Very difficult to find anything unless you don't mind going from page 1 until you stumble across what your looking for. Example. I have no idea
how long it took me to find information on camera use. I believe when you have a poor user and a poor user guide all you have is frustration!

I highly recommend this book - especially for non-techies like myself! I am now very confident in using my Fire and am enjoying it immensely, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions and resources the authors provide.

I appreciated the down-to-earth review for actual usage. I also appreciated that it is specific to the particular Kindle Fire that I purchased -- it is hard to tell them apart sometimes. No need to wonder if a particular section pertained or to skip over sections that did not pertain.

First of all, I will not be a "verified purchaser" as my son bought this (VERY RELUCTANTLY) for me under his account. He was right. This book has no index, which I knew from previewing it, but without one it has virtually no use for me. I was able to 'set up' my tablet prior to purchasing the book and I'm not a techie. The problem I am experiencing is that there are relatively few points that are explained step by step. They all seem to begin in a place where I am not. I need help using this tablet for a variety of things and this book is no help in most cases.

Relatively useless. It basically answers ordinary stuff = little better than info on tablet == If you want to know what some symbols mean etc It doesn't tell you . It has little to say on obscure symbols on various apps like Audible. You have to phone to get help. Basically not worth the time or the money
