Sample sounded great. Disappointed in the story. Needed more editing I found my self reading a couple of passages twice because they were in 2 different paragraphs. Also it went from she hating him to ok they are going to give being mates a try, very cliche. Also main female character was whiney and couldnt make up her mind and had no real depth, I found myself lossing patients with her and the story. After several days I was finally able to finish the book.

Nothing says amature writer/author insert more than first person narrative. I personally hate it with the passion of a firey burning suns.

As for this story, not only did the first person narrative constantly throw me out of the story, but the writing was klunky. I HAVE READ BETTER FANFIC.

This is very well written with excellent character development and an interesting storyline, but this is definitely more violent than any shifter story I have read in a long while. The sample pages were compelling enough and not indicating how violent it would become so I read it through KU. Very gory and explicitly, violently detailed. Not my cup of tea, but I made it through to the end. Will definitely checking reviews on the next couple paranormal romances before downloading though, I enjoy more romance and less blood and guts.

Really enjoyable book...loved the first version and couldn't see how this version was going to top it. But it did. Yes it's your typical rejection/second chance mate, but it's worth reading. Both Scarlett and Noah have alot to over come before the end of the book.
Ashley has done a fantastic job on this book and it's well worth reading.
