I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to give this series a five star rating. It made me laugh out loud, it made me tear up in all the right places and the characters came to life as though they were old friends. Charles is quite a character, Sasha is magical but oh so human with all of her flaws and wit making her a very likable though unlikely heroine. There is a lot of adult content but being an adult I had no problem with it and it wasn't entirely over the top. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down which is how I measure a really good read. I am patiently awaiting the next book in the series, until then I am going to investigate some more of this author's books. I have a feeling I will not be disappointed.

I just finished this 3rd book and really like the characters, BUT the books are too SHORT! The author should put a couple of the books together! I'm not going to keep paying for mini books!!! So I'm stopping here even though I like the books, it's frustrating that right when I'm really getting into the book, it's over! So Beware before you start this series, because it's an investment!

Kindle fire edits my comments too much! I plowed through these three in one sitting. After the first story the style became more stable and characters developed more depth. They made me laugh, always a plus in my estimation. In a word, quirky.

Once again, the ending came much too quick! But, I think even if the book was 500+ pages, it still would not be long enough; the story is that good. Each book in the series keeps getting even better, and I anxiously await #4.
