I really enjoyed this story and will likely read it again. The main characters are likeable and develop as the story evolves. The overall plot is formulaic but not in a bad way. It allows for enjoyment of the story without wondering about the outcome.

I really love this book and look forward to reading more novels from this Author. This book is a page turner and could not put it down. I have how she developed the characters and how they interacted with each other.

Gabriella has no interest in going to London for the Season, however her mother convinces her to make the best of things. Off she goes, and romance ensues.

As a lover of Georgette Heyer and the Regency time period, I love it when I discover someone else who writes a 'classic, traditional story like this. The characters are lovely, and the writing is done very well.

There were a few missing letters and punctuation, but over all, extremely well done.

If you love a clean, Regency romance, you won't go wrong with this one!

Clean & cute...but... While I do appreciate that it's not the same old same old love story, it was lacking. It's really wordy...the use of long drawn out and in some cases unnecessary descriptions where simple wording and more story content would have been best. I skimmed several paragraphs where there was no real story content and read only the actual conversation sentences. While I appreciate details, I felt they were mostly about the wrong things. However had all the unnecessary descriptions been left out it would have been a cute little novella.

A pleasant book but not one that reflects the realities of the Regency period. First names were rarely used, and even spouses often used titles or last names to refer to each other in public. Yet the hero and heroine make quite the point of calling each other Brie and Dexter. At least they are not caressing each other in public, something found in too many Regencies today.

I always enjoy reading a good regency romance. I enjoy that period of history and the comedy of manners. I wish the book had been longer. Yet I would recommend it to anyone else who likes regencies.
