Breanna Miller has always been known as the freakishly smart good girl. She's determined to be less invisible during her senior year before fleeing Snowflake, Kentucky but she never considered being noticed would change her life in so many ways.

Thomas 'Razor' Turner is one of the more volitale young members of the Reign of Terror MC. Devilishly handsome, fiercely protective and intelligent, he's also haunted by the death of his mother and a slew of unanswered questions.

Fate brings these two together. Breanna's in need of a protector and she also might be the only person who can help Razor solve the puzzle of his mother's death. When an intensely intimate but rather innocent moment between the two is photographed, Breanna is blackmailed and seeks Razor's help but as these two spend more time together, their feelings grow. Both 'walk the edge' between who they are and who they want to be.

I'm a huge Katie McGarry fan and Walk the Edge doesn't disappoint with action, suspense and memorable characters. The novel is a the perfect blent of edgy, realistic fiction and romance but balances relevant real-life issue such as identity, grief, suicide, and social media threats to one's reputation. Definitely for ages 14 and up due to language, some violence and sexual situations. I've already added Razor to my neverending book boyfriend list. He's an intense, dangerous bad boy but loving, brave and protective of those he cares about. Each of the main characters grows throughout the story and overall, I loved the reading experience!

“I promise I’ll take care of you,” he whispers. “You’re safe with me.”
Even with an army of motorcycle guys outside that door, I firmly believe him.

It’s no secret I am a huge fan of the Thunder Road Series. After having read, Nowhere But Here I was immediately sucked into this world of motorcycle clubs and family drama. Maybe it’s because I grew up with a biker father who himself was a member of many clubs (some legit, some not so legit) but this story continues to capture my heart.

We pick up Walk The Edge not too long after the end of Nowhere But Here and this time the brooding and quiet Razor is the focus of the story. With emotional scars lingering from the mysterious death of his mother and compounding issues with his father, Razor is poised to combust. Then he meets the uber smart and responsible Breanna and let’s just say sparks fly.

Breanna is completely unlike Emily from Nowhere But Here and I think that’s why I liked her so much. She’s the responsible one, who never steps out of line, the glue that holds her massive family together, and she’s got a ton of heart. But she’s also nursing her own issues, the pressure her family puts on her to manage their large brood, the insults from her borderline unhinged older sister, and the fact that she has to try to hamper that she’s a borderline genius. That would take a toll on anyone, but Breanna handles it with grace.

When she has a chance meeting with Razor she’s scared (as most of the town is about RoT members), but there is no denying the underlining attraction. From there Breanna becomes the unwitting victim of a cyber bully and it crashes her and Razor together as they form a pact to help one another.

I have to say that the relationship between these two was so HOT. The simmering sexual tension was through the roof. I mean it gave me butterflies. If you thought Nowhere But Here was sexy this just blows it out of the water!!! I was so taken with these two social opposites and how tenderly they loved one another and fought to be together.

Beyond the relationship, this story had a lot going on from the mystery surrounding Razor’s mom’s death, the cyber bully issues that also plagued Violet (from Nowhere But Here), the drama with Breanna’s Family and Razor’s issues with his Dad, there was not a moment to catch my breath! And I have to say in regard to Razor and Breanna’s relationship I liked how authentic the outcome was (sorry no spoilers here). One of the best things about these stories is how Katie handles the complexities of family relationships, throw into that mix the dynamics of the club and it really provides for some powerful storytelling.

Of course all of our favorite characters made an appearance including Emily and Oz, and other members of the Reign of Terror (including some new ones).

This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I am so excited to see where book #3 goes, seems like it may focus on Violet & Chevy! These characters have endeared themselves to me so much and I love being in this world & can’t wait for more! Amazing 4.5/5 stars!

Well written, insightful, and full of love. I could not love the two main characters, Breanna and Razor, more than I did in this book. I could relate to both of them on so many levels. I've been that child forgotten in a family. I've been that child full of anger and in need of answers. I've been that child with the desire to belong, but in the end family is still family. I love that about this book. This was my first book by this particular author and it will not be my last. In fact, I already bought another one and am excited about digging into it. And this cover! I'm in love.

This is Razor and Breanna's story. They are completely lovable. Both of these characters were fully fleshed out, and I got completely lost in their lives. Their emotions were raw, and the romance was steamy, but not overboard. It's a rare second book that is better than the first in a series, but this one definitely is, in my opinion. And, I liked the first book quite a bit. So, that's saying something. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

There is just something enjoyable about this series. Even though it's about teenagers, it really doesn't feel like it. Breanna is one of many children, and often has to have a grown up role in her household. She's known for always doing the right thing? Always doing what is asked of her. Razor has grown up fast and hard. He's a member of the reign of terror. Their connection doesn't make a lot of sense, but it definitely works. I liked that we learned more about various members of the group, but their stories didn't overpower the main one. Looking forward to the next in this series

I loved the protective texts that Razor sends to his girl, "don’t look so terrified. He touches you and I’ll stick this dull steak knife through his skull." I really loved how sweet Razor could be, "his gaze travels my body and my cheeks burn hot. “Never forgotten for a second you’re a woman, but if you’re with me, you become a part of us.” I love Razor the man is just so honest, “I’ll never cheat,” he says in a tone that suggests I don’t question him. “I swear to God, if you’re with me, I’ll be faithful. I’m capable of a lot of things, but cheating’s not one of th

Ridiculously amazing. I was so skeptical to read Razor's story, because he does not seem like the kind of guy you want to get to know in Nowhere But Here, but boy was I wrong. Him and Bre's story is absolutely amazing and I wish there was more. If you're on the fence about continuing this series, get down, because this series only gets better! I highly recommend you start this series immediately, and begin counting down the days with me until we can finally read Violet's story in book three.

Breanna is the good girl, beyond a genius. So she should never fall for Razor/Thomas a boy/man from an MC. But she kind of wants to be different, she is sick of being 5/9 children. It's like she doesn't exist.

Until she breaks loose and Kyle from school blackmails her.

I didn't really see it all going the way it did. It wasn't as exciting as it could have been. It was actually kind of slow.

This book was amazing.im not surprised though because all of Katie McGarry's books are. I couldnt stop reading it. I really enjoyed the story and I think the characters developed throughout. My only complaint is the ending. I thought it was just too abrupt and I wish there would've been and epilogue or something. Other than that it was great. Will definitely be reading the book about violet!
