I just discovered Robyn Peterman through this book & she rocks! I loved this book & going to get the rest in the series :-)
I busted out laughing many times, the characters are well described and the interactions are great! Thanks!

On magical parole and dealing with a familiar cat that has an unhealthy obsession with licking his gonads is a recipe for a funny story. It's full of the authors special brand of humour and out of this world imagination.

You can't go wrong with this book. I also recommend the Hot Damned Series from the author.

Got bored of reading long novels and decided to do some light reading. This book is completely irreverent, vulgar, and hilarious! The characters are uniquely insane. Reading doesn't always have to be serious. Have some fun! ?

Starting reading because it was free and it turned into a great surprise! It was a great read. Now I'm willing to pay for the next one just to stay in this world a little longer. Really enjoying myself!

The characters are larger than life yet believable and the story kept me turning the pages as fast as I could since I never knew what would happen next. Zelda is hormonal fabulous and outrageous as all good witches should be.

Very funny and engaging. Self absorbed young witch is put on probation and sent on a mission, but not told what that mission is.
The only problem I have with this story is it is my understanding that "honey badgers" are indigenous to Africa, NOT North America.
4 1/2 stars.

What a thoroughly enjoyable character Zelda the witch is...Robyn Peterman has created a character hard to forget. She's zany, wacky, and foul-mouthed. That's just to start of with. She's loveable, kind, and over-sexed, a definite fashionista...the storyline flows and before you know it your totally caught in her crazy adventure. Can't wait to read book 2.

Liked the story but the heroine's personality was too exaggerated. Also, Fabio's obsession was mentioned too much and totally inappropriate given who he turned out to be (saw that coming by the way). Probably won't continue this series.

Robyn Peterman Zahn is hilarious as a person, and her writing is no different. This book starts off a new series with a bang and I for one am excited to see whether Zelda can get exactly what she hopes for.

Typical of urban fantasy out there these days. Witch sent to remote town to work out her issues. All the witches these days seem to be red heads and since Davidson's success with her vampire queen they all seem to be shallow smart talking women with issues. Nothing really innovative here. The cat seemed interesting as a zombie cat, but nothing was really done with it. The romance was formula with few surprises

As usual Robyn Peterman writes the most amazing books. If strong language bothers you, you might want to skip her books. They are so funny I overlook the cursing. If fact I find a lot of it very inventive. She had some of the funniest books I have ever read. Everyone should try at least one. This new series is as fun and crazy as all the others. Robyn Peterman is an outstanding author.

Robyn has become my all time favorite author! While I love magical stories, Robyn's non- stop, laugh out loud humor makes reading her books a fun adventure! Since I tend to swear like a trucker at times, the dialogue is extra funny to me. So don't be a wanker! Get her books and have a lot of fun! Just be careful about reading them in public, because people are going to wonder if you're insane with the uncontrollable bursts of laughter brought on by reading Robyn's books!

It seems that magic and mayhem books, by different authors, are the books that I gravitate to the and enjoy the most. They're snarky, quirky, funny and have me laughing until I hurt. What fun this book was. Already bought #2 and am ready to get started on it.

So maybe I have a problem, a Robyn Peterman problem, but admitting it is the first step, yes? I bought this solely because of the author and to be honest, I'm not 100% sold that I was a 5-star rating on book 1. It is good, very good, and at least a 4.5. The story is fun, entertaining, and hilarious. I paused before ordering book 2 but I ordered it. Book 1 gets a 5-star because book 2 is at least a 5.5. But more on that one in that review.

Generally don't read books of this genre, but got it free so I thought I'd give it a shot cause there was a cat in it. I love cats. Sue me. I ended up enjoying the book a lot. If you're looking for a sassy, smart ass heroine, and cats, give this one a go.

Love shifter, witch and well any paranormal books. This is a nice change from the everyday reads - absolutely love that it is written as though real people were talking/thinking. If you are offended by 'bad words' this series will not be to your liking.

Thank you for the 3-Day Paranormal FB time that introduced me to your books and many many more authors!

This was a fun read, enjoyed the humor and magic. Was left a little flat needing more character definition and interaction. Loved her descriptions of the different shifters and witches. Felt I was speeding to finish rather than enjoying the ride.

A really fun book, with a smart mouthed, funny witch, a cat who's her familiar, who she also ran over, and a town full of all sorts of shifters. Put it all together and you have a wild, funny, fun ride!
