She's a strong willed heroine. When she learns of a deadly plot she goes to Redemption Harbor and Brooks for help. I admired her courage. How many of us would face a criminal mastermind? Dangerous Witness kept me involved. I loved their passionate attraction. The combination of romance with danger and intrigue made a compelling story that I wasn't able to put down. Katie Reus is an excellent author and the Redemption Harbor series is action packed from start to finish.

"Dangerous Witness", is an amazing romantic suspense story of intrigue, sexy men and women, romance and a real page turner! Darcy is a sassy woman that has been wronged and speaks her mind. She is also in trouble and has to turn to the one man that hurt her the most, her old love, Brooks the hot millionaire and co-founder of Redemption Harbor Consulting. He also finds out he is a jack-a** for assuming facts and throwing away the best thing in his life. Not only working to protect her, Brooks must also work for his "Redemption" and his way back into her heart. The action is swift, the romance is hot, with the H and h both being strong characters that will find their way to a HEA. Each book is a standalone and a series I highly recommend. Dangerous Witness by Katie Reus is the 3. book in the Redemption Harbor Series.
Dangerous Witness can easily be read as a standalone. The previous books are Resurrection and Savage Rising.
This book starts where Savage Rising left off. Brooks Alexander breaks up with his love because he believes she took the money his father offered her.
Darcy Cooper loved Brooks with all of her heart. And that broke when he accuses her of taking bribing money fron his father.
Over months he steams in his misplaced self-pity 'til he discovers she didn't do it.
But now it seems too late for them. All bridges are burnt.
But when Darcy's life is in danger, Brooks and the men of Redemption Harbor Consulting are the only ones who can help.

Dangerous Witness is a action packed pageturner, who's sweet at the same time. The writing is great and the characters are lovable. I give 4 stars.

Brooks Alexander is rich, a former Marine sniper, and a founding member of Resurrection Harbor Consulting. Too bad he has one big issue, not being able to trust the woman he loves. Or at least that was his problem. It seems he's seen the error of his ways--but is it too late for this Cowboy?

Darcy Cooper is a woman who works hard and doesn't take anything from anyone, especially from the man she thought loved her.

As Brooks begin to try to win back the woman he loves, she ends up to her neck in trouble. Her sister's future father-in-law's employee says something that could get her killed. What's a girl to do? Go to her local tough guy, Brooks, of course.

As they work to neutralize the threat, they begin to rebuild their trust in each other. Some of this easy and some of it isn't.

Thankfully, love and right and wrong win in the end.

This was an intense and gripping story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Brooks and Darcy's second chance together. I loved the dual POV that the book is written in. It really helps me to understand what the character is going though and why he or she is doing things that may not seem logical to me. Everyone responds differently to situations.

The book started out with a bang and kept building toward a explosive ending. This story kept me entertained to where it was hard to put down. The scenes were crafted in a way that they flowed like a movie in my mind. I highly recommend this story to anyone.

Dangerous Witness by Katie Reus is book Three in the "Redemption Harbor" series. This is the story of Brooks and Darcy. I haven't yet read the other books in this series, so for me this was a standalone book. This book does start at the point were Brooks and Darcy break up after he wrongly accuser her of taking his father's money and basically calling her a whore. Now 7 months later Brooks learns that she didn't take the money that she basically told his father off. Brooks knows that he was wrong not to realize she would never do such a thing and want to get back with her. But even after saving Darcy from being hurt doesn't make her change her mind. But later she finds that she is in need of his help and Brooks works to repair the damage he did to their relationship.

What follows, is a love that hadn’t died, a planner for Savages wedding, and we have bad guys. Dangerous Witness is a second chance romance. The story is what you read is what you get.
Katie Reus books kind of go one way or the other for me. This book while I loved that Darcy and Brooks were up front with everything it just feel short in areas.
The pacing of the story isn't quite right but I can't put my finger on it.
The secondary characters which have already been introduced are back and fun to catch on up. The relationship between Brooks and his father is a nice twist so it isn't all 100%romance with a little suspense.
Reader of Katie Reus will love this addition and I will admit while it wasn't perfect I found myself loving the story.

Omg, everytime I read a katie Reus book I remember how much I love and miss the characters and places the books take place.

Brooks and Darcy 's story was another wonderful read. There's always just the right about of action, romance, misunderstandings, and a glimpse at who is the next tho get a story but usually she gives a few ways she can go in the next books.
Darcy was a great add to the redemption harbor family, and Brooks finally reconciling with his dad and finding a sister added to the already great story line. Russian mob trying to kill Darcy and Brooks was hotter then hot the way he saved her and all those people but the way he secured her safety wowzer that's awesome.

I already can't wait for the next book!!

Brooks made a mistake and broke up with Darcy without finding out the truth. Darcy is trying to get over Brooks but she finds herself in trouble and whether she wants him to be or not Brooks is there to keep her safe and to try to get her back.

As Darcy goes about planning her sister's wedding, she overhear the conversation of a dangerous man and his destructive plans that are going to happen within a week. While they are trying to figure out exactly where and when this is going to happen, things start to go wrong for Darcy. She decides that whether she can trust Brooks or not with her heart, she can trust him to keep her safe.

This series just gets better and better as new stories are brought to life. In this one we have Brooks and Darcy with some past miscommunication that have stopped them from being together. As with all Katie's books, the drama that finds her characters will have you turning the pages so fast just to see what happens. Sometimes your gut knows best and you should listen as long as it doesn't stick you in the line of fire. Getting to see the other side of Brooks was very eye opening. This group of friends who are family stick together no matter what and help the innocent no matter how crazy. Great book and can't wait to see what Gage's story brings.

Dangerous Witness is the 3rd book in the Redemption Harbor series. Once again, Katie Reus finds a great balance between romance and danger. I fell in love with the series in book one and as each character gets their own story, I fall in love a little bit more.

Brooks and Darcy are perfect together. I always like a second chance story and these two definitely had some unfinished business. As much as this is a romantic suspense story, it's also a story about family. These characters are building a family not only with their respective mates, but also each other.

I always had a crush on Brooks and was so happy to read his story ... And Darcy is perfect for him. Getting to spend some time with the other members of REDEMPTION HARBOR CONSULTING and see what is happening in their lives. As with the other books there is plenty of action, laughs, good loving and some new characters to give you ideas of who with be the stars of the next book.....Gage and Nova? ...Leighton and Hazel? I can't wait to find out. Great job again Katie Reus...

Dangerous Witness by Katie Reus was one of those books once you start reading you don't want to put down.
I enjoyed the storyline, the drama was well done, it kept me turning the pages and I loved Brooks and Darcy together.
Watching them reconnect after years apart brought out the feels. These two were perfect for each other, and I'm happy they took their time getting reacquainted, communicating honestly and accepting life is so much better being together.

Overall, Dangerous Witness is a great addition to the Redemption Harbor series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!!

I enjoy a good romantic suspense novel, and this one fits the bill nicely.

Decent pacing; an interesting plot that wasn't too far fetched, and a leading couple whose interactions fell on the right side of frustration.  My one issue with them was the amount of time they had been apart, still holding a torch (or a grudge) for each other, but their reconcilliation (come on, you knew it was coming) was remarkably swift.

That said, it wasn't a sufficiently big deal to impact my overall enjoyment of the story.

Another winner from Ms. Reus. A second chance romance with murder, bombings, weddings and kick ass heroes and heroines. All of that screams “read me”. Seeing how the relationship went from fairytale to “what the hell” to trust was wonderfully romantic. The non-stop action took us on another wild ride with these men and women from Redemption Harbor Consulting. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Reus’ books, at least two more in this series…hopefully.

Its strange how a misunderstanding can rip a couple apart. Sometimes making up is even better.
Katie's books are ones that I start reading and can not put down.
This was another.
I enjoyed the storyline and the drama.

Darcy walked away from Brooks because he assumed things about her.
Brooks realized he made a mistake and wants to make everything right.
Circumstances brings these two back together. Can they make amends and be happy?

I really liked this one. It a complete standalone and there is no need to read the two before this one to start. I didn't get a chance to read book 2, but I'm glad I wasn't lost. This mainly had the suspense/action in this book with a small amount of romance. All I can say is that I can't wait for (which I hope is the next installment)Nova and Gage's story, their banter is off the charts.

Another great story! I love love love second chance romances! There wasn't too much time lapsed between them but the concept is all the same. I love how protective Brooks was! Darcy was super sweet, and didn't fold easily. She knows what she deserves and doesn't settle! The supporting cast is as usual fantastic. Love it and can always count on katies books for a great read!

Dangerous Witness is the first book that I've read in the Redemption Harbor series and I can't wait to go back and read the first two books. I love that Brooks was so protective of Darcy and that she made him work to redeem himself. I hope Gage and Nova's story is coming soon!

This thrilling instalment in the Redemption Harbour series brings us closer to the Stetson-wearing, ex-Marine that we know as Brooks.
If you haven’t read the first three books, I suggest you do so first. They’re all great books in their own right but pull together perfectly, creating an exhilarating series that will have you struggling to pick your favourite book, or character, and set your nerves a flutter.

This instalment is full of regret and heartbreak and even though there may be a glimmer of hope, it’s never smooth sailing. The twists and turns will have you gripped and eager to devour it as quickly as you can.

Of course now I’m itching to get my hands on Gage’s story. I don’t know if his story is in the works but I sure hope so!

I highly recommend this captivating series.

This is the third book in the Redemption Harbor Series.It is a great story with amazing characters, suspense and danger. A misunderstanding made Darcy run away from the man she loved but a dangerous situation brought her back to him. If you like to read great books then i highly recommended this book or any book that Katie Reus writes.

Fantastic story and a great romance. I can't think of anything else worth saying. I enjoyed this book as much or more than any other book I've read by this author. This book is a winner up one side and down the other. I received a loan of this book from a relative.

Such an interesting story! There is suspense, regret, longing and danger in this action packed story line. The characters are determined individuals that have great interactions throughout. I never miss reading books by this author, I know I am in for a fantastic adventure!
