the book. But eventually their work is what tests them and they have to decide if pursuing a relationship is worth it knowing that risk of losing their jobs. Although that is the major obstacle that they have to face, there is really not a lot of drama or conflict in the story. I felt that the story was missing something to take it to the next level. I still enjoyed reading the ending, it was sweet and will most definitely leave you wanting for more. I would highly recommend reading this book and others by the author you will not regret it. ;)

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and Reviews
A fun, sexy and sweet romance; I loved Jones and Jillian!
I’m a big fan of this author and since meeting Jones in Most valuable playboy, I was looking forward to reading his story.
Jones Beckett is a player on and off the field with a reputation that does him no favours and to get any lucrative sponsorship deals; he’ll need to clean up his image. He’s a serious flirt but no matter what he says of does, he never gets a reaction out of the team’s publicist Jillian, she seems to be the only woman on the planet immune to his charms.
Jillian loves her job as the publicist for an NFL team and is excellent at it. It’s hard looking at hot athletes for a living and not being able to touch them but she has her rules and she sticks to them. For years her relationship with all the plays has been platonic which hasn’t been easy as she’s had a major crush on Jones for nearly as long as she’s worked with him so she indulges in viewing his photos in private.
Jones and Jillian are forced to work more closely when she’s given the task of helping to clean up his image through social media and the project involves travelling to various animal shelters to take photos of Jones with adorable puppies and kittens. While on location in Miami, the chemistry between them explodes into a night of passion but they both agree that when they return home it can’t happen again.
Once home, Jones and Jillian both struggle with their feeling for each other and find it hard to keep their relationship platonic but with Jillian’s reputation and Jones’ sponsorship on the line, will the player most likely to score, succeed in scoring the woman of his dreams?
I really enjoyed this story. Jones was confident, sexy, fun and flirty and Jillian was smart, sassy and independent and they were adorable together. The banter between them was fun to read and the story flowed effortlessly from beginning to end and I would definitely recommend this story.

Jillian Moore needs a face for her charity calendar idea. Jones Beckett needs to clean up his image to keep sponsors happy. Working together, they each get what they need professionally, but a trip together crosses lines that have them questioning the possibility of more.
They started as friends. As Jillian represents the team’s PR department, she and Jones often work together for media appearances. As they work together, a friendship builds full of fun banter and teasing.
Jillian is going places with her career. She is sharp, has an eye for what she wants, and is not afraid to take risks. Her character has several surprise elements that made her even more unique. She is not just another pretty face. But some of her unique qualities are the same things that keep her from being able to see Jones’s interest in her as more than friendship.
Jones is one of those characters that is easy to love. He works hard on the field, but he also takes care of those around him. He hasn’t forgotten all the sacrifices his parents made to give him the life he has, and now that he has the means, is always looking for ways he can make things easier on them. I fell for him hard and fast, and as he interacted with Jillian more, my infatuation grew.
I loved that Jillian and Jones fought their feelings for each other to avoid messing with the friendship and professional relationships they already had established. I’m a big fan of friends to lovers because I love watching the feelings build before things get overly physical. These two were great flirts and kept things interesting as they began to consider the complications of more.
Lauren Blakely has developed a football team with both a family atmosphere and an edge of competition. These men work together and work hard, but they also play hard off the field. Each man also has his own personality and I love that there are some quirky characters in the bunch.

After having read Most Valuable Playboy I couldn't wait to get my hands on this novel!! This was such an enjoyable and oh so entertaining read!! My emotions were all over the place and I wasn't sure what was going to happen with these characters. It kept me guessing, laughing, and smiling throughout. I liked that there were hurdles for the two main characters to get through. I was surprised quite a couple times while reading which made me enjoy it even more. I really dug the forbidden aspect to it as well.
Jones and Jillian's story wasn't an easy one. He's a football player and she's the publicist for his team. Throw in how the attraction is undeniably between them and you've got the definition of complicated. I had no idea if they'd take the risk or not.
Oh how I adored these two!! Their banter was priceless and their friendship warmed my heart. I admired the determination they had when it came to their jobs.
Ms.Blakely always creates some of the sexiest novels filled with a lot of heart and humor that may bring tears to your eyes from laughter. Most Likely To Score is my new favorite novel of hers. It was such a unique kind of sports romance too.
*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book. Thank you InkSlinger PR & Ms.Blakely!* (:

We’ve met Jones and Jillian in Most Valuable Playboy. There was strong tension between them in that book so I was very excited to finally read their story. I have liked every single one of Lauren’s couples and Jones and Jillian were no different. J&J(as I call them) were adorable and full of fun. Theirs was a forbidden romance as they both worked together. But they just couldn’t shake the mutual attraction and the undeniable chemistry between them. It was gonna give eventually and when it did, it was awesome. Their interactions and banter were full of humor and fun but were also sweet and sexy. They were just perfect together and I enjoyed seeing that. It was great reading about their relationship progressing as the story went on. Lauren also gave us more depth into both Jones and Jillian. Seeing how they loved and cared for their families and also charitable endeavors showed just how big their hearts were and that they were the best people. What will become of Jones and Jillian and their jobs with their forbidden love? It was wonderful to find out. Lauren always gives the awesome combination of fun, sweet, and sexy. I enjoyed every moment of Most Likely to Score. Lauren gives the best love story as well as the best characters. An awesome heartfelt read!

Most Likely to Score is a wonderful sports romance. I loved Jillian’s character! Her determination to succeed at her job, her loyalty and love to her family and her need to hold onto some of the traditions of her heritage that her mother wanted her to understand. Jones was a mix of confidence in his abilities on and off the field, his love and loyalty to his family(just like Jillian) and a soft side that very few understood or even got to see. They have a lot in common and amazing chemistry that just set the pages on fire, but once they both truly realize that their love was worth more than any obstacle that could be thrown in their way, nothing was going to stop them from letting the world know.

This was a cute story. Jillian and Jones worked together and that was their biggest obstacle to finding love, but they were able to overcome it. The sex scenes were hot and I’d caution people reading this book in public because they were steamy enough to have me shifting in my seat. My biggest complaint about this book was there were times that I felt there was more telling going on than showing. I want to see the characters do something rather than be told they did it. Despite that complaint, this was a solid book and I enjoyed reading it.

This delightful story of romance and comedy was a nice and enjoyable read! Jilian and Jones are of those couples you can't help but root for, with their antics and inner thinking! I like Lauren Blakely and the freedom she gives in her characters to be funny, sexy and smart in any case.

What a great read! Fun, flirty and absolutely sexy! Jones Becket and Jillian Moore work together, him a star football player and she is the teams publicist. They have been flirting for years, she didn't think she was his type and he thought she wasn't into him. Their chemistry is amazing and defiantly starts to sizzle the note time they spend together.

I love Jillian and Jones for more reasons then they loved animals, but they were both so adorable.
Since we previously met them in Most Valuable Playboy, I knew I would not be able to put this one down. I respected both of them for being able to put the brakes on where sex was concerned. They showed a lot of self control so Jillian's job was not in jeopardy.
This is a great love story that I highly recommend.

OMG I loved this book and the story between Jones and Jillian and how they got together also good that Jillian got to know Jones for himself and not what he does on the field and to see he is a very great and kind heart and Jones got to know Jillian as well and find out that she is a great woman too and glad they got together in the end and are getting married. Thanks for an amazing book and Lauren is an awesome book

Jones Beckett is a wide receiver for the NFL Renegades. A pro-baller with big hands, a big heart, but a bad reputation that needs a reboot. After his former agent gambled away a large chunk of his career paycheck, Jones was passed over for sponsorship deals that could have been a stepping stone to his future beyond the NFL. Jones became a PR cleanup job that puts Jillian in his sights. If he wanted to turn his career around and finally get the deals that pay for his parents and siblings future he needs to clean up his act. Keeping his social status clean is not a problem. Keeping Jillian off his mind now that is a problem he doesn't have an answer for.
Jillian Moore always knew Jones had a big heart off the field, he just had bad judgement when it came to his social life. Working as a publicist for the NFL Renegades Jones became her special project when it was time to clean up his act. The smallest problem was, she'd always had a bit of a crush on the wide receiver. Sure she respected him, she respected all of the team members and took pride in her job, but she found Jones just a teeny, tiny bit more alluring than she did anyone else. Okay there was nothing teeny or tiny about the man, but she also didn't abuse the power of her job, she was always professional, but sometimes she didn't want to be.
When Jillian and Jones are forced to work closely together Jillian learns there is more to the man than just big hands. Jones is funny, generous with his time, and caring beyond measure. She had suspected he always had a big heart, but nothing had prepared her for him opening his heart and letting her inside. Jillian was a professional and her job was to clean the man up, it was an almost impossible task when all she wanted to do was strip him down and get dirty with him.
The closer the two become the harder it is not to toe the line. Both of them have a lot at risk. Jones needs a clean image to land a sponsorship deal and sleeping with the very woman who is trying to polish him up would land him back right where he began. Jillian knows the follies in a male dominated sporting world. One wrong step and she would lose all the respect she's worked so hard to gain. It's so hard to do the "right thing" when being together feels like the right path to begin with. There has to be a way for them to make things work or is doing the right thing walking away from the only thing that feels right.
I loved the chemistry, friendship, charm, and slow burn of this book. By the time Jones and Jillian finally do ignite I think I had to remove some layers of clothes because I was burning up in my frosty, cold, winter house. Blakely also didn't stop there. She kept adding coals to the fire and holy, sweet, hotness...(fanning myself) So, aside from the sexy, the book is just darn good. Animal lovers will adore all the animals mentioned. Jones is animal whisperer and for a big guy he owns a small dog. Love it!!! For a feel good, well written, ignite your fires book, Most Likely to Score is a must read.

Most Likely to Score is Lauren Blakely's new forbidden romance. It's a standalone but we met these characters in Most Valuable Playboy. I love a great forbidden romance and add in some football and it's a winning combo. Lauren knows how to write sexy, fun, sweet and alpha men. Every time I meet a new Blakely hero I can't believe I love him as much, if not more than the one before him! I loved Cooper, I did. But Jones just does it for me. He's perfection. He's the perfect mix of sweet and sour, soft and hard, fast and slow, dirty and loving. I couldn’t get enough of his mouth or his hands. He's has a thing for the team publicist, Jillian, for a while, but he can't risk mixing business and pleasure when he's trying to clean up his playa reputation. But, that doesn’t stop him from flirting with her. A lot. Jillian isn't going to fall for Jones's charms even though she's been crushing on him for a long time. The flirty banter, sexy looks and funny one liners are all in fun. Right? Maybe not… Jillian needs one of her players to help with a charity calendar and Jones is just the mane for the job. He's sexy, funny, an animal lover and the camera loves him. Jones isn't losing out in this deal though. He's getting Jillian and all her PR glory to help him mend his bad boy ways. He's not really the player the world thinks he is. After spending time alone together, Jillian sees the real Jones. He's sweet, caring, giving and turns out he does have a type and it's not skinny blondes. Jones knows he should keep his hands off her, but he can't help himself anymore. He's been attracted to her for too long and it's time to take action. When they find themselves alone on a business trip, they throw the playbook out the window and engage in a few nights of hot, sweaty sexiness. But it's not enough for Jones. He wants more of this beauty with her Asian heritage, love of luck and gorgeous hair. They promise it's over. It was just a few nights, but after they are home they can't stop thinking about their nights together. It was more for both of them and it's torture being apart. Can they take the chance and be together? Will they ruin the careers they've worked so hard for? I can't even express how much I love these characters. Jones is everything. Seriously. He so sweet and I swooned every time he spoke to Jillian. He's just the right amount of dirty to turn you on, then sweet to keep you there. He loves kids and animals and he's not afraid to show his soft gooey center. Jillian is bada. She's fantastic at her job, and loves her family. She knows how to do sexy business attire, lucky earrings and confidence. Together they are fun, sexy, silly and their banter is perfection. I laughed, cried, had to fan myself, swooned and laughed some more. I also need some damn cherry pie. Jones and Jillian are one of my favorite Blakely couples!
"You can look at me now. I'm fair game."
"Take your clothes off, please. I'm begging you."
I want her hands on me. I want her owning my body. I want her to know that she's the only one I want touching me.
"Woman, if you didn't tell your best friend about me, I'd have been devastated. The fact that you told her makes me weirdly, stupidly happy."
"It's tasty," he says.
I bet he's tasty.
"You can look at me now. I'm fair game."
"Take your clothes off, please. I'm begging you."
I want her hands on me. I want her owning my body. I want her to know that she's the only one I want touching me.

Jones and Jillian are the two most memorable characters this year! Lauren Blakely will always rein queen of Rom Com with these books. Most Likely to Score was hilariously sexy! If you read Most Valuable Playboy, you will remember we met these two there. I was excited that we get to read a story between these two!
I knew Jones & Jillian were a match well met. Jillian was trying to stay away and with Jones being so persistent, her walls may start crumbling down. There is one little secret that Jillian is hiding and uses it well behind closed doors.
The shenanigans that Jones gets into and the will the Jillian uses to put him in his place will have you laughing hard out loud! I love Lauren and her books! Most Likey To Score will have your cheeks hurting from smiling so much. You will swoon over Jones. Jillian is a heroine that you will love!

I’m in LOVE. Yes, with capitals. Lauren Blakely always leaves me in awe with her books, and I should learn she’s just putting better and better books on my plate, yet I still can’t cope with this amazing book hangover she left me with this story. It’s the greatest feeling a book lover can have.
No one writes romance like Lauren Blakely. Funny moments, oh-so-sexy times, deep-deep emotions. She has the talent of giving her book a heart. And you sure bet your buttom she did gave this one a big freaking one!
I don’t think I’ve ever loved a couple so much like I love Jones and Jillian. They’re perfect for each other. And I loved the interactions between them! This relationship had a natural flow, nothing plastic, just pure, raw emotions.
Lauren Blakely’s books make you want to sit down and read them on a roll. It’s like the best kind of addiction. I never wanted this book to end, but apparently, it had to, so I’m just full of joy I had the chance to read it!

Most Likely To Score, Lauren Blakely's latest offering has something for everyone: a sexy professional athlete, a beautiful and powerful PR executive, a forbidden office romance that will make your heart melt.......It's the perfect rom-com and it will have you swooning hard over her latest hero, sexy as sin Jones Beckett. With every Blakely book I read, I fall head over heels in love with the hero. You'd think that these perfect characters she dreams up couldn't get any better but each time I crack open the next book ***BAM*** the newest hero trumps the last one. Jones Beckett most definitely owns me! Blakely is known for her swoony men but Jones takes it to the next level. He's a cocky, confident and sexy athlete but beyond that, he's romantic and has the biggest which is on display in the most unexpected ways. He's dedicated to his family and loyal to his teammates but his reputation as a "playa" is about to hinder his future success. Enter Jillian who is tasked with helping to rehab his image as part of her team PR duties. She's a go-getter who gets things done! She's successful and hard working, independent, strong and loyal. What sets her apart from Blakely's other fabulous heroines is what an important role her family and their history has played in her life. I loved her stories about connecting to her heritage through her good luck charms--the connection to her mother was beautiful.
Watching Jones and Jillian interact in Most Valuable Playboy had me completely intrigued. There were sparks there but in Most Likely to Score, those sparks burn brighter and brighter. As Jillian gets to know the "real" Jones beyond just what her job entails her to know, she realizes that he is that diamond in the rough that everyone looks for---the holy grail of men that all women strive to attain---the forbidden fruit in Eve's Garden. And once she has a taste of that forbidden fruit? (Do I really need to answer that??? LOL) And on his end, Jones sees Jillian for the prize that she is and he can't seem to stay away no matter how hard he tries, forbidden relationship be damned.
I loved the development of Jones and Jillian's relationship. It was natural and fun and it was easy to see and feel their connection jump off of the pages. Their sexy times were super sexy and the fact that they are both dirty talkers? Sooooooo H-O-T!!!! We all know that Lauren Blakely writes the greatest love scenes so you can expect the best of the best between these two!
In the world of Blakely's books, she creates primary and secondary characters that readers wish they could be friends with in real life. Aside from Jones and Jillian, I loved getting to know Jones's brother Trevor, Ford, Harlan and Katie (who I hope really get a book next!). And I can't leave out Cletus who most definitely stole the show in his scenes. Most Likely to Score is a standalone story but interconnected with Most Valuable Playboy. You do not need to read Most Valuable Playboy prior to reading this book but please don't miss that one---it was just as incredible!
Most Likely to Score is a definite 5-star touchdown that shouldn't be missed!

This is an absolutely amazing book!! I adore Jones & Jillian so much! They have chemistry that is through the roof! I love how he messes with her during his photo shoot and I love how they both have the hots for each other but they don’t know it! That makes for some fun internal dialogues during the alternate POVs which I love!! Of course getting together would not be very smart or ideal since she is the publicist for his team and she is supposed to be helping to change his image. But then who ever said being smart is the best option?
The storyline was fantastic as always and it had just the right amount of all the special ingredients we expect from Lauren’s books!
And those epilogues, well they were just crazy wonderful!!

What happens when you take Lauren Blakely, angst, sexual tension and a forbidden romance??
You get her new standalone novel. Most Likely To Score is her newest novel. I thought it was an enjoyable read and definitely one for those readers who love angst and forbidden romances.
I thought, just like I did with Most Valuable Playboy, that this is a drama free beach read. Perfect for one of those days you just want to relax and immerse yourself in a swoony romance. And that is EXACTLY what this story is….SWOONY!!!! This book will have you smiling throughout the whole story. That is mostly because of Jones Beckett. He is a character you just can’t help falling in love with.
I loved his personality and his love for animals. He made my heart melt ;) Now that’s not to say I didn’t like Jillian, but I really felt like Jones made this story for me.
I also thought that there was just the perfect mix of football and romance to this story. Nothing overpowered anything. I thought this book was very well written.
Most Likely To Score is Lauren’s latest standalone novel and is told in Dual POV. We did meet these characters in Most Valuable Playboy, but it is not necessary for you to read that book first. In this story we follow Jones Beckett, a wide receiver for an NFL team, and Jillian Moore, a PR rep for his football team. Jones has made kind of a bad name for himself in the public eye and Jillian is sent in to try to correct that. But what happens when you end up falling for the person who is supposed to be off limits?? Will Jones and Jillian be willing to put everything on the line for each other?? Or will they go their separate ways?? Read this fun and swoony romance to find out.
We do meet some more of the Renegades football team and we get to know a few more a little better. I look forward to reading some of their stories in the future. I would’ve liked to see Cooper and Violet a little more in this story, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book.
So if you are a fan of a football themed forbidden romance story that will leave you smiling, you need to read this book. As I have said in the past, you always know you are in for an enjoyable read when it is written by Lauren Blakely. You don’t want to miss out on this angst filled gem!!!!

I’ve read a ton of Lauren Blakely’s contemporary romances over the past year or so, and they were all beginning to blend together to me. If you’ve read cocky alpha male character, you’ve read them all, right? Well, not really, but I was starting to feel that way about her books. I hated that because I love, love, love Lauren Blakely’s writing and humor. She’s one of my go-to writers for romantic comedies. I was really curious to how I was going to feel about Jones, the hero of Most Likely to Score. I liked what I got to know of him in Most Valuable Playboy, so I was hoping he was going to break the mold and get me back on my Lauren Blakely kick.
Jones Bennett totally did! That guy was so much fun! He was the traditional cocky football stud, but he had so much heart. His love for his family and animals was so cool. So was his respect for Jillian and her job. Jones was an all around good guy who knew what mattered in life. His point of view was so much fun to read!
I can’t leave out Jillian. I’m so happy we got her side of the story in Most Likely to Score. Some of Blakely’s heroines don’t get to share their thoughts, and I’m so thankful Jillian got to share hers. She was a little bit uptight, but it was all about focus for her. Jillian knew what she wanted out of life, and she went for it. Her determination was admirable — even when she broke her own rules for a certain someone. My most favorite thing about her, though, was her adoption story. She was adopted as a baby from China. That really hit home with me because I had several friends growing up who were adopted as babies from Asian countries. I’ve heard so much about their experiences, and it was fun finding those experiences in a book character.
Jillian and Jones’ love affair was really cute. They both had reasons to stay away from each other, but I loved that they didn’t. I adored their attraction and then their connection. There were so many sweet moments between the two of them. They were so perfect for each other. I loved how their relationship and story worked out.
Most Likely to Score is my newest favorite Lauren Blakely book. I hope she continues to write more sports romances (Can I get one for Jillian and Jones’ friends, please?). I would love to see this two book series become an even longer one.

Please RateMost Likely to Score
When we first met Jones and Jillian in the novel, Most Valuable Playboy, even from those brief scenes sparks were already flying between these two characters. So to have a novel focused entirely on their relationship had me jumping for joy.
I love how smart, bold, and passionate Jillian is. She knows her mind and once she makes a decision, she acts. She also is a good person who loves her family, her friends and her work. She is a strong and admirable heroine and it is very easy to like her as you're reading the story. The same can be said for Jones.
A good man with a big heart. Him and his little mutt (Chihuahua, Min Pin, and Dachschund mix) Cletus (plus Jones with all the other rescue animals like Smoky) are hard to resist. He definitely wins the award for best swoon-worthy hero for 2018 in my book. His commitment to his family, team, and four-legged friends is praiseworthy and makes him such a charming hero.
Trying to fix is image and garner more contracts, sponsors, and advertising deals, Jones knows he needs to keep his personal life on the up and up. No scandals. This is especially true when the woman he's very much attracted to becomes his personal publicist, not just the team's. Will close proximity to each other bring Jones and Jillian closer or will it lead to a fallout that both have been trying to avoid.
Overall, Most Likely to Score is an absolute delight and a must read. Filled with humor, warmth, and love this novel is one I most happily recommend. I can't wait to read more especially about Harlan and Katie. Another great novel by Lauren Blakely.
