As a current college student, I recommend this for ANYONE needing help getting a jump on financial responsibility. I love the confidence this program gives you to take control and fix any current financial problems you have, or fix and avoid any future financial issues! Straight forward, in your face and easy to follow. I also recommend taking this in a class setting, where you can hear real-life success stories and share your journey with others!

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to get out of debt or wanting to organize their financial life by creating a budget and setting goals.
It was easy to listen to Dave Ramsey, he's funny and thoughtful. Everything made sense to us and we did the program independently, there were local groups having classes but we couldn't commit due to our evening schedules...

Bought this book as a hard cover replacement for current 9 week FPU workshop - it is not the same book used in the workshop. Similar info but workshop follows a specific set of lessons that this book didnt coordinate with.

2 years ago I attended a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University (FPU) that our church was hosting, and I must say I was impressed with Dave's presentation and knowledge. This "Financial Peace University Membership Kit" contains the same information as the FPU contains. The main differences are that when you take FPU through a church course, you get to watch Dave's presentations on video, and you also get to interact with a group of people all working through similar financial problems.

Dave Ramsey has become famous, has his own syndicated radio program, and has sold thousands of books for three reasons. First, he has a lot of practical, biblical wisdom to offer on family finances. He also writes with great clarity and force. Finally, Dave has a great sense of humor: he manages to bring in anecdotes and humorous perspectives without these getting in the way of his fundamental and valuable message.

For a lot of people out there, the information in this Membership Kit is worth its price many times over. Most people come away from the course having gotten rid of several thousands of dollars of debt. I highly recommend Dave Ramsey's materials, which you can get in basically 3 ways. If you're highly self-motivated, you might be able to get by with his book, "Financial Peace Revisited," which is easily worth its price alone. If you like going through things at your own pace, but need more information and in a variety forms, then this Membership Kit is a good choice. But perhaps best of all would be to take Financial Peace University at a local church so you can get the full program (which usually costs only as much as the Membership Kit itself but allows for group interaction as mentioned above).

This was supposed to be in good condition with little markings. It's a workbook and all pages minus 5 were completely filled in by someone. This was misrepresented by the seller and disappointing. A few pages would have been acceptable but not almost all if them! It also took the longest to ship if any item I've purchased from the store.
The cover and the pages were in very good shape.

Was a little disappointed in that the hardback book that came with it is different from the current book being used. I am enrolled in a local FPU but my friend wasn't able to attend so I purchased this for her. But it's not the exact same material.

Very informative a great product for your whole family.This CD set is very useful you can listen at home or in car..I usually listen in car and the book is well written as you learn how to get your financial life on track.

Wonderful lessons but this version did not coincide with the class we took. Still very valuable lessons but there was writing in the book and I wish I would have known there were different versions before I bought it.

This has great ideas however do not see it working with someone, single especially single with family on min wage and less than 40 hours a week. He can say it will but until you live it you truly do not know.
