Good read, enjoyed the story. A little predictable but a few nice surprises. I hated the protagonist naming of the Dragon, every time I read it I could not help thinking of "Top Gun" I'll definitely read the next book, look forward to seeing how this story unfolds.

Would have been 3.5 Stars if possible.

I'm very impressed with Nicole Conway's new book. She writes we'll, created realistic characters, and wove a story filled with great action, realistic plots, and included some humorous episodes. I can't wait for the next book. I highly recommend reading Fledgling. You'll find you have a hard time putting it down.

Fledgling was a very good read! Finished it in 2 days. I did feel like it was written for a younger audience(I am 30), but nonetheless I was very entertained and I would have finished it in one setting had I not had family obligations. Recommend for anyone who likes fantasy novels. Looking forward to the second book!

Excellent !! A great read that had no flat spots were you are bored to death before the next action scene. Even the non-action scenes were very good. No, extended pages of architectural exposition, (you know what I mean). Just a good read. Whatever.

Buy it. Read it. Yadda Yadda...I'm done.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by how well-written and interesting this story was. Told from the perspective of an unwanted son, who is also an outcast in society, the story can be related to by anyone who has ever felt bullied.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden jewel of a book. I didn't know what to think before starting it but boy was I happy I purchased this book. It's a must have for any fantasy lover I only wished the next book was out already. Can't wait for your next book in the series.

I loved this book! Yes, there were spelling errors, but that's the editor's problem, not the author's. The story was amazing, I couldn't put this book down, can't wait to read the second. I absolutely recommend!

I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were good and you felt like rooting for the good guys and really hated the bad ones. I am going to wait anxiously for the next in the series to come out. I really hope that it will be as good a read as this book was.

I would read this book again. The character is great feels like a person i would like to know if he actually existed.it kept me interested from the very beginning. If you like Dragon stories and stories about the underdog who prevails over all obstacles you will love this book.

Reminds of "Eragon" and Christopher's Inheritance Cycle series. The characters were great. The storyline, I thought, gave enough for the book to understand and leave room for imagination. Can't wait for the second book "Avian!!!"

This book really draws you in. Not an incredibly difficult read, but definitely an enjoyable one. I kind of hate that I ordered it so soon, there is no information on anything else and I'm sure it will be a long time before any other books will be released (if at all). I would definitely like to read them from other POVs, not just Jaevid. Think it would make the read even more interesting.

This was a refreshing little fantasy novel. The world was clear, the problems easy to understand, with just the right mystique to make you wondering about the main character and the sequel. Its no GoT or Kingkiller Chronicle, but a delightful short read for fantasy fans.

I really loved this book. The characters were believable, and anyone who has ever felt like an outcast can relate to the main character. His bond with his dragon and his growing abilities make a fascinating story, and I really hope she writes a sequel.

This book was a good adventure. I recommend this book and can't wait for the next one. Fledgling is an entertaining smile maker, Jae and his dragon Mavrik are engaging and I can't wait to see what those two get into next book

Very strong story. Similar to the Eragon story but with a unique twist in that the hero is flawed but always seems to do the right thing. I am excited to keep reading this series and will definitely look for the next book.

i usually like to read these multiple series books after they've all been written so i don't have to wait to find out what's going to happen. i didn't realize this was the first until i finished it and looked for the next, only to find that it was not out. i hope she writes fast. interesting characters, you care about them. good commentary about mixed races. fascinating twist on elves.
