Literally every time I went to turn my kindle off another chapter sounded good, and another and another till I was nodding off the last two chapters. I'm thinking I'll need to reread those last two chapters again.
I usually refuse to spend that much for a book preferring to wait for paperback but just couldn't. There are only three authors I will spend that much on but still took a bit to convince myself Rule Breaker was worth the extra $$.
This one was hard to follow with all the plots and people involved and found myself either back tracking or skipping over after awhile. The ending seemed kind of off including Thea showing up out of blue to be the shooter of bad guy.
Glad I bought it, wish I got some sleep before a full day but hope either not as much time or not so many sub plot so not as difficult to follow..
That being said can't wait to see who next breed bites the dust.

Predictable, the story started off slow and it took me a week to read this book, when usually I read one of the Breed's book in a day. I couldn't get into the story although I know all the parts were related, it was like reading numerous subplots.

I ordered my first book online from Ellora's Cave 10 years ago and have been a fan of Leigh since. However, it seems this series has lost the fire she had with the first 20 or so books. After Lion's Heat, Leigh has lost her heart for the breeds.
I am not going to give a synopsis of the book as so many people do. If you read the book you'll get the story. You want know if the book is worth buying...yes, this book is worth purchasing if your a fan or not. She is looking the passion I felt in previous books in this series since Lion's Heat.

I loved it. There were so many questions answered and more to come. I love the romance and the tragedy she puts in her books. The stories keep you on the edge of your seats. Can't wait for the next one.

I love this series. Have read every book and always regret reading the final chapter, because I know it will be another year to wait for the next book. Thanks for writing a series that reinforces that good people and Breeds can with hard work and close bonds can live through anything. GOOD TO KNOW.

Awesome read! Couldn't put it down. Gypsy broke my heart in the beginning and they the book with her pain she carried. But Rule was a force to be reckoned with and determined to have her. Loved this book! Can't wait for next in the series!

I have read this series for years and look forward to each new book in the series. This story of Rule Breaker was worth reading but what I really want to read is more about Dane, Cassandra Sinclair and some of the more pivotal people and breeds we have been reading snippets of their lives.throughout the series. The world of the breeds is truly exciting but the recent books have been too predictable. The series needs some freshness and new life to continue. I love the premise and hope it does continue just in a different unexpected manner.

LOVED THIS BOOK!!! This book was written as a stand alone but if you have never read any of the breed series then you need to start at the first book. You will be lost if you try this one first. This book was like some of the earlier breed books a must read didn't want to put it down!!!

I have had my problems with reading Lora leigh books. I love her stories and anxiously awaiting Dr. Armani's story because I truly believe her mate is going to be Brimstone...I hope it is awesomely hot to read. I am just not happy with the whole the Jonas's baby is sick and dying. The books were wonderful to read at the beginning of the series now it is getting dark and I just want the awesomeness to come back.

The more Lora Leigh writes about the breeds the better they get. The first book I thought was ok but they only got better. I really like to see how these wonderful characters live their lives while working for the common goal of remaining free and safe in a world that very well could commit the atrocities written in the books of fiction. They keep you riveted from start to finish. More breed novels please.

Aaaahhhh.....
Something a little different. Something all the same
An animal, a man and a woman. Blended to be a union
One. The animal is more prominent in the this man/Breed
More animal than man at times
But the animal also protects the silly man. No running from his mate, till it is too late to run

Yes, I complained about the price. I just believe ebooks should top out about $7.99 per copy, but that is just my belief. I complained about the plot summary by the store, thinking it sounded very much like one of her other books. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that "Rule Breaker" rates right up there with Ms. Leigh's earlier works. (Seems like she had a better editor on this one.)
But the names, Gypsy Rum McQuade, Kandy Sweet McQuade, Hansel and Greta McQuade. I laughed at them until I got into the book. Then that just faded away into a good read.
