I enjoyed this one. Seemed real, life happens. We have friends who suck, sell us out for a dollar. Friends that see what's on the inside while the people outside our circle, strangers judge us.
Life is real. Models on the cover of the magazine are no different.... With a few tweaks here, a nip tuck there allowing photoshop make them into something their not is a joke!
This book was real life, maybe not all of it but hey to each his own. I like that Gemma was confident in her own body, while her friend, beautiful & skinny not happy, not comfortable & jealous green with envy Chelsea was miserable.

This was my first, but certainly, not my last, book read from this author. It contains what some might find uncomfortable situations and I will say it most definitely is not for everyone. I loved (most of) the characters and there were a few (one in particular) that I hated enough to wish she was real so I could rip her blond extensions out just because it'd make me happy. I am moving onto another book by her called, Sugar Daddies, but will be coming back to this world/series set at and around Explicit as soon as I'm finished with that book.
It was way kinkier than I've found from past authors in an actual novel format. I was so excited for that. Many stories that have this much steaminess to them are maybe a hundred pages long, but this book was full-length and a great read that didn't skimp on any range of emotions. It was a book that I couldn't put down and read straight through the night simply because I needed to know what happened next.

I've read the two previous books by Jade West, so I knew what I was getting myself into.
This book was exactly what the title implies. Dirty bad but in a terrific and highly erotic way. It was not just about dirty sex. It had a great and interesting story to back it up.
Gemma is an ordinary, beautiful and curvy woman who works on a sex chat line. She's enjoying life and herself with a lot of no strings attached sex. She shares an apartment with her friend Tessa while her other "friend", Chelsea only wants to make Gemma's life miserable, by criticizing everything Gemma does and how she looks. Even though she tries not to be affected by Chelsea's words, they do show an insecure side of Gemma when it comes to her appearance.
Luckily Gemma finds some new and more free spirited people, when she starts practicing pole dance.
Her growing friendship with Cara brings out a new side of Gemma that I loved. Their friendship is fun, real and honest.
The man, Jason who Gemma starts a sexual relationship with, is a man trapped in a hateful and spiteful marriage. He loves his job as a famous soccer player, even though his wife tries to take his joy out of that too. She's only invested in the marriage for the fame and public appearances. Her opinion is the minute the world finds out about the them, they stop being Gemma and Jason and becomes a spectacle.
I just got sucked in and addicted to the story. It was so intense and especially their conversations on the chat line. It felt authentic and very real. I could feel the heat and lust between them. It was as if I was listening in on their private conversations. The sex was dirty but it didn't felt wrong, because Gemma was always in control and it was played out exactly as she wanted. It was a different kind of love story and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Jade West has done it again. She knows how to make dirty and filthy very erotic.

Jade West doesn't joke around with her warnings. I want to start my review by saying that if you can't handle a lot of sex, dirty sex and if quotes like this one under shock you, it's maybe best to stay clear from this book.
I would say 65-70 % of the book is about sex. But this is also where Jade West does her magic. She has a way to put a story, a real one behind all this and that works perfectly!
Gemma Taylor is a chat line operator. It's been now two months that a certain caller keeps her attention and stir up her own fantasies.
But they are rules. The chat lines have to stay professional only.

I was enthrall in this story right away for two reasons:
1) I like my reads to be naughty, to be steamy. When I'm in the right mood, it doesn't bother me that the book is filled with sex scenes.
2) Jason reminds me a lot of David Beckham (honestly the guy is HOT as hell) I choose to put him in my casting even if his physical description isn't what Jade describe in her book, everything else made me think about him. His job, his wife and the scandal that goes with it
But I digress, the story wasn't about him and the scandals weren't the same.
Now that the presentations are made, we can get down to the real stuff... the kink
Gemma's fantasy is being taken by multiple partners anonymously.
Jason likes to watch and can offer her a safe environment. He also likes to participate and he likes the premises of anonymity.
Jade West has really step up her writing with Dirty Bad Strangers. I've loved the first two books but this one got me hooked.
The balance between steamy scenes and "normal" situations were perfect. She introduces us , readers, slowly where she wants us. She takes us slowly a little further in the fantasy and she keeps pushing the barriers subtly.
The whole story is based on being strangers and how it is exciting for Gemma and Jason but you can't forget that this is also romance so I was wondering if an HEA were in the cards for this atypical couple.
I also loved how Jade comes to bring her others couples in the book. It's indirect but brilliantly done.
Over three books, Jade West has become an auto-buy author for m and I couldn't advice more for people interested in the genre to grab her books.

I really like this story; could hardly put it down. It was funny, sad, happy, hot, very hot and wild. It was one wild ride. The epilogue left me with a lovely warm feeling.
I liked all the main characters, except of course ‘April’ the bitch; what’s to like about a greedy, grasping, viper like her? Gemma (Lucy) was glorious, absolutely glorious; all soft, and red, and lusciously delicious. Jason was the ‘bomb’; everything I love in an Alp. He was dirty to the bone; it’s who he is, and he found his soulmate in Gemma.
I highlighted so many wonderful pieces of dialogue throughout the narrative; most wonderful, are the funny bits; so unexpected in a hot, steaming hot story like this. I laughed out loud at several of them. Watching Jason fall in love with the lovely Gemma is wonderful:
“Steve laughed, an easy, good-natured one. “She’s probably a moose; you do know that, right? The fit ones do webcam, more money in it.” “This girl’s different. She’s my kind of dirty. She’s bad. I don’t think I’d even ******* care if she’s a moose, I’d *** her anyway.”
“Lucy was real, and she was ******* hot. A soft peach, swollen ripe to be eaten. Yeah, I was excited all right.”
The writing is really engaging. The author has a way with words if she can make me read about football; thought I hated the game but guess not so much now, lol. Miss West can tell a tale, and she does just that. It was an engrossing tale and its pace was pretty consistent throughout. There were times I felt myself drift a bit as one of Gemma’s friends was a real pain, although she needed to be in the story. I just wish there had not been so much about her ‘friends’ and more about her relationship with Jason and his ‘friends’. It really is one of the hottest books I’ve read in a while; it will make you shake and sweat, lol.
The reason 4 instead of 5*’s is simply because it’s highly unlikely I will ever read it again; it is not the soul shaking emotional ride that leaves me forever dying to read again. It lacks that ‘depth’ for me. I do think it would make a great movie.

Her dream to be shared by unknown men and all at once is something she's wanted for so long and Jason is willing to make that dream come true and share it with her. Each night, they grow closer and look forward to the day they can make it happen.
Now Gemma is confident, outgoing, outspoken and comfortable with who she is and with what she wants. She's never been interested in a steady relationship and she's been happy with her life. She's definitely OK with having her rendevous with her dirty stranger and not knowing who he is or what he looks like. She enjoys the mystery and relishes in the rawness those meetings leave behind.

I have yet to open up Dirty Bad Wrong and Dirty Bad Savage , but I sure as hell will be cracking those open soon!!

This was totally dirty, and bad and I loved every minute of it. Gemma was a uninhibited chatline operator and she knew what turned her on, she wasn’t afraid of her sexuality despite the efforts of her “friend” to shut beat her down. jason was just another dirty client until their chats turned into shared fantasies and their desire to act on these fantasies grew.
The anonymity in this book was amazing. Gemma didn't know who Jason was and she didn't want to. She wanted the dirty things he could give her and he was more than happy to oblige. She remained unaware of Jason's true identity for a fair portion of the book and I really liked that they kept that up for so long, though it was surprising considering that he was rather notable. I really liked that she was so confident, her body image issues were very real but she didn't let them control her or dictate what she should do in her life.
Jason needed to be liberated. He knew what he liked but he let his social standing beat him into sexual hiding. He was trapped in his marriage and trapped in the image he portrayed for the public. He was unhappy. Gemma was someone who helped him a lot, more than she could have suspected. I liked how relentlessly he pursued her and that he didn't feed any of her body image issues, he liked her just the way she was. He disappointed me a bit with the situation with his wife. He remained tethered to her for monetary reasons and he agreed to remain in her clutches despite the freedom Gemma showed him.
Overall this book was sooooo kinky and sexy. I loved it!

Well well well that was soooooo dirty bad wrong it was dirty bad right!!!!!! It's like all the fantasy you can't handle but wish you could. It was an excellent read and I did not want to put it down. Jade West really knows how to do it up. Gemma is like how every girl wished she could be, sexy, inhibited, and not afraid to ask for what she wants. Jason is a sexy, hot, super star who just wants to be happy and feel valued. Gemma makes you feel like you could be beautiful and sexy by just being yourself no matter what others may think. I loved this series and I love how hot and sexy and dirty it was!!!!! This is a must read.

I've read the two previous books by Jade West, so I knew what I was getting myself into.
This book was exactly what the title implies. Dirty bad but in a terrific and highly erotic way. It was not just about dirty sex. It had a great and interesting story to back it up.
Gemma is an ordinary, beautiful and curvy woman who works on a sex chat line. She's enjoying life and herself with a lot of no strings attached sex. She shares an apartment with her friend Tessa while her other "friend", Chelsea only wants to make Gemma's life miserable, by criticizing everything Gemma does and how she looks. Even though she tries not to be affected by Chelsea's words, they do show an insecure side of Gemma when it comes to her appearance.
Luckily Gemma finds some new and more free spirited people, when she starts practicing pole dance.
Her growing friendship with Cara brings out a new side of Gemma that I loved. Their friendship is fun, real and honest.
The man, Jason who Gemma starts a sexual relationship with, is a man trapped in a hateful and spiteful marriage. He loves his job as a famous soccer player, even though his wife tries to take his joy out of that too. She's only invested in the marriage for the fame and public appearances. So he finds some relief as well,when he starts seeing Gemma.
At first it's just dirty sex and fantasies between Gemma and Jason. She doesn't want to know anything about him. Only his name. That's why she's blindfolded when they get together. And when they finally do get together is dirty, filthy and raw. But that's exactly what they both want. Until it gets to real and Gemma finds out who Jason really is to the world and to her.
The dilemma they both have when the truth about their relationship and their identities comes out, was something I found very intriguing and interesting. Especially Gemma, had a difficult time with it. She just wants to be anonymous to the world. Her opinion is the minute the world finds out about the them, they stop being Gemma and Jason and becomes a spectacle.
I just got sucked in and addicted to the story. It was so intense and especially their conversations on the chat line. It felt authentic and very real. I could feel the heat and lust between them. It was as if I was listening in on their private conversations. The sex was dirty but it didn't felt wrong, because Gemma was always in control and it was played out exactly as she wanted. It was a different kind of love story and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Jade West doesn't joke around with her warnings. I want to start my review by saying that if you can't handle a lot of sex, dirty sex and if quotes like this one under shock you, it's maybe best to stay clear from this book.
I would say 65-70 % of the book is about sex. But this is also where Jade West does her magic. She has a way to put a story, a real one behind all this and that works perfectly!

Now that the presentations are made, we can get down to the real stuff... the kink

Jade West has really step up her writing with Dirty Bad Strangers. I've loved the first two books but this one got me hooked.
The balance between steamy scenes and "normal" situations were perfect. She introduces us , readers, slowly where she wants us. She takes us slowly a little further in the fantasy and she keeps pushing the barriers subtly.
The whole story is based on being strangers and how it is exciting for Gemma and Jason but you can't forget that this is also romance so I was wondering if an HEA were in the cards for this atypical couple.
I also loved how Jade comes to bring her others couples in the book. It's indirect but brilliantly done.
Over three books, Jade West has become an auto-buy author for m and I couldn't advice more for people interested in the genre to grab her books.

I really like this story; could hardly put it down. It was funny, sad, happy, hot, very hot and wild. It was one wild ride. The epilogue left me with a lovely warm feeling.
I liked all the main characters, except of course ‘April’ the bitch; what’s to like about a greedy, grasping, viper like her? Gemma (Lucy) was glorious, absolutely glorious; all soft, and red, and lusciously delicious. Jason was the ‘bomb’; everything I love in an Alp. He was dirty to the bone; it’s who he is, and he found his soulmate in Gemma.
I highlighted so many wonderful pieces of dialogue throughout the narrative; most wonderful, are the funny bits; so unexpected in a hot, steaming hot story like this. I laughed out loud at several of them. Watching Jason fall in love with the lovely Gemma is wonderful:
“Steve laughed, an easy, good-natured one. “She’s probably a moose; you do know that, right? The fit ones do webcam, more money in it.” “This girl’s different. She’s my kind of dirty. She’s bad. I don’t think I’d even ******* care if she’s a moose, I’d *** her anyway.”
“Lucy was real, and she was ******* hot. A soft peach, swollen ripe to be eaten. Yeah, I was excited all right.”
The writing is really engaging. The author has a way with words if she can make me read about football; thought I hated the game but guess not so much now, lol. Miss West can tell a tale, and she does just that. It was an engrossing tale and its pace was pretty consistent throughout. There were times I felt myself drift a bit as one of Gemma’s friends was a real pain, although she needed to be in the story. I just wish there had not been so much about her ‘friends’ and more about her relationship with Jason and his ‘friends’. It really is one of the hottest books I’ve read in a while; it will make you shake and sweat, lol.
The reason 4 instead of 5*’s is simply because it’s highly unlikely I will ever read it again; it is not the soul shaking emotional ride that leaves me forever dying to read again. It lacks that ‘depth’ for me. I do think it would make a great movie.

Dirty Bad Stranger (Dirty Bad, #3) by Jade West. She is back!!! I truly loved how dirty this book was. This is the story of Gemma who works on a sex chat line and she is good at her job. Her online profile shows her as blond hair, blue eyes and rail thin but Gemma has green eyes and she is a very curvaceous lady with a few extra pounds. Her callers do not know that and she is able to be as dirty as they need for her to be. One caller in particular has a real fancy for his dirty girl as he likes to call her. He likes his sex real dirty, too dirty for the average person but Gemma seems to fit what he wants. He tries to convince Gemma to meet in person which is in direct violation of her job. Jason is who Gemma has been looking for to help fulfill all her dirty secrets. They have been talking consistently and Jason has racked up quite the bill and they know all of each other’s dirty secrets, what he wants to do to her and what she wants done to herself. When they do meet the dirty truly begins. One thing Gemma wants to be blindfolded during their meetings. What I truly loved about this author and her storytelling was on point. I do love dirty and Jade delivered. I give this story 5 Stars. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

I could feel what Gemma felt about the criticism she received. It was heartbreaking. But in this day and age it's just a fact that happens. I wish I could have her stamina to face her fears. But anyway, it was a great book. Great scenes, characters and plot. I hope there are other books that will be released in the Dirty, Bad series. Another thing, is that I appreciate that their story has an ending, although there is more in the series. No freaking cliffhangers. Oh the pacing was kick ass. For me there was never a slow or rushed moment.

Friggin hot. That is what this book is. Friggin hot. It is just Dirty and Bad enough! I have read all of the Dirty Bad books to date and this one does not fail to disappoint. I love that it brings in all of the other characters, but also gives us our own story of Gemma and Jason. Gemma is not our stereotypical size zero. She is your average size girl, beautiful just the way she is. She has needs, but has been unable to fulfill them with the right man. Jason is a star footballer in a loveless marriage. He has his own kinks and fetishes, which has caused him to call a chatline. Jason meets Lucy (Gemma) on the chatline and they develop more than a caller/operator relationship. Things get real and personal for the two, but when they find out who each other is, can they keep their fantasies and relationship going?

This book was the best from the start. I ABSOLUTELY loved it. From the very beginning Jade captured your attention and drew you in with the characters and their personality. By a third of the way through the book I already felt completely satisfied and yet Jade kept bringing more. If you like your books dirty and bad (the good kind) then this book and author is especially for you. Not for the faint of heart and I would definitely want to be alone when reading this. Unless exhibitionism is your style because believe me the book will take you to that level. Happy Reading!

I love that the author paints Gemma as a real, down to earth girl who is beautiful for who she is no matter her dress size. She also does a great job with how the general public and social media treats and talks about BBW. Real everyday women are not super models and neither is Gemma, so it’s easy to connect with her character and her natural beauty. Dirty Bad Strangers is a page turner that will keep you captivated to the very end and needing a change of panties.
