The story line is so great it sizzles without the steamy sex scenes. All Elliot's books have some great laugh out loud moments and some great moral threads.
Really, read the warnings in the front, they make the rest of the book that much better.
Can't wait for more of either series.

I like, I like. Paranormal is something I've only gotten into (reading I mean) in the past few years. this is a good story though you should read the previous books to fully appreciate all it offers. If you are uncomfortable with sex in your story then you won't like this. But if you appreciate a lot of sex complementing your storyline, then this book offers it all. Looking forward to the next one.

Mr. Kay has written a fairly good plot, with good character growth and a few loose ends for further books. I gotta say, even if it was a lousy plot, I'd buy it. His sense of humor is fabulous. Even his book descriptions are hilarious. This is not to say there isn't plenty of danger, mayhem, adrenaline and required skivvy changes.
Good stuff! Buy everything he writes! Really.

Demon - check
Angel - check
Mortal bound to both - check
Witches - check
Were wolves - check
Impossible super natural battles - check
What's not to like .....
One warning - not for the under aged or squimish .... quite a bit of sex - gratuities or not ... it's an integral part of the story and gore galore in some of the battles.

Loved this book. Wasn't really sure what to expect, but will have to admit I was hooked at the whole premise of the story. For the most part, very fast paced. My quibble is the overly-drawn out "apology" the main character seems to offer to his two partners over and over again throughout the book.
Warning: The author's warning is not tongue-in-cheek. Everything mentioned in his warning is in the book. You've been warned, twice now.

Originally found the original story on Literotica.com. After waiting every week for new chapters it's nice to have the entire book at once. Best erotica, and honestly some of the best writing I've ever seen.

You can not possibly read the 2nd book without skipping paragraphs & sometimes even whole pages - I dare someone to tell me they didn't. This unfortunately happens in sequels much to often - a trap some of the best authors seem unable to resist. This book probably only deserves two stars for this reason. The sexual escapades & descriptions continue but after the first book they lose much of their interest & mystery. It truly with all its attempt to shock or illicit responses is nothing more then the same old same old from the 1st book - even the dialogue.
This book also seems to hint more towards this reformed demon still being nothing more then the demon she mostly was from the 1st book, at least towards Alex. He seems to become much more her victim then someone she is or feels bonded to as a slave. A slave which is supposed to be as big a part of who she is as much as her lust. The word victim is also even used much more to describe her "Master & Savior". Her manipulations are constant even to the point of her pretending to be their maid in order to seduce Alex as "someone else" to get him to open up more & more for herself & less for him. The book even ends with Alex seemingly realizing she was always right & her basically responding with some I told you so flippant type of comment - once again enforcing this victim relationship even further. This to me all by itself changes the original storyline which is why I bought this 2nd book at all. To me because of this I also fail to understand how she is still accepted by Rachel & even almost seduced by her as an angel to reveal secrets & NOT just any angel a Dominion.
The story starts out well enough, & in some ways is not that bad - but much like many who die in this book it too seems to die slowly. The FBI are morons at best of times & completely annoying at the worst. The all too many "we are the good guys" comments as justification of their actions is weak & gets played out fast. Last but not least the ending lacks the punch of the first book, Then again I guess the author blew his load when the first book ended with a round trip victory from Hell itself!

Another great book. WANT THE NEXT ONE. Picks up the story right after book one and moves fast. Fun, sexy, fast paced, interesting. Lot of good combinations of stuff in this book as well.
Spoiler!!
So bad guys start disappearing... and eventually the FBI gets involved. And why did it take this long? Yeah good stuff!

The follow up to 'Good Intentions'. Takes up from where the last book finished. I found the two books excellent reading with a very unusual but interesting story. Please read my review for the first book.

This was an enjoyable read. Rachel's off the wall comments had me laughing.
The only negative thing about this book is that I know far too much about the authors sexual fantasies then I ever wanted to know

To follow up "Good Intentions" with a fantastic sequel like this is amazing! Great tapestry woven out of the spiritual and the sensual, along with great historical accuracy! And... hot, hot, hot.
Waiting for the next book!!!!!

It’s really embarrassing to say that I liked this book.
After reading the Good Intentions there was no way not to read the 2nd.
I would prefer it with the sex turned down just a little, gets a little repetitious.
But I was looking for something different to read, and these 2 worked for me.
I liked the level of commitment between the 3 main characters.
Hopefully there will be more to follow. Soon . . . . like before I die ??

The sex is frequent, promiscuous, and explicit but redeeming features are humor, ethics, friendship, and intelligent ideas. On workmanship of author and editor, only caught one spelling mistake in over 500 pages. Rachel's swearing irritating without being necessary to the story. Helen

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have read the first in the series several times and now that I have this one I am sure I will do the same for it. I have read a lot of Mr. Kay's work and always look for new stuff.

Read both first and second book in two and a half days and that was while working full time on both days.
