Indelible: A Grant County Thriller

This was my first book by Karin Slaughter. It held my attention and interest. I did not want to put it down once I started reading it. I have already purchased another and look forward to reading it.

INDELIBLE by Karin Slaughter is the fourth book in the Grant County series (read the series in order which starts with BLINDSIGHTED). This book was perfect for the series as it was a book that keeps the series in the present but also takes the loyal fans back into the past for a second story involving a couple of the key characters in the series. We learn more details that helps to explain why these characters are who they are today. The past and present stories ride different tracks as the book progresses and by the end of the book we exit only into the future.

Karin Slaughter is the author that has most impressed me over the last year as a new author that I started to read. I have given her first four books solid 5 star ratings and hope the trend continues. Quite amazing I must say.

I haven't been a fan of a couple of her past titles but I think this one, INDELIBLE, fits the story perfectly.

The grant county books just keep getting better and better!! I did not ever want to put this one Down. It kept me glued to the action from start to finish!! I'm completely addicted to the characters in the books... I can not wait to read the next book!!!
