This is an excellent read for anyone looking to cultivate the traits of a winner in business and life. Donald Trump is one of the most insightful people on the planet. He cuts through the clutter on every type of business and personal issue and gets to the heart of what's really being said or done. Read this book for the broad insights, not just single how-to specifics.

He shows how you too can cultivate the same successful traits he has been blessed with. For those Donald detractors - realize that his ego is a big part of who he is and is what drives him (and all other overachievers). Just get over it and learn.

This book was ok. I didn't really see the need after the previous books. Many of the information was vague and simply didn't really teach much the way Trump's previous books did. I recommned this book to read quickly. Then move onto his other books. They are more enjoyable with a more to gain.

I did pick up a couple of tib-bits and a few interesting facts from this book. You too will learn a lot about "The Donald" and how a billion-aire thinks, and when you're a billion-aire you can think like one. Don't expect to become a billion-aire by reading this book, but if you're really lucky you might become a hundred-aire.

The information in this book is not worth the recycled paper it is printed on! The book is full of pretentious pictures of Trump with his gold digging girlfriend, along with worthless articles on where to shop for the best Ice Cream, Men's Shoes, and Neckties. Not quite sure how that information benefits people living outside of New York City, or how it pertains to building wealth, but it is clear that this book is not going to help anyone build wealth expect for Trump, who will obviously benefit from unsuspecting folks like me who expected much more from "the Donald". In short, Don, "You're Fired"!

I honestly don't think that there is a single page in the book that doesn't mention Trump this-or-that or The Apprentice. I really don't care that Mr. Trump received phone calls from whatshisname from this company or he talked to so-and-so about 'a few things.' His secretary must be a saint and his ghost writer must have the understanding of a priest...one of the other reviewers hit the anil on the head when he said that Trump is all about making money; but, in my humble opinion, it shouldn't be writing books. Save your money on this one.

You Know after reading this book, one thought came to my mind: I really hope that Mr. Trump Stops Writing these books to promote "The Apprentice"

Seriously... The only good things I can talk about this book is that it entertains you (for 2 hours) and it has GREAT pictures of Melania Knauss.

It gives you some what encouragement to go out there and make money but really, you can learn alot more just by watching his show. (Plus his show is Free if you have a TV)

want to think like a Billionaire? here is the first step, Save your money and Don't buy this book. (There are more books at the store.com that is MUCH MORE useful and cheaper)

The book is very choppy and lacks continuity. Trump writes 2-3 pages on every topic imaginable, from food to women and everything in-between. I had to force myself to finish reading this book. There are enough product endorsements from Trump in these pages that the book should be available for free.

Dear Donald Trump,

The people reading this book arent billionaires already, so we are looking for some realistic ideas to help us appreciate our wealth. So, when you dedicate 40 pages to the things that you like to buy and that are too expensive for us, we tend not to like the book.

Thanks,

Andrew Wallace

P.S. READERS... do not buy this book. Its a waste of time and surely a waste of money.

I have never written a review for anything, but this book requires one. Don't get me wrong, I admire this guy. But there is absolutely nothing you can gain from this book other than how to make millions in a book deal, even if the book doesn't deserve it. He has spent more time on his introduction than on his topics. He might not have spent even five minutes on each topic. (You can't believe the number of topics he has covered). Each topic is a one liner like he gives in his Apprentice show. If you buy this book even after reading this review you deserve what you get, just like I did buying the book after reading one of the negative reviews.

Shame on me for expecting more... I had already purchased two Trump books when they came out, "Art of the Deal" & "How to get Rich", and was well aware of how self (Trump's self!)-promoting and devoid of content they were. Just pick up any Trump book and this should be apparent by the typeface size (in order to fill the pages, the type is so big Stevie Wonder could read it!) Still most books in general have some vaule so, roaming the aisle at the library, I picked up this 5 disc "gem".

How bad and useless is this children's book of financial "wisdom"?

1.) If you removed the words "me", "I", "my", "mine" (and every other narcissistic variant of the first person pronoun ), "Trump", "Apprentice" and "Mar-Lago" the runtime of this audiobook could be cut by an easy 25%.

Cut out the superfluous "information" about the tile at Trump's home and scores of other references that have absoultely nothing to do with you or success and you kill another 40% of time. What are you left with?

2.) A host of vague and contradicting generalities that are so broad or commonsense that they are frankly insulting. My pity to anyone who actually paid for this man's self-promoting diatribe of no real value.

3.) Then Trump wants to teach you about dieting and landscaping and...stop!!!! I can't take it. It's too hard to balance laughter and disgust!!

I borrowed this to listen to in the car, but the amount of noxious fumes and carbon dioxide spewed from the speakers actually made it impossible to listen to all the way through. I actually started carrying a caged canary in the car to warn me of the CO2 levels until I could get the oxygen masks that drop from the ceiling installed. Ugh!

Seriously, I've read a lot of finance and success books and while a few have been very valuable, most tend to be 80% fluff that must be endured to find 5-10 valuable gems. After a while, most just become helpful reinforcement of what you already know. While it is not uncommon for these types of books to have obvious, contradicting or useless information, this book has little else. And the amount of crap you have to sit through to get one or two things of value is inexcusable. This is just Trump doing what he does best: Not real estate, but branding and self-promoting. If anyone becomes a billionaire via this program, it is the guy who ignores everything said and just realizes: Hey, I can make more money talking about making money than actually making it...

And, another very surprising thing: The cover of the CD as well as the intro says the book is read by the author. A LIE! OUTRIGHT LIE! The book is read by Barry Bostwick. And what's worse, he reads it like he's doing an impersonation of Trump. Nice job further screwing the Trump credibility already damaged by the content of this audiobook (and other Trump "tomes").

Why doesn't Trump ever clarify or elaborate on his true great achievement? Clawing and negotiating his way out of his massive failure in the 90's. THAT would be interesting and useful.

Bottom line: There are a billion better "books" than this waste.

There is nothing to argue that The Donald knows how to get rich. He's a billionaire! How many of us would like to say that about ourselves. This book is excellent in guiding readers in the way of the Donald. It has excellent advise and tips to give you a view of the way Trump thinks. I think this is a good book especially for those interested in making money in Real Estate. I also recommend Rohan Hall (entrepreneural wealth creation), Robert Kiyosaki (Real Estate wealth creation), Anthony Robbins (Motivation), Spenser Johnson (Change Management/Leadership). There are a lot of great book out there and this is one of them.

I was really looking forward to get this book. I'm a big fan of Mr Trump and I love his ideas on how to make business. When I started to read the book,I have to say,i was slightly dissapointed. He has good ideas but the writing is a bit poor and not clear as in how to actually follow the advices. I love however the way he points out people and how easily he seems to be aware of the enviroment around him. I give the book 3 stars as I think it has some good points, the topics are all you need to know, but as a business bible, it should have been more commands...

This book is lacking. It has entirely too much empty "white space". He used most of the book as a marketing tool for himself, making sure to mention all of his buildings and business partners while saying how "great" they are. If i read him say how great a guy so and so is again i will cry. Also the majority of the book is a week in the life of donald. It is such a weak attempt at writing a book that he should be ashamed to have his name on it. Although, im sure he made some good money on all of us suckers who thought it might be worthwhile.

I BOUGHT THIS BOOK LAST NIGHT ON A WHIM. I USUALLY READ THE REVIEWS HERE ON the store FIRST, BUT THIS IS ONE TIME WHEN I DIDN'T. I KNOW I WILL NEVER BECOME RICH, BUT I LIKE TO SEE WHAT RICH PEOPLE ARE THINKING. I GOT ON THE NYC SUBWAY FOR MY TRIP HOME AND WAS FLIPPING THROUGH THE PAGES OF THIS BOOK. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG TO REALIZE WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY -- THERE'S NOTHING TO LEARN HERE. I WAS GOING TO RETURN THE BOOK THE NEXT DAY, BUT DECIDED TO KEEP IT DUE TO ONE PAGE IN THE BOOK -- AND THAT IS THE PICTURE OF THE DONALD SITTING WITH "MY LOVE" JAY LENO. I PUT A NOTE ON THE PAGE SO I KNOW I NOW HAVE A PICTURE OF JAY LENO TO LOOK AT ANY TIME I WANT! THIS MAY BE WORTH THE PRICE OF THE BOOK.

I admire Donald

I love the Apprentice

I'm a self-employed real-estate entrepreneur

But this book is worthless unless your a completly oblivious high school drop out fool who is suddenly seeking common sense knowledge.

Don't waste your time or your money. This book is all about Donald trying to add more trophys on his wall. It made me angry reading it. Hard to believe that someone like Donald Trump would put out something so terrible.

If your looking for a book about a guy that's full of himself, this is it. If your looking for a book about finance, real estate and making money, this isn't it! Plus, he adds a section about The Apprentice at the end, it really didn't help me out one bit. I was really disappointed in this book, wasn't at all what I thought it would be.

When I first picked up the book I believed that I would gain some insight as to what makes "The Donald" tick. What has motivated him over the years to keep going even though he overcame so much adversity ( i.e. when the real estate bubble decided to burst all over him). Instead I received a bunch of no-brainer advice such as which suits he likes to wear. He builds himself as a great perfectionist, but this book is far from perfect.

This is the book for you. All this book is, is a review of how great Trump and all his business' are. In this book he lists some of his favorite things like restaurants. But then he goes on and lists his own restaurant as his favorite. Just a book filled with Trump advertisements and not much else that is useful.

This is the first TRUMP book I have read. It is interesting to read how Donald manages his own life. Trump does just what the title says - he gives his insight on everything from renting an apartment to marriage. There is not much specific advice on how to succeed, but this book is great for gaining motivation to do better.

Very dissappointing! Each chapter is about a page and a half of material. I can sum up the majority of the book with the following: If you want to be successful in real estate find a good banker, want to get your finances in order hire a good accountant, etc. I think Trump needs to follow his own advice next time he wants to write a good book, he should hire a good author.

If you want to know everything there is about The Aprentice show, this is your book. Other than that, Mr Drump may have had a better time spent buying real estate. If you are looking to think like a millionaire, get the books on Rich Dad cause you will be waisting your time with this one. All there is about how Billionaires are, can be found in the Internet and some of it is mention in the book.

If having a billionaire mindset is what your looking for then you have found the right book. This book differed from a lot of Trumps other books a bit. I love the way he gave pointers on life. This book gives you a more pesonal look at Trump and his orginizaton and deals with how he thinks through sitiuation. I would diffinately add this to my business book collection.

This books comprises a couple of good tips that one could really use and a couple of tips that are just common sense but that are worth reminding. If you can put up with the megalomaniac comments of Trump here and there (even comparing himself to God at some point) then this book is ok.

Everything you need to know about success, real estate, and life" is in this book, instead there are some gems here and there and you won't find anything really profound.

Needless to say that the Donald is an icon, a legend of the American Dream and all success-hungry people can look to him as a shining example of that.

I ALSO RECOMMENDED THE BOOK SEX AND THE PERFECT LOVER BY MABEL IAM, THE BEST OF THIS YEAR

The book is merely 220 pages of the Donald talking narcissisticly to himself. The last 70 or so pages however, really need to be torn out, except for the photos, you dont want to miss on Melinia...

This book is a total waste of money, long story short, save your cash...

this book read like a power point presentation. some text, some pictures .. cartoon.. zzzzz.. most of the wisdom attempted to be communicated by this book, i had always assumed to be common sense.

this is a really horrible book.. use the 20 bucks on a steak dinner.. seriously.. there is nothing to see here.

This book was disappointing. There is nothing useful for a business owner like myself. Your money is best spent elsewhere. This is a book geared toward Apprentice fans and Donald Trump fans. Not those looking for insight, ideas, or techniques.

This was nothing more than a self-promotion of Trump and his various business ventures. It offers nothing new to even a novice business person. Reading People magazine could probably help more if one is interested in finding words to help them make a billion dollars.
