I ordered this book on Wednesday night. After ordering I started reading the preview chapters and that was the end of it , I got so tied up into the book I couldn't wait to finish, so I ordered the kindle version as well, I finished the book Thursday evening... and loved it. It takes a lot for me to really get into a book that I benge read and this one did exactly that. I struggled putting it down. It's not Friday and I'm searching for more like this! My hard copy of this book will be here tomorrow (which is fine I like having hard copies anyway) but my boyfriend thought it was funny I finished it before it was even delivered :) I highly reccomend this one !

I think this book was very well written. I believe it should be read by everyone but it should be in school curriculum, it teaches many lessons on bullying and being a good person. I honestly loved everything about this book even though I figured it out a bit before I should have. I have always had a love of the witch trials but this book really makes me want to study them more and visit the historical sites.

I throughly enjoyed this book; So much so, I couldn’t put it down and read on through into the early morning to finish it.
The mix of the witch trial history, young adult issues, love and magical intrigue kept me on my toes. Usually, you can kind of figure out the villain and the villains reasonings, but I didn’t see the ending coming. I would recommend this book to anyone as I think there is something for everyone in this awesome story! Order or pick up a copy...you will not be disappointed. Great Read!!!

Love this historical YA book series with todays teenage twist! It was fresh and kept my interest from beginning to end! I have already bought and read the next book Haunting the Deep by Adriana Mather as well. I thought as I was reading, these books would translate really well to movies or a t.v. series either one! Looking forward to her next book!

This book was so great! I have always loved reading stories about the Salem Witch Trials and this takes place in modern days with the descendants. It was a fascinating way of learning more about Cotton Mather. I loved Elijah & Jaxon, and I loved how the author didn't exactly focus on the love story since there was more going on. I will say I was expecting more of a twist at the end, but I kinda figured it out fairly early. Either way, you will enjoy this one!

I enjoy books that mix history and fantasy. This one has the right amount of those two elements. I finished this book and now I'm ready to get the second part. I highly recommend this book because is more than just a romantic story.

There are very few books and authors who capture my attention and my want to devour a book in one sitting. This book is one of them! I enjoyed the charaters, the storyline and the twisted ending! So glad I purchased this book and the next Haunting the Deep together.....it would of been horrible to have to wait for a few days for the second one to arrive!!! Read them!!! You will not be disapointed!!

I stumbled upon this book while browsing Facebook. More accurately, I discovered Haunting the Deep a book about the Titanic. Not realizing it was part of a series, I bought it. I started reading How to Hang a Witch and finished it in less than 24 hours. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I can't wait to read Haunting the Deep!

I absolutely loved everything about this, and I believe I am in love with a ghost. The comparisons of how witches came to be accused at the trials vs how we spread information and accusations today are a serious reality check. If you love history with a dose of paranormal do not miss out on this wonderful read.

Mean girls and ancient curses dating back to the Salem Witch Trials in 1692 oh and throw in some real witches with an ax to grind. When Sam Mather, a descendant of Cotton Mather, the priest best known for starting the infamous witch trials moves to Salem after a tragic accident things start falling apart. Soon she is to blame and accused of being a witch herself. She has to unlock the secrets of the past that have been buried for so long in order to save the very people who are against her in the first place.
This book has mystery, suspense, magic and love. You won't want to put it down.

I love this book. From the first few lines, Adriana Mather hooks you and keeps you engaged. She's got a great sense of humor and it gives the read an effortless quality of enjoyment. It's the kind of book that keeps you binging on it's pages and completely immersed in the story. If you start it on a Friday, cancel your plans for the weekend, you'll want to do nothing other than devour this book.

I love books that include true history. From the first page to the last, this story did not let me down. I needed to find out what happened next. I also loved that the villian was not an obvious person but at the same time was.
The only negative words that I can say is the curse words that are presented. For a teen novel, I wish they were not there.

I love Salem, MA. I love the history, the buildings, just everything about it. I did not want to put this book down. I was drawn to it due to the nature of the story, but kept reading because it was truth, adventure and in a way romantic. Down right just loved it!

I gave this book 5 stars because it completely surprised me with its originality. What started out as a typical YA teenager angst novel turned quickly into a complex series of unexpected events and twists and turns that kept me turning page after page. I highly recommend this book for a unique look at a very disturbing part of our American history.

The mystery was interesting that it was about Salem witches, the trials, Puritans, and the families it affected. My only complaint is the book repeated itself so many times that parts became redundant.

Spooky, freaky, sad, and happy ever after! It was a good read but the end left me with more questions than closure. Definitely liked sam, she was tough and put up a good front. Liked the hero's but one of them was my favorite. Likable book but still scratching my head about the ending.

This is a dark, contemporary Salem witch tale, but I didn't realize it was YA, and I am not the biggest YA fan. However, the dark twist at the end was a great aspect to the book and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

I absolutely loved the book, very well written. I honestly had a hard time putting the book down. I haven’t read book that I couldn’t stop reading in many years. Ms. Mather is an awesome writer and I cannot wait to read her next book after Haunting the Deep (which was also an amazing book).

This book captured my attention from beginning to end. Yes, I read it in one day. Yes, I would recommend to a friend! I actually was recommended by a friend and I couldn't be more satisfied. This is one book I would read over and over, it's fun reading a book again and seeing all the clues you missed.

Read this book! You won't regret it!

This book is absolutely amazing! I seen a video clip advertising the book and it instantly had me drawn to it. I had to get it to read. I was not disappointed in the least! I thought it was beautifully written and had a perfect flow to it. I loved all the characters but I have to say Elijah is my favorite ? I can't wait to read Samantha's next adventure... I've already preordered 'Haunting The Deep' and can't wait for its release!

As an eighth-grade English teacher, I'm constantly reading young adult fiction for potential titles for my students. This book was one I couldn't put down with a message at the end every person (especially eight graders) should hear.
