Jesus, I'm sorry! I'm here complaining about people hurting my feeling when I reach out to them and my brothers and sisters in Christ are dying and being tortured for Your name LORD, again I'M SO SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

I have purchased several of Tortured for Christ. I like to pass the book on to other people.
This book was old and I guess been on the shelve a long time = hate to hear that. I don't
think I will pass this one on because I don't thing it will hold together for another reading

Awesome and inspirational . Voices of Christians in captive communist countries are being heard through this book and should not be ignored , past and present voices. Thank God for Richard Wurmbrand, may he forever rest in peace. God bless !

Many years ago, I had the oportunity to meet Richard Wurmbrand and hear him tell of his treatment at the hand of his tormentors. What a powerful man of God. I highly recomend reading this book, and sharing it with others.

Excellent book showing the brutal realities effecting so many Christians today and in years gone by. The similarities between what the communists did then and what the US and other countries are doing now is frightening.

After reading the sample, I was at first hesitant to purchase the full text because of a very mildly implicit derogatory remark on the Catholic Church. I'm glad I still went ahead. Again, there should always be room for works that disturb us, stirring the water of our souls, that we may get out of our comfort zones and go out into the deep where Christ calls us to witness, to thrive, to live and die for Him.

This is a wonderful testimony to Christ. We in the United States may never see this kind of activity for our faith on Jesus - but I doubt it. Face with such a prospect, shouldn't we be ready and counted among the faithful?

Challenging Spiritual journey of a man or God! Inspired me to rethink my relationship with God and wheather I'm ready for what my future in Christ holds in store and if it is one I can face regaurdless of the forces against me. How and what can I do today for those already facing persecution in our world today?

Unbelievable that his evil goes on in the world. I'm so thankful that this book has opened my eyes to the truth. Please read this soul touching work. Then do something to help the cause of righteousness for Christ in the world.

I highly recommend this book. It is intended to light a fire under you to be part of the solution for those suffering in captive nations for their faith. It solicits your involvement and your prayers for both the captives and the captors.

The author describes his experience in a positive light without all the gory details,
and his observations of other detainees. Reveals effects of marxist dogma(s) of
world domination and rule at any cost, and the experience of a believer of faith
in Jesus Christ, a personage who did things no ordinary human ever did before.

This should be required reading for every Christian all over the world to learn about those who suffer for Christ, but yet grow stronger in faith. An eye opening book, one that asks for the support of the free church.

Richard Wurmbrand`s testimony is impacting. He reminds us that there are people who are suffering for Jesus's name who need our help in order to spread the gospel. This book is a true eye opener that makes us reflect how strong our faith really is in Jesus Christ and how high the price we are willing to pay in order to stand up for Him.
