Loved book 2 - Twist. Such a great series! So much happened through this. Ups and downs, lots of action packed scenes. All our favorite characters are back, and a few great new ones.

Twist is the continuation after Sterling. I am not going to summarize this, but I definitely recommend reading from the beginning. It will make more sense.

Silver still seems to be a magnet for trouble and even though she has her Ghuardian and friends, she's missing her old life. One of my favorite new characters in this one is Logan Cross. What a change from some of the others. Logan and Silver's relationship may have gotten off on a rocky start, but Logan seems to understand, respect and care about Silver. I wasn't sure I liked his character in the beginning, but I quickly learned to love him. Such a refreshing "Twist"! LOL. No pun intended here.

Of course this story brings Silver and her friends forward for the search of her previous enemy. And things get hairy at times, but she keeps her attitude and personality the same which makes her such a strong lead. There's a host of action-packed scenes, lots of sarcastic one-liners that are hysterical, great romance, and relationship building. And it is truly a great riveted story.

I can't wait for the next installment.

When I can across Sterling on my the store recommendations the cover is what made me click on the book. I read description , and was like okay this sounds different. I love different. I didn't want to read another Twilight like book again. It was like Twilight became so big everyone wanted to jump on the wagen too. So a lot of books started to all sound the same. So when I read the free sample I was like wow. Sterling grips you from the very first page. I couldn't put it down.. it was like I just had to know what was going to happen . I started to bring my kindle to work so I could keep reading. I would definitely give Sterling 4 1/2 stars.. Why do I say that ??well let me tell you guys about Logan in the second book Twist. Now this is a five star book. You can see how much Dannika Dark grow with her writing. And Logan was by far my favorite person in the second book. He had me laughing, crying.. & falling in love with a book character. She definitely knows how to write books for women with all these amazing male lead characters. I read this book in two days, and then I was mad at myself for rushing it.. Because I knew the third book wasn't out yet. So I went back & had to re-read all of my fav parts with Logan & Silver. Silver is a very strong female lead not someone who wants to cry and have men save her all the time. She wants to jump in and kick some butt too . She is a fighter not someone who sits on the side lines. And I love that. All I can really say is that if you are scared or whatever to buy this book don't be it's amazing , wonderful best book I've read in a while. The mageri series is a MUST READ you will not be sorry. Soo if your looking for something different then this is the book for you. I cant wait for book three. :)

I laughed and I cried, every person wants a love like Silver and Logan had for each other and reading at my pace was better than a movie as Dannika Dark wrote like it seemed real and a movie in my mind. Great writing.

The characters seem so real.. The way the writer has given the break off character her own story.. When I have read others series the dirt 3 chapters were from the original story. You will come across that some but a paragraph here or there..
Can't wait to read book 3

I love this part if the series where Silver shows her LOVE for Logan and reminds me that all her trials could not break her human attributes. As a human she was forced into a foreign world by violence but kept her humanity. GREAT SERIES

Rich characters, compelling turns, complex relationships... these are just a few of the reasons to love the Mageri series. I am genuinely interested in what choices Sterling makes, what mischief she finds and where her story will lead.

My new favorite series! Two words: Logan Cross. This is the only series I've read that rivals The Fever series. Logan Cross comes in 2nd only to Jerricho Barrons,,,oh yea I said it! No one has ever come close to JZB in my BBF world but holy mother of all that is hot, steamy, sexy, alpha, witty, scary, chita badassidness!
The story is well written and well plotted. I adore each character I've met so far. I can't help but continue to reference the Fever series as my all time favorite and this series (2 books in) is running a close second...up against, Kate Daniels, Charley Davidson, Mercy Thompson, etc. Zoe or Silver is funny, brave, sometimes vulnerable (in a way that pisses her off) and is developing into a bad ass.
Outstanding 'new to me' series!

I enjoyed both books in this series. It seems like this author is a new author and is still developing her craft. I think this author is gifted in story telling and I was interested from start to finish. I feel as if more detail could have been offered about Logan and his species. I also think she could have been more detailed about the "mage" race as well. Even though I did enjoy the story, I find that the main character Silver is not very likeable. She argues with Justice even when he is trying to do the right thing for her and it is obvious to me as the reader, that he is only looking out for her and trying to protect her. I could not believe how she let Logan, an unknown man into the house on his explanation that he was a friend of Justice. Did she not wonder "Wouldn't Justice have told me about this before he left? Didn't he say not to trust anyone?" She wasn't even allowed to leave the house on her own for that reason, why would he want her to trust a complete stranger? I thought she was annoying as a character. I don't like how she has been stringing Adam along in the past two books. If she doesn't have feelings for him, she should tell him and not send him mixed signals. She is very selfish and I hope she doesn't string her new love interest along either.

I enjoyed this second book more than first, which I loved. I enjoy the relationships were given time to develop. I often read a book and the relationships feel rushed and leave me dissatisfied. The relationships in this series are richer than that. Logan is a character, who is fun and unforgettable.

Another great book that I just couldn't put down. There is one part of the story that is holding me back from giving it 5 stars. I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I did think overall in the end the story worked and I really enjoyed it a lot!

Okay I thought the first book in series, (Sterling), was good but boy this one is even better. Finished this one quickly too and not because it was short, but rather because I was so into the storyline. Zoe Winter was attacked in first book by a creator mage and is now a mage herself. This means that she is a wielder of electricity in layman's terms. Her creator wants her back after he abandoned her and now other mage are involved in saving her from him as he wants to sell her bacause of her enhanced abilities. She is kidnapped by a Chitah, Logan Cross, he is another type of supe being, to repay a debt owed to another mage. But he is attracted to her and after much discussion between them and some secluded alone time, he changes his mind and makes a deal with her protectors. The ensuing story is attention holding. A must read in my opinion.

Twist (Mageri Series: Book 2) is a wonderful continuation the story from Sterling. If you have not read the first book I highly recommend that you do so. Dannika's way with words and imagery is simply brilliant. She breaths new life into a genre that can be overburdened with Vampires and Werewolves. I love her writing style and her voice as an author is very Unique (hehe). The addition of Logan into the story is so fecking hot. . . I love the interactions between Silver and Logan. I usually cannot keep up with novels that have a lot of characters but Dannika's characters are so very different from one another and very intruiging that I am able to remember the whosits and the whatsits of the story. I love this series and will continue to read and recommend this author to anyone that will listen to me.

Dannika Dark has written another hit! I couldn't put it down. She brought in some new amazing characters and expanded upon some minor characters from Sterling. It was great reading about her life stretching beyond only Justus, Simon and Adam. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Urban Fantasy!

This is a good book. However, the world the author is creating is getting a bit complicated. I almost feel like there has been too many characters introduced. At least once I found myself forgetting characters.

Overall, there is great character development. The story is full of romance, danger and evil villains that must be vanquished!

The characters are beautifully flawed and impossibly loveable, each in their own way. I also love the sensuality that doesn't include a detailed sex scene every other page. Very refreshing. I am loving this series
