Since the first book in the "If I Run" series didn't end, I bought this second book. Seriously, another non-ending story?! The plot just keeps rehashing the same events of the first book. Another fake ID, or two, more burner phones purchased. NOTHING NEW!! I give up. No more for me!

This is the second book out of three in a series and I have read book one and liked it and the characters of Dylan Roberts and Casey Cox are interesting and the storyline of the dirty cops who are hunting down Casey for a murder she didn't commit is strong,
But the problem with these novels is stretching them to three books and having Casey so close to getting caught by the cops over and over to evade them once again even after getting physically injured and then helping others who come into her life is too much. She helped rescue a kidnapped woman in the first book and then this one has her helping a man whose Bible she found in a motel nightstand all while still being on the run and trying to solve her friend's murder that she is being framed for?
She isn't a detective but solves these crimes by following people and piecing together the puzzle and it is almost ridiculous. I won't be reading the third book as I can easily see how Dylan will help her get her freedom and keep her from being prosecuted in the end and I don't need to wade through another 300+ page book to find out the predictable ending.

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review*

Once again, Terri Blackstock provides us with another fast-paced, gripping read—full of moments of action and unexpected twists equal to those of it’s predecessor. Blackstock skillfully creates a novel that is suspenseful, exciting, and completely addictive. The end of each chapter keeps you wanting more, making it an engrossing read that is extremely hard to put down. She continues to capture her readers with shocking—and some times infuriatingly unjust—developments, as well as characters that are easy to connect with and care about. And even as the book comes to a close, the final pages are enough to leave any reader craving more.

Casey and Dylan’s story continues as she runs for her life from the corrupt detectives who are bent on capturing her and as he works to save Casey from the dangers that lie back in Shreveport. Much like the first novel, this one is primarily a dual perspective narrative, split between Casey and Dylan. However, one notable difference is that we get a small glimpse into the mind of Detective Gordon Keegan, Casey’s most immoral and relentless pursuer.

Again, Blackstock does a wonderful job of giving each narrator a very distinctive voice, and I enjoyed being able to hear multiple sides of the story. Her writing and transitioning between perspective is very fluid, and she has a style that is easy to read and get swept away with. However, one thing I would have liked to have seen more of in terms of the narrative was Detective Keegan’s point of view. It made the story even more riveting to have a narrator speaking from such an opposing view to Casey’s and Dylan’s, but he ends up only narrating two chapters in the entire novel.

I loved getting to see more of Casey and Dylan, and really diving in to their personalities and what causes them to act in the ways that they do. There was a lot more detail about their individual struggles and how they are pushing on, trying to find ways to overcome these obstacles. It was also exciting to finally see their individual storylines truly—and literally—converge. These two kind and caring souls will do anything they can to make sure justice is served, and finally seeing them interact shows how well they compliment each other.

Casey is such an amazing heroine; she is so caring and puts everyone else’s needs above her own at all times. There were certain instances where I found myself a little frustrated by what she was doing. The obviously dangerous risks she was taking were much more prominent and a little bit more outlandish in this book. However, as I think back on these moments, they were very representative of her overall selflessness, and I applaud Blackstock for further demonstrating this as well as how she has both evolved and stuck with her natural instincts during her time as a fugitive.

I noted Blackstock’s ability to create very relatable and engaging characters in the first novel and that continues to be strong in this one as well. The subplots are definitely less developed than last time, however, this is indicative of Casey having a decreased ability to linger in one place for an extended amount of time. Despite this, I felt that the new side characters and their own storylines were fairly well-developed. She once again adds an equally intriguing subplot into the cat-and-mouse chase that is the main narrative.

This novel deals much more heavily with the subjects of faith and religion than the previous installment did—particularly on Christianity as a whole, and Casey’s gradual understanding of God. I find that it can be a rather difficult task to use these themes in a story without overpowering the reader, especially if they do not follow the same practices as described. Personally, I easily get very uncomfortable when reading about or discussing religion, simply because I believe it is a deeply personal and private thing. I am by no means against novels having elements of religion in them, in fact I applaud authors for using a subject like this, but only when it is done correctly.

Blackstock, in my opinion, went about addressing this topic in a good way. As I said, I find that I can be extremely sensitive to this subject being brought up—however, I did not feel completely overwhelmed by it at any point in time. While Blackstock does focus in on Christianity, the main message that she is sending is about having faith, both in ourselves and possibly in a power that is greater than any of us.

Casey is gradually building her own faith, her own view of God, of heaven, of prayer, and it is ever-changing as her journey continues. Her faith is woven into her struggle in a beautiful and poignant way, coming into her life when she needs it most. And Blackstock writes this all in a very accessible way, not one that would turn of the reader.

Casey’s journey into her own faith is something that most people go through and continue to go through for their entire lives. Faith and religion is something that is somewhat indefinable because we each experience it in a different way. It is constantly evolving, and it’s sole purpose is to provide us with what we need the most at any given time throughout our lives. This is the message that resonates in each detail of the experiences these characters go through in this novel—something that is unique to each one and fills them with the strength they need to carry on through the best and worst times.

The only real complaint I have with this novel is that I found some of the events to be a bit of a stretch when it came to believability. Like the previous book, Casey demonstrates her amazing intellect and self-preservation as she navigates the world under the radar of those searching for her. However, this time around, there were some moments that seemed just a little too perfect—a little too unlikely. Extreme situations that seemingly had no possible way to end well always managed to turn in her favor. And while I definitely enjoyed seeing her conquer each obstacle, some had a slight “deus ex machina” feel to them.

Even though I ended up not enjoying this book quite as much as the previous one, this was still an incredibly action-packed read that had me on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next. I flew through this book, cheering Casey and Dylan on, deeply feeling each moment of triumph and injustice. Blackstock knows how to grab a reader’s attention and not let go until the heart-pounding finale. I am really looking forward to reading more of this story and finding out the fates of these characters I have come to love.

I was so eager to read "If I'm Found" after reading the first book of the series "If I Run". It was difficult to wait because I wanted to know what would happen next to Casey Cox and how Dylan Roberts would handle his pursuit of her. I am happy to say that I was not at all disappointed. Once again, my only complaint is that it ended much too soon.

The story is a unique one in which the man hired to find and arrest Casey suspects her innocence and stays just close enough on her trail to protect her from the true murderers and keep them thinking he hasn't caught up to her. There are plenty of close calls, often because Casey just can't keep herself from helping others which frequently places her in danger. I like both Dylan and Casey more with each book. Their integrity and faith are strong in the face of nearly hopeless circumstances.

Terri Blackstock is one of the best when it comes to riveting mystery and suspense. I loved "If I'm Found and can't wait for the final book in this series but will certainly be sorry when it is over.

My wife writes: The first series I read by Terri Blackstock was The Cape Refuge Series, and I was hooked. As with that series, the characters in If I’m Found were well developed from the beginning, I felt like I knew them and was cheering for them right away. It was even possible to feel connected to the villain in his few short chapters.

Each chapter in the book is told from the point of view of one of the main characters. This is primarily Dylan, a male private investigator, and Casey, a female protagonist fleeing from a murder she didn’t commit. Having not read the first book, I was occasionally unable to immediately determine who was who, since Dylan and Casey are both gender-neutral names. Right away I liked Dylan who had to balance earning the trust of both Casey and his employers, which was a conflict of interest.

Unfortunately the plot lacked the depth that I’ve seen in some of the other stories by Blackstock. Solving the murder from which Casey is fleeing will span at least three books, so the first two books in the series contain a subplot of another mystery that needs to be resolved. It feels like the plot could have been better told in a single book, or Blackstock could have spent more time on the subplots, making this story as well-told and engaging as her other stories. That being said, the story was catching enough that I still plan to read to the first book in the series.

I came into the trilogy in the second book but it was surprisingly easy to follow along without having read the first. In "If I'm Found" by Terri Blackstock, Casey Cox has been accused of murdering her close friend Brent Pace, and is still on the run. According to my understanding, she was nearly caught by law enforcement after helping a kidnapped girl and her child escape at the end of the first book.

That's the problem I have with this book. Casey, for being a fugitive, has a serious God-complex, and involves herself in things that she shouldn't have, like with Cole Whittington. During a stay in a motel, she found a bible with what appeared to be his suicide note. Of course she has to look him up, drive over, risk her identity, see if he's alive, return the Bible. It was so frustrating, reading about her actions. She's on the run, she's supposed to discover how to catch the real killer, who has time to return a bible? Then she has to insert herself into his personal drama instead of keeping her nose clean.

References to God and how Casey is "such a brave person" are also heavy-handed. The fact that she's managed to stay alive through two books is really by sheer luck, not because she has any wits about her.

Additional characters in the book are Dylan, a veteran with PTSD. Other than a few instances where he's triggered, we do not see much of how he actually suffers from it. It's always, Dylan has PTSD! I would have really liked to see more show versus tell in this book. There are also two dirty cops in this novel, who may be behind a string of killings. A motive is lightly explained but the writer doesn't go into further detail.

The book is filled with a lot of "this is what this character is doing" but there's not a lot of weight to their actions.

It's also clear that the characters are placed into very stringent good and bad roles, there's no gray. Casey is a brave person, Dylan is just trying to do the right thing, etc.

I also stopped reading fifty or so pages before the end because I couldn't take it anymore. I don't actually know what happens at the end and I feel like that's fine.

Thanks to my relationship with The Fiction Guild's Elite Reader Program, I was lucky enough to be a part of reading and reviewing the first book in this series, If I Run, by Terri Blackstock (see review HERE).

Today' post is for the second book in the series by Terri Blackstock called If I'm Found. If you haven't read the first book, If I Run, that's okay, but I think you might miss a little bit of the story and perhaps some parts of this book may not make sense. However, I do like books like the books in this series where they run in a trilogy.  Book 2 picks up where book 1 left off. I'm hoping book 3 picks up immediately after book 2.

The main characters are still the same and Casey Cox is still on the run fleeing prosecution for the murder she didn't commit. She's running for her life from the crooked cops who killed her father.  Her nemesis, Dylan Roberts, is also back but the evidence is beginning to convince Dylan that Casey isn’t the hardened fugitive he once imagined.  Dylan is a man of God determined to bring justice to the wrongs committed.

I really loved it when Casey began to seriously consider giving faith a chance and how he was drawn to God.  As Casey's need to understand who God is and what it means to have faith in Him, she's learning to find God and know Him in the little things.  It's always great to watch someone's faith journey grow in front of our eyes.

"There's no other explanation but God. . . I barely know him, but I think he must know me."

Although it was totally obvious that the bond was going to happen sooner or later, I loved that Casey and Dylan found something meaningful in one another.  You can sense how well they are matched and anticipate their chemistry in the very first moment they meet.

I liked how there was so much danger and suspense in the story and that it seemed like Casey was never really safe and always had to keep moving. The characters were well written, the pace was good and the tension was real.  I can't wait to read book 3!!

As an aside, this 3 book series has book covers that when put together, are super cool.

I received a paperback copy of this book without cost from the publisher through The Fiction Guild, a Thomas Nelson/Zondervan book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I am almost finished listening to the audio book, and while I'm enjoying the plot pretty much (a lot is unbelievable to me, but it's a story), I have to say I have been surprised by all the religion brought into it. Looking back now at the tags, I see "Christian" along with mystery and suspense, so I should have paid more attention, I guess. That being said, however, I can't help feeling that all the religious sections just sound forced to me, especially the way Casey reacts to Dylan's words, and is suddenly being "awakened" to the possibilities of being a Christian. Personally, I didn't choose the book to be informed about Jesus. I just was looking for an entertaining mystery. I plan to finish listening to the book, but doubt I'll read the next in the series.

If I’m Found by Terri Blackstock is book two in the If I Run trilogy. This book picks up where the last book left off, with Casey on the run as she and Dylan work together to compile a case against the corrupt cops who are searching for her.

Similar to If I Run, If I’m Found was an entertaining thriller with two storylines going on at once. The constant theme was Casey’s plight as she dodged cops to avoid a wrongful murder charge. The secondary storyline was centered around a man she met who was wrongly accused of molesting a child. While Casey should be focused on helping herself, she can’t help but get sucked into helping others.

I enjoyed this book and felt as though it was on par with the first book in the trilogy. I can’t say it’s a knock-it-out-of-the-park book or one that will make my favorites list anytime soon, but it was a light read and an enjoyable way to pass the time during my work commute. The writing was decent, and the pacing was good. I found that time passed quickly as I listened to the book.

I liked the overall storyline of the book. It was interesting, and I appreciated reading from the perspectives of Casey, Dylan, and one of the corrupt cops. I enjoy books that have different perspectives, so this was a win for me. That said, parts of the story felt a bit contrived. The secondary storyline with the wrongly accused man felt a bit forced and didn’t flow as seamlessly as the secondary storyline in If I Run. I also didn’t care for the romance in If I’m Found. That, too, felt forced and unrealistic given the situation.

The ending was a bit abrupt. As with the first book, the secondary storyline drew to a close, but the primary storyline will continue into the last book. Regardless, I’m eager to find out what happens next!

The character development was decent in If I’m Found. I felt as though I had a decent connection with Casey, though my connection with Dylan was looser. The characters in the trilogy are a bit cookie-cutter for my liking, but they’re still enjoyable.

The narrator in the audiobook is the same as the first book. I didn’t care for the voice-acting in If I Run, but I didn’t mind it quite as much in If I’m Found. I think I’ve finally gotten used to the narrator’s voice and style of reading the books.

Should you read this trilogy? Honestly, despite my gripes, it really is an entertaining series! If you enjoy thrillers and have room on your TBR shelf, this one is worth picking up.

This is a sequel to If I Run. This book does not stand well on its own and I recommend the previous novel be read before this one.

In the first novel, Casey is wrongly accused of murder. She goes on the run. In this novel, she is on the run. This book does not move the plot along very much. Casey and Dylan do have some adventures but only a little more of the original mystery is uncovered. Most of the action in this novel is secondary.

The novel is written in first person and present tense. I do not like that writing style at all. Some of the story is from Casey's first person account, some from Dylan's, and even some from Keegan's. It gets really confusing when Casey and Dylan meet and are together for a while. One chapter will be first person Casey while the next chapter will be first person Dylan. I remember that during some of their interaction I read, “I smiled.” I stopped, realizing I had no idea which person that referred to and had to go back a bit to remind myself which person had the viewpoint in this chapter. I ultimately found the writing style disconcerting.

One of my requirements for a good novel is that the suspense not originate from stupid actions by the characters. Unfortunately, Casey does some stupid things, even when she tells Dylan she will not, and then gets into trouble.

I was disappointed in this novel. I have read many of Blackstock's novels and this is not her best.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

**Original review on Goodreads and My Blog**

Casey was charged with a crime she didn't commit. It turns out there are some dirty people in the book that are trying to place the blame on Casey. It seems these people have been killing people for quite some time. I sort of know some of the things these murderers are doing but not totally. I don't know the whole reasoning behind everything and the main person calling all of the shots.

Dylan is a PI that has been working for the family who's son was killed and blamed on Casey, they think it was her as well. The evidence does point right at her but . . .

Dylan starts to believe Casey in the first book and he shows that more in this second book. He knows who the real killers are and is working on bringing them down. Casey is still running but helping him a long the way.

Casey also finds some people and children to help in the book that are having troubles of their own. She doesn't succeed in helping one which is really sad. It was a really bad situation and I felt sorry for the person. Casey did this in the first book as well, she has a good heart and gets sidetracked along the way to help others.

Casey's sister tells her to quit doing stuff for others and try to get her named cleared because her whole family is in danger. These are ruthless killers that don't care who they kill.

I want to find out what the end game is going to be in the last book.

If I'm Found was a great sequel to If I Run. I absolutely loved the first book and was eager to pick up this book to see what would happen next. I finally got around to it and it was a good read. I feel like it moved a bit more slowly than the first book, but that wasn't a bad thing.

I liked how there was so much danger and suspense in the story. It seemed like she was never truly safe and needed to keep moving, which definitely brought some drama.

I loved both of the main characters and I cannot wait to read the final book to see how it all ends. I recommend this series (so far) to fans of suspense.

Terri Blackstock loves to give you a thrill ride and have you gasping and wondering what is she gonna write next! Casey is still running from the police and still wants to help anyone she can. Casey meets Cole a man who almost committed suicide and is accused of a crime. Will Casey help Cole or will she keep running? Dylan knows Casey is innocent and is trying to get evidence of the bad cops so he can put them away. But who can Dylan trust? Will Casey finally ever feel safe? Will Dylan prove to Casey with God on her side she can get threw anything? I'm loving this series the twist and turns the wanting to turn the page and now we got Keegan's point of view in the book and you just want to yell and scream at that cruel, evil man! I love how we see all of Casey her feelings even with all that's against her she helps anyone who needs it. Dylan we see him struggle with his PTSD and how he's determined to help Casey no matter what. I can't wait to read book 3 and find out what happens next! Such a emotional book that you want to beg the author for more! 5/5 stars ****Reviewed for Sweet & Spicy Read provided for a voluntarily Advanced Reader Copy of this book ****

Exciting continuation of Casey's flight from a murder charge in book 1, If I Run. The hubby and I love classic TV and we spent last year watching the entire series of The Fugitive: The Complete Series. These books are very reminiscent of that. Not only is Casey fleeing for her life while desperately trying to clear her name, but she is also running into injustices along the way that she tries to right despite the risk to her own capture.

This is not usually the type of book I pick up (I'm a historical fiction kind of girl), but the similarity to The Fugitive made me pick up books one and two...and I hate that I have to wait for book 3! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but the books are very suspenseful and exciting. Definitely a page turner...!

About the Book:
After fearing for her life and fleeing the clutches of two dirty cops, Keegan and Rollins, Casey Cox continues to hide in one town after another disguising herself and obtaining false identities along the way. But this time, she has an ally. Dylan Roberts, the detective hired to find Casey and bring her to justice, has been secretly performing his own investigation researching clues and sharing his evidence with her. As the two begin comparing notes, they uncover scathing evidence of bullying by law enforcement officers, money laundering, and more than one questionable “accidental” death. Sensing his heart beginning to intertwine with hers and realizing Casey is in more danger than ever, Dylan desperately tries to keep her safe despite her insistence on putting herself in danger to help others. However, Casey’s bent for justice can’t resist helping a young girl she suspects of being sexually abused or the suicidal man who has been wrongly accused of the crime placing Casey nearly within Rollins and Keegan’s grasp.

My Thoughts:
If I’m Found is the exciting “part two” of Blackstock’s If I Run series. The danger Casey faces in this novel escalates several levels from If I Run leaving her narrowly missing being captured by Keegan and Rollins on more than one occasion. The excitement was intense to the point that I actually caught myself holding my breath a few times! The sweet development of Casey and Dylan’s feelings for one another was an added bonus to the storyline. Packed with action, danger and romance that’s sure to please!

This review contains my own thoughts and opinions. I have not been compensated by the publisher or author in any way.

I read book one and knew that I would have to get book two as soon as I could. When I was browsing the books on the school library cart I saw this one. Grabbed it and started reading it.

Poor Casey she is still on the run from the people who killed her father, yet she can not stop helping people who are in trouble. The case she helps solves in this one is a bit heartbreaking and I am glad she was willing to get herself caught just to help a suicidal man and an abused little girl. It just goes to show just how good of a person Casey is, yet no one truly wants to believe her but Dylan and her sister.

The author did a great job with how Dylan handled his PTSD in this story, it felt real and not a lot of authors can write about something that is so real.

Now this book does have some talk about God but it is not the kind that is shoved down your throat. She writes it in a way that you can understand and still not feel like religion plays a huge part in the story.

In the end, we know there will be a third book because Dylan and Casey's story is far from over. Dylan not only has to protect Casey but himself. Casey has to learn to trust Dylan and have faith in God.

Terri Blackstock has long been my favorite author, for going on 15 years now! This book was NOT a disappointment in the slightest. It's the second in a series and you definitely want to read them in order (I found the first at my local library.)

This book continues the story of Casey, who is on the run from some very corrupt police officers who killed her father (also a cop) when she was a girl. I loved the mutual story not only of Casey, but of the soldier who is in pursuit of her. How their lives slowly seem to intertwine. How God uses people daily in little ways and makes our paths clear, even if we don't see it until after the fact.

As far as suspense goes, this is definitely less so than her previous books in many series. Still a very compelling read, I generally prefer a higher paced conspiracy theory type novel. This one is gentler but also more interesting and deeper in many ways. I love the little sub story in each book in this series... a God moment that the character is thrown into and has to solve and do good with. Highly recommend!

Zondervan and NetGalley provided me with an electronic copy of If I'm Found. I was under no obligation to review this book and my opinion is freely given.

Casey Cox is still a fugitive evading capture for her alleged role in a murder, but she now has private detective Dylan Roberts on her side. With crooked police detectives Gordon Keegan and Sy Rollins hot on her tail, will Casey be able to collect enough evidence against them in time to save herself. When Casey gets involved helping someone who is being persecuted, will she sacrifice herself for the good of others?

Having read If I Run previously, I was aware that If I'm Found could be classified as Christian suspense fiction. As the religious aspects of the story in book one were more on the periphery, I expected the plot here to be driven in much of the same way. The author diverted to religion much more in If I'm Found, using it to explain certain parts of the plot instead of writing more plausible reasons. The plot suffered as a result, leaving it less realistic than it could have been. Knowing how dangerous it was to be in public, it did not make any sense how many chances Casey took. That being said, I did like how the characters used the power of the media to their advantage, as our tech driven society often does. Readers who like Christian suspense fiction will like If I'm Found, but I would recommend those who are new to the series to read If I Run first.

This is the second book in the If I Run Series by Terri Blackstock. In this novel, we find Casey Cox still a fugitive on the run, seeking to clear her name and gather evidence to convict the men responsible for the death of her father and her friend. There are plenty of close encounters and dramatic moments scattered throughout the book. We get to learn more about Dylan, the private investigator hired to help track her down.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a page-turner and I was able to finish the novel in just a couple days. I was relieved to find out that the third book "If I Live" has already been released so I can find out what happens next.

While I probably would not have behaved quite the way the main character does (if I was a fugitive on the run with people trying to kill me, I probably wouldn't make it my life's mission to get involved in numerous "rescue" attempts. I'd probably be working in a Waffle House in Idaho trying to blend into the wallpaper...but that wouldn't make for a very interesting novel, lol).

I'm curious to see how the series wraps up. After book two, I'm fully invested.

I am a huge fan of Christian Suspense novels and last year I chose a book off my Kindle to read and completed it in less than a day. That book was Terri Blackstock's book, "If I Run". which was the first book in her "If I Run" series. Needless to say, I was hooked. Not just on the series but on Ms. Blackstock's writing.

While you could read "If I'm Found" without reading the first book in the series, "If I Run", I wouldn't advise it as the this book is a continuation of the first book, and because the first book was so good you really must read it first.

From the first sentence, "The police lights in my rearview mirror almost destroy me." to the very last I was catapulted into a fast paced, sit on the edge of your seat, good guys versus bad guys pursuit that literally left me breathless. Had I had the time I would have read it in one sitting as it was one of those books you just don't want to put down.

Casey is the heroine of the series that has been wrongfully accused of the murder of her friend. She seems to stay just one step ahead of the real killers while trying to gather evidence that will not only clear her name but put the killers behind bars. Enter, Dylan, while he has been hired to find her, he has realized she is innocent and is now using his job to find her as a way to help clear her of everything she has been accused of doing.

In the first book, Ms. Blackstock gave us a sub-plot that was full of danger and helped create more mystery into the story line. Don't worry, in "If I Run", she has added another sub-plot that takes the reader into a different direction allowing the reader to see even deeper into Casey's heart.

I loved the Christian thread that was woven into the story as well because it let the reader see that there is hope even in your darkest of hours.

As mentioned before, you will want to read the first book in the series as this is a continuation series. In fact, the reader is left hanging as far as the major plotline. However, the subplot is tied up quite nicely and the relationship between Casey and Dylan, well, let's just say, I was happy with the way they left things...for now anyway. I can hardly wait for book three, "If I Live", which releases in March 2018.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense novel. It is fast paced and heart pounding and well worth your time between the pages.

I would like to thank BookLook Bloggers and Zondervan for my copy of "If I'm Found". I received my copy for free in order to read it and give my honest review.

On a 5-Star Scale = 5 Stars!!!!!

If I'm Found picks up where If I Run left off - right in the middle of the action. Casey is on the run, pursued for a crime she didn't commit. Dylan, private investigator, is on her tail, but he knows something isn't right, especially with the two detectives who seem so quick to condemn Casey.

In If I Run, readers were first introduced to Casey, who discovered the murdered body of her friend. She ran, knowing that asking Brent to investigate her father's death may have led to his murder. She has to keep running when she is publicly accused of his death. Dylan, also a friend of Brent's, a returned solider, and now Private Investigator, is asked to help track down Casey. But he slowly comes to realise that Casey might have been framed.

As with If I Run, this book follows Casey's story and Dylan's continuing investigation but also includes a concurrent mystery, one that Casey helps solve. That's what takes this book from exciting to edge-of-your-seat. There is nothing that gets me riled like an innocent wrongly accused, and in If I'm Found there are two such people.

With some books that have duel perspectives I sometime find myself hurrying through one perspective to get back to the action of the other's. Not with If I'm Found. Both Casey and Dylan's stories are totally gripping - Dylan as he works to uncover evidence against the dirty detectives and Casey as she runs and then later becomes involved in the Cole Whittington case. Both stories work together and yet have enough of their own action and drama to be addictive. It's also nice to get to know both Casey and Dylan a little bit better. We get more of an insight into Dylan's PTSD, more insight into Casey's past and her present as she discovers God and fights for survival. Dylan and Casey also continue developing a romantic awareness of each other.

The ending of If I'm Found gives readers a small measure of resolution but leaves plenty of entanglements that will need to be concluded in the third and final book. I am very eager to read the next instalment in Casey's adventure and hope she and Dylan can finally win some of the peace for which they long and catch those bad guys.

The publishers provided an advanced readers copy of this book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

After finding a friend's murdered body and leaving behind her DNA all over the scene, Casey is on the run from the law... not to avoid prison, but for her life. Hired by the deceased parents, Dylan sets out to catch her. Meanwhile he uncovers some cops have gone bad and doesn't believe Casey is guilty like they want everyone to believe. This book we see the two of them join forces, as Casey decides to trust Dylan and allows him to help protect her while they try to find the evidence they need to bring down the bad guys, all the while keeping them from finding and catching her. (Yet still keep them in the dark about what the two of them are really doing.) The prime suspects (AKA the evil cops) are starting to catch on making it more difficult to hide.

This is part two of a trilogy and you will need to read book one (If I Run) before reading this one. As is the case with book one, this one has a mini mystery within the main one that runs through the series. The mini one is solved by the end of this book, but the other does not have a conclusion (thus you'll have to read book 3 (If I Live) to get the complete story.) This is a Christian based book, but it's not in your face. If you are a non-believer you can still enjoy the story. It is a thriller.suspense, but there isn't a lot of violence. No sex. There is a wee bit more romance than book one, but totally safe for younger readers. Though, there are some disturbing situations that could be upsetting to some people. (Nothing that is played out in the book, but rather mentioned or eluded to.) It's well written and captivating. You'll want to read it in one sitting. The characters are complex and smart, and the whole story is well played out.

Again, we are taken along for Casey Cox’s ride as a fugitive and only suspect in an alleged crime she did not commit, the murder of her friend Brent. Casey along with Dylan Roberts, the private investigator hired to find her and who ultimately becomes her best ally, make attempts to out crooked cops, Keegan and Rollins, who have blood on their hands for the staged death of her father and most likely Brent’s life as well.

It did take a little bit for this installment to take off, but there is plenty of suspense and intensity throughout. For an individual who is going to great lengths to remain undercover, Casey tends to do some pretty foolish things. Why her sister recognized this before she did baffled me. The author again paints the picture of Casey’s intense need to care for others and do what is morally right being a great hindrance on her survival. Without spoilers, some of the occurrences throughout the book are easily predictable and the side-plots seem a bit far fetched, but I suppose it’s needed in the story line. There were also potions of the book that made me feel uneasy. I always have a large discomfort when child molestation is brought up in a book, or any harm towards a child for that matter. Thankfully the author does not go into great detail on this horrific topic, but it still made me feel uncomfortable each time it was brought up.

Although it was quite obvious this was bond to happen, I am a sucker for love and love that Casey and Dylan found something meaningful in one another. It’s made me eager to see the lengths he will go to clear her name. I felt that the author also revealed that they brought a sense of comfort to each other, almost in the way that their union will help them to heal from their tragic pasts. Terri Blackstock did a wonderful job of creating two characters that you cannot help but route for. I also appreciated that she has entangled a few chapters from Keegan’s point of view in this installment to stir up more hatred emotions towards this villain with an “untouchable” complex.

I initially wanted to turn away from reading this series upon noting this literature is considered Christian Fiction. I most definitely am not one who practices or preaches. In my opinion the inclusion of Christianity is minimal and its teachings are not something that is personified throughout If I Run. Thus, I pressed on with the If I Run series. However, If I’m Found is a bit more Christian-preachy as you get toward the latter half of the book. This kind of turned me off, but I will press on with the continuation of this series as I am interested to see how the story continues to unfold. I am hopefully that Casey will have her freedom back at the conclusion of book #3, If I Live (expected in March 2018.)

P.S.: I think it’s important to make light of something that Terri Blackstock subliminally brings up within the book, our obsessions with our phones and social media. Every time Lydia’s neglect of her son was mentioned I felt such intense hated for her. Lydia does not play a substantial role in the book, and to be honest I felt the author merely wrote her in not only to show the emotional longing Casey has to be reunited with her family, but to make a point on yet another misfortunate characteristic in society.

I am blown away by this series. Not only is it an interesting storyline, but Ms. Blackstock has such a way with words. A good suspense story will keep you on your toes, always looking over your shoulder, biting your nails, and keep your heart pounding through every scene. This book does that and more. I couldn't put it down. If I didn't have to work, I would have read it in one day, all in one sitting. It was that good.

Let me start by gushing over how much I enjoy reading about Casey. Sure, her main focus is to not get caught, but then these things seem to happen that pull her back into the real world. Some may say that she grew weak in wanting to help the people she met along the way. I see her differently. I see her as this strong woman who has powerful instincts to help others in distress, even if it puts herself at risk. I found myself easily relating to her and sympathizing with her. Part of me was screaming to ignore these situations and save herself, and part of me was screaming to please help these poor people no matter what happens. I'm not going to lie, there are some tough topics in this book. But they are presented well, and in more of a tell you it's happening kind of way rather than go into gruesome details. I'm glad the author chose to present them in this fashion because I found it easier to read.

I'm glad Ms. Blackstock stuck to having a couple different POVs throughout the chapters. It is nice as a reader to see how two sides are coming together (Dylan and Casey). It makes the storyline more enjoyable, more exciting, and more emotional. You really get to see the emotional connection start to form between Dylan and Casey in this installment. And don't mistake that for being a sappy love story, it is anything but that. Relying on each other and only on each other makes them form this bond that they probably cannot even identify with everything that's going on. But I certainly think it sets the tone for future possibilities!

Now that this installment is over I find myself sad and eagerly awaiting the next installment to come out. Having to wait for almost a year to read that is going to be torture. But, I'm almost certain book three will be worth the wait. :)

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

** “Loneliness is too crushing a weight to bear alone. Jesus never promised to erase his believers’ burdens, but he did vow to help carry them.” **

Another great suspense novel, Terri Blackstock’s “If I’m Found” is once again told from the first-person perspectives of main characters Casey Cox — on the run from the police for possibly killing her good friend Brent; Dylan Roberts — Brent’s childhood friend recently discharged from the army, suffering from PTSD, and hired to find Casey; and occasionally Gordon Keegan — the potentially corrupt detective who just may be responsible for Brent’s death.

“If I’m Found” picks up immediately after the series’ first installment, “If I Run,” with Casey still on the run, still trying to learn the truths about Keegan and his partner and reveal corruption within the police department, and still trying to exonerate herself.

While hiding in a motel, she stumbles across a Bible containing a suicide note. Casey knows she must hunt down the note’s writer, Cole Whittington, and find out if he’s still alive. She has no idea what kind of scenario this act of compassion will pull her into though — one of false accusations, ripped apart families, horrible parents, and child molestation.

Casey must decide whether she’s willing to put everything on the line and sacrifice herself to protect this man and an innocent 7-year-old girl, Ava.

Blackstock does a great job moving the story along, going back and forth mainly between Casey and Dylan’s perspectives, ultimately bringing their stories together. She continues to come up with many creative ways for Casey to hide from the authorities, and adds a great and powerful secondary story with Cole and little Ava.

Beyond just being a suspense novel, “If I’m Found” tackles some deep themes like suicide, molestation, incompetent parenting, the plight of veterans and post traumatic stress disorder. It touches on the need to call out to God for help and the need for Him in our lives, and tackles that oh-so-hard question “Why is evil winning so much?” Blackstock also includes a very solid and bold salvation message in her novel.

The final installment, “If I Live,” is not due until March 2018, unfortunately! We will have to wait until then to see if Casey truly accepts God into her life, if she clears her name and brings justice to the corrupt officers, and if she can ever stop running.

Five stars out of five.

*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book from Smith Publicity*

Thank you so very much Smith Publicity!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! :)

After that action packed ending in If I Run I couldn't wait to dive into this one!! This installment picks up right where the last one left off. I am seriously obsessed with this series!! I can't get enough of it!! It's been a long time since I've been so addicted to a series. I think that I love this one even more than the first. Just like with the first one I had to finish this in one sitting. Things are even more intense and risky for Casey this time around. My heart was practically jumping out of my chest again.

I held my breath so many times as I awaited answers and was faced with shocking truths. This story made me feel every emotion under the sun. The suspense drove me nuts in the best way.

It was so nice being back inside of Casey's mind again and Dylan's. I fell in love with Dylan even more. The pain that they both went through ripped me apart on the inside. I wasn't sure how things would end.

Ms.Blackstock blowed my mind once again!! I really enjoy her writing. I felt as if she showed us different sides to both of the main characters which thrilled me. That ending!! All I can say is "I NEED More!!" ! :)

If you haven't already One-Clicked, What are you waiting for?!?!?! Buy it Today!! Haven't picked up the first book in the series yet? Get it ASAP!! Trust me, you do NOT want to miss out on this series!! I devoured both Book 1 & Book 2 in one day. Be prepared to question everyone and everything. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did my fellow book lovers!! 4.75 Stars all around!! :)

What an incredible follow up book to If I Run! I cannot wait for the third book of the series. After all Casey and Dylan have been through in the two books, how will they expose the bad guys and bring justice to light? I have no idea how they can....which totally amps up the anticipation for the third book!

This second book has a slightly different focus from the first book. If I'm Found focuses more on who Casey is becoming, whereas If I Run focused more on who Casey was before she had to run. Casey has a faith journey is this book and she also finally finds a person she can trust and completely be herself around. Her spiritual and emotional journeys are wonderfully portrayed and I feel a bit more mature, too, for having traveled with Casey in her growth.

Dylan, as scarred as he is, takes on a leader, encourager, and protector role in this book. He forgets about himself and his troubles as he becomes more involved with Casey. And there is (finally!) a hint of romance blossoming.....and I'm sure the third book will delve more into that....I hope.

I found the interjection of the villain's voice in the storyline quite interesting as well. Since it's written in a first-person narrative, the villain's voice allowed the twists and turns in the plot to be presented in a natural way (because the protagonists can't be everywhere at the same time). It will be interesting to see if his voice comes up again in the sequel.

What a fast-paced, gripping-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense novel!

I began reading this book as soon as I received it. It was tough to put down! Just as thrilling and suspenseful as the first book in the series, it will be keep you reading to the very last page.

If I were a nail biter, I would have been biting my nails through the entire thing. Instead every time, I had to put it down, I just kept picking it right back up saying to myself just one more chapter. Well, within a little over 24 hrs I was finished, so make sure you carve out some reading time with this one.

I love Terri's writing style. She doesn't waste time with detailed word descriptions to fill the pages. She gets right to the point. The suspense is riveting, you never know for sure what will happen next. I loved how she incorporates faith into this book. Casey, who isn't much of a religious person,
finds herself drawn to God. Terri does an awesome job presenting the gospel as well as answering some tough questions about His love, such as, "Where is He when bad things happen to good people?". She doesn't claim to have all the answers, but she encourages us to look for his blessings amidst the chaos and craziness of everyday life. To find him in the hard times, in the simple things, whether that be in the day to day provision or simply the awesomeness of His creation.

This isn't the end of the series and Terri leaves us longing for more. Although its not necessary to read book one to understand the story, I would highly recommend it, to get the background. I also read it very quickly, and it is worth it

I received a free copy of this book courtesy of the publisher to read. A positive review was not required and all opinions are my own.

Casey Cox still continues to run from the man sent to capture her, and bring her home so she can be formally sentenced with her friends death. While she didn't commit the murder she is being accused of, she still feels the need to flee for her own personal safety, the folks hunting her down had a hand in her father's death and she knows if they catch up to her she is likely to be next on their list of casualties. Casey knew all along her father's death was not a suicide and now she has all the information she needs to prove it, only the men involved in covering up her father's murder want to keep her quiet because they are afraid of all of their shady dealings being discovered.

When Dylan Roberts set out to capture the woman responsible for murdering his friend he thought it was an easy case to tackle, but the farther he digs into Casey's past, the more he realizes the people who he is supposed to be helping are not exactly on the up and up. They have deep ties to Casey's father's death and they know she is closing in on them, and they want to keep her silent. Now Dylan finds himself wanting to protect the very woman he is supposed to be capturing and turning over the police.

The moment you start this one you will be pulled right back into the thick of things with Casey and Dylan, feeling as though you never really left them, and also finding yourself right back on the edge of your seat. This addictive story line is packed with twists and turns, heartfelt emotion, and carried out by two endearing characters that you can't help but root for, and have hope for! I loved revisiting them, seeing their personal growth since the first installment, watching them find hope in the darkest of places, and now I am anxiously awaiting the third installment to see how it all ends for them!

Highly recommend this series, it is sure to take you on a thrilling literary ride!!

If this series does not end up on the big screen, I am going to be so disappointed!

This book picks up right where IF I RUN left off and the suspense continues to build with each chapter in this series. After Dylan lets Casey escape, she heads half way across the country and re-groups her identity and her story. She then heads to Houston. It is Houston where Casey comes so close to getting captured - and her death.

As Dylan tries to find a way to protect Casey while still capturing her, he also digs further into the corruption happening in the Shreveport police department. As he struggles between protecting Casey and fulfilling his obligation to bring her in, Dylan finds himself in almost as much danger as Casey herself.

Casey once again finds herself risking everything to help a family in need, while also doing her own investigative work on her case. She comes dangerously close to being caught but somehow ends up right back in the company of Dylan. But does Dylan turn her in or let her go??

This is one of those books that I simply could not put down. I picked it up after putting the kids to bed one night and read every single page. I had to know if Casey would be captured. Would Dylan expose the Shreveport police? What would happen to the family in danger?

If you are going to read this book, you need to read IF I RUN first. Without reading the first book, you will be completely lost in this one. This one also ends on another cliffhanger, so I am on the edge of my seat waiting for book three! *I received an advanced copy of this book*

If I Run is the first novel in the series and was published in 2016. Now, If I’m found is out this year with the exciting conclusion, If I Live, coming out March 2018. So, if you haven’t read the books, you have time to catch up before the series concludes.
Casey Cox is a woman we meet in the first book who is running for her life after finding her friend dead. While trying to keep under the radar, Casey ends up getting involved in other peoples’ troubles and longs to help them out. The hardest part for Casey is trusting someone with information she has about her own father’s past that will have ripple effects some people just don’t want to have happen. Readers will follow Casey as she tries to stay a step or two ahead of the man who has been sent to capture her and bring her back to face justice.
What makes it even harder for Casey to stay under the radar is her passion to help others out of deep trouble even if it means she will be caught and probably punished for a crime she didn’t commit. Casey is used to trusting herself and carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, but Dylan Roberts just might be the one to help her share her burden while getting justice.
Terri Blackstock has written some very engaging stories that audiences won’t soon forget no matter how many books they read in a short time. While I hate to wait another year before the conclusion, I can say it is well worth it because the suspense never lets up! While you’re waiting for the last book to come out, if you haven’t read some of this author’s other stories, plunge right in, pick a couple and enjoy!

Casey Cox is running for her life. She’s accused of a horrendous murder she didn’t commit. In addition, she stumbles upon other situations she feels require her immediate attention, putting her in even more danger of being found.

Dylan Roberts, a private investigator, has been hired to find Casey. However, the deeper he gets into the assignment, the more uncertainties and questions he has and the more perplexing the case.

If I’m Found is written in Blackstock’s traditional spinetingling and suspenseful way. As a reader, you will be on the edge of your seat as the book carries you through fast-moving and riveting scenarios, moving from locale to locale as Casey is being hunted. She is an author I have come to enjoy and admire. Her books are always gripping and thrilling, with a faith-based emphasis I appreciate.

Terri Blackstock’s book, If I’m Found, is the second in her If I Run Series. Initially, there are a few confusing things in the story if you haven’t read the first book, If I Run. In spite of this, you can very quickly catch up on the story.
I can’t wait to read book one, and I am eagerly looking forward to book three. Unfortunately, it doesn’t debut until next year.

I received a copy of If I’m Found from The Fiction Guild. However, I was under no obligation to provide a review.

This series has me hooked. I knew without a doubt that this book was going to be impossible to put down, and Blackstock didn’t disappoint. After reading the first book in the series titled If I Run I was literally dying for this book to come out. And surprise, surprise I am now dying for the next book. That being said, I believe that you will enjoy this book even if you haven’t read the first one. In the first book we meet Casey as she starts running for her life, and Dylan while he tries to find her. If I’m Found starts off with Casey still running, and hoping no one is able to find her.

Casey knows she must do everything in her power to never get caught. Running forever doesn’t sound fun, but when you consider being dead as the alternative she knows it’s a must. Hoping to collect evidence against the real killers while in hiding isn’t an easy task. Not only is it dangerous but it can also be a pretty lonely existence. When Casey notices injustices she has a hard time not helping those in need. Even if doing so puts her in even more danger it that’s possible. Dylan reaching out to her gives her hope, but she also knows not to trust too easily. Is Dylan really on her side? Can she find enough evidence to put the true criminals behind bars?

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Mystery and Suspense. I really enjoyed reading first person, and found it refreshing to see that point of view. I was kept on the edge of my seat and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I received a copy of this book from Zondervan in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

Casey Cox is still on the run trying to prove her innocence of the murder of her friend Brent. Dylan has been hired by Brent's parents to find Casey and bring her to justice. The media is confused by Casey's behavior. Told that Casey is a cold-blooded murderer, yet her actions in helping rescue a woman held captive, tell a different story. Once again Casey has had to change her identity and move on, and once again she gets mixed up into someone else's troubles and must at all costs help them even if it means being found by the men who framed her for murder. Can Dylan find Casey before these men? And can he find enough evidence against them before they kill Casey?

If I'm Found starts right where If I Run ends. There is a lot of action and a lot of emotions in this book. There are really two stories being told in this book. Of course the main story is Casey trying to prove her innocence and trying to stay alive long enough to do it and then the story of the people that Casey helps is woven into Casey's life. That story isn't pretty at all. I definitely had a hard time reading parts of that. The author has a way of presenting the evils of human behavior that cause the reader to be aware of things that happen outside of our every day bubble of security and contentment. Not only does she show us the evil that humans are capable of, she also shows us the need for a Savior to cleanse us of that evil. The clear message of salvation is definitely one of the things I especially appreciate in this authors writing. At the end of If I'm Found we are left with closure for the secondary story and a cliff-hanger in Casey's life. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

After reading the blurb for this, I thought it was going to be a really good read and I was right; I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Casey is on the run fleeing from prosecution for a murder she didn't commit. It is quite a tense read at times, but Casey is extremely clever and always seems to be a few steps ahead of the police. I love Casey; she has a natural caring side to her and doesn't like to see bad and unfair things happen to innocent people. So when she comes across a Bible and sees a suicide note written in it, she feels the need to locate its owner. In doing so she can't help but get involved and try to seek justice for those who have been wronged. Even though she is in extreme danger of getting caught she just can't let it go.
Dylan has been hired to find Casey and work along with the police, it doesn't take him long to realise that Casey is not the real murderer, she has been well and truly set up.
Can he get to Casey before the corrupt police do? Will Casey trust him or does she think it is a trap to get to her? My emotions were teetering on the edge at times when they got close to her. I was praying they didn't find her.
This is a new author to me and I know perhaps I should have read book one first but to be honest it was written so well I didn't have to, I just fell straight into the story and stayed until I finished it. I can't wait for book three as it's not over for Casey yet she still has a lot of evidence to find. I will be definitely one clicking the next book, and won't hesitate to read anything by this author in the future.

Casey Cox is a fugitive, framed for the brutal murder of her friend Brent by the same corrupt cops who killed her father. If I'm Found picks up immediately following the events of If I Run, where Casey jeopardized her safety and risked capture in order to save someone else.

In If I'm Found, Casey once again can't help fighting injustice, even as the evil Detective Keegan gets closer to capturing her. Eventually, she must decide whether to trust Dylan, the man hired by Brent's parents to find her, as she tries to rescue an abused child, clear an accused man's name, and gather evidence against Keegan.

If I'm Found is a thrilling roller-coaster ride from beginning to end, yet Blackstock also clearly presents the gospel as Casey searches for truth. I appreciated that the faith thread was organically woven into the novel and made sense with the story—it didn't feel like it was shoehorned in, but it naturally flowed out of the events of the novel.

While I really enjoyed If I Run, I absolutely loved If I'm Found. I can't wait for If I Live, the series' conclusion, next year! 5 stars.

Note: This is a series that really must be read in order—I have a feeling you'll really struggle if you try to jump in with If I'm Found!

If I Run, the first book in this series, left us dangling from a cliff wondering what would happen to Casey Cox next. If I’m Found picks up where the previous book left off. If you haven’t read the first book, have no fear. You can read this one as a stand-alone.

Casey is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts is still on Casey’s trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. Casey continues to work to collect evidence about the murder she is accused of. However, as she does in the first book, Casey stumbles upon a situation that doesn’t involve her case, but is one she can’t walk away from. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong, but doing so is risky and may result in her capture. I enjoyed this side story. The twist, turns and suspense of the book come more from these events than from Casey’s case. One part of me couldn’t help thinking though that Casey should worry about saving herself! The other part was proud of her for putting others needs above her own.

Fast paced and suspenseful, I read If I’m Found in a day. I needed to know if Casey would finally clear her name? Or would she continue to run? Would the sparks that seemed to fly between her and Dylan ignite? All these questions are answered … sort of. There is a third book scheduled for this series, so there is more of Casey’s story to come. I’m eagerly awaiting the conclusion to Casey’s story. She has to stop running eventually, right?

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley.

You know that point when you get to almost the end of a book and you must keep turning pages at the speed of an airplane? That’s this book. Actually, it’s this series. (Please read If I Run before this one. While some things wrap up at the end of the individual books, you’ll miss out on the heart of the main story, because it goes way beyond these individual titles.)

If I’m Found follows Casey’s continuing flight for her life after being accused of murdering her friend. It finds her where the first book has left her… wondering where she can go that she’ll be safe for a little while.
One of the discussion questions Terri Blackstock has included at the back of this book is, “What is the key thing about this book that will stay with you?” Discussion questions in books are kind of a hit or miss thing for me, but I really appreciated this one. The key thing that will stay with me from this book? Its emphasis on light. In the midst of so much darkness, it would be easy for Casey to focus on that, to only see the darkness of the evil surrounding her. But she sees a glimmer of light every now and then, a little reminder that she can still have hope. She is trying so desperately to embrace the fact that, though evil may put up a good facade and it may be spreading its lies, it will not win. Not in the end.

I really contemplated what food could correlate with this book, and.. you know those energy cookie bites that are all over pinterest? Yeah.. that’s what I have to go with. This is such an energetic book. So fast-paced that sometimes you’re not sure you’re actually sitting still.

Wow! This book was amazing! Terri Blackstock is a favorite author of mine. I believe I have read almost all of her books. And, this series is my favorite of all!! There are several reasons why. I love the first person. It works. The characters are well developed. They are so likeable. No, lovable. I love the hero and heroine. The dialogue between Casey and Dylan is believable and you feel what they are feeling. You understand what they are going through. Blackstock did a fantastic job with this. I am rooting for them. I want to see them through all of those horrific events that are going on in their lives. The suspense of not knowing what is going to happen next is mind blowing. I kept turning the pages rapidly because I am on the edge of my seat. Then, she brings it down a notch for me to catch my breath with a precious inspirational message. Being thankful in the little things going on in Casey's life. God is there in the little things as well as the big things. God is opening her eyes to what is around her. And, lastly, the sweet romance budding between Dylan and Casey is making me so happy I want to do a happy dance. This is an adrenaline laced book with precious moments sprinkled in throughout. I highly recommend this book. I am definitely looking forward to the finale, which I am sure will be again...Aaaamazing!!

Casey Cox is on the run for being falsely accused of murdering her friend. Dylan Roberts, the Private Investigator who was hired to find her is still following her, but he believes her story. Casey is trying to find more evidence to prove her innocence and convict the real murderers, but she's still not sure she can fully trust Roberts. While collecting her evidence, she comes across yet another tragedy, an abused little girl and a falsely accused man struggling to keep it together. Will she risk her life to help these people? Or will she be found trying to help them and die in prison?

I love this series. This is book two in the If I Run Series, and it is as gripping as the first one. The storyline will suck you in from the very beginning and you won't be able to put it down. The characters are well developed, and you'll empathize with them. I was rooting for Casey and Dylan through the whole book. I can't wait to see how this all ends in the last book of the series! Full of suspense, twists and turns, Blackstock will keep you on your toes guessing. If you love suspense, get this series, and get started now, you're not going to want to miss this!

Side note: this is not a stand alone book, you're going to want to read this series in order.

If I'm Found is the second book in the If I Run Series by Terri Blackstock. I have been waiting for this book to be released since the day I finished the first book, If I Run. The first book was the best suspense novel I ever read and I have eagerly anticipated If I'm Found.

If I'm Found continues the story of Casey, who is still on the run from the cops. She is wanted for committing a murder that she didn't commit. She is trying to collect evidence on the real murderers while on the run. Dylan is still after her. He insists that he believes that Casey is innocent and even though he let her escape once already she is leary to trust.

As Casey is fighting for her own self she stumbles upon another injustice. She wants to help, but would it mean her own capture and paying for a crime that she didn't commit?

This is truly the best series! The author alternates between characters and gives first hand accounts. I really like this as it gives more insight to what each character is feeling. Although this second book was not quite as good as the first, I have a feeling that the third and final book in this series is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see how the author wraps this story up. The worst thing about it is that I will have to wait a year before the next release. More waiting! UGH!

If I'm Found is the explosive second book in the If I Run series. Casey Cox is still on the run and Dylan Roberts is hot on her trail. I loved the turn of him believing she is innocent of his best friend's murder and that he let her go when he was so close to apprehending her. Now it seems there may even be a romance in store for them. Casey is such a likable character. I love that she can be so strong yet so vulnerable at the same time. She cares so deeply for others and always wants to do the right thing. Even when it makes things drastically harder for her. It is hard to think about how there really is such corruption in the world just like in the If I Run series. I am really rooting for Casey and sincerely hope that she gets some justice for her father and friend's murders in the next book. Dylan is also a very likable character and I would like to hear even more about him in the following book. I think him and Casey would be perfect for each other. Wouldn't that be a wonderful silver lining to all of the mess they have been through, if they could find love and understanding in each other? I only wish it wouldn't be so long before If I Live comes out!

If I’m Found by Terri Blackstock

Terri Blackstock was hard-pressed to write a sequel that compares to her first book in the series of her page-turning suspense, If I Run, but she succeeds marvelously. I literally groaned, NO! when I turned to the last page and saw that it was a Note from the author. I immediately wanted to dive into the next installment. But not yet . . .
The author continues the breakneck pace of the plot, which kept me engrossed in this book. There was hardly a time when I wasn’t looking over Casey or Dylan’s shoulders’ to see if I could see Keegan or Rollins following close behind.
I enjoyed the development of the characters and how they learned and struggled against evil. The sub plots gave such depth to Casey’s character. Dylan’s character was revealed in the way he treated Casey and her difficult situation. Even the bad guys revealed more about themselves and their motives, too, as the story progressed.
Of course, the ending was a temporary stopping place for the story and I was happy to know that Casey’s intervention had made a difference. But her original motive for running had not changed and so another sequel must be on the way. I can hardly wait!
Suspense readers will love this series. I received a free copy of the book from the publisher and this is my honest review.

I've been waiting a year for this book! And was it ever worth it! The story picks up shortly after the end of book one and the action keeps pounding!

Once again Terri Blackstock gives readers a fast paced adventure. Casey Cox is running for her life from crooked cops who killed her father. She is a smart and resource girl and it's fun to watch her get out of scraps. She also has a big heart to help the less fortunate. In this story she steps into danger on behalf of two hurting people.

I love the secondary story line with Dylan's PTSD. It's been eye opening to see what many of our vets go through. It's also sad. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to Dylan when the series ends.

The story - AMAZING! Lots of action as Blackstock looks at situations that happen too often in life. And how our system often persecutes innocent people while guilty ones seem to get away with it.

If you read book one of the series you will definitely want to follow what happens next with Casey.

I do recommend reading the books in order. You might be able to pick up this book and enjoy it. But to get the fullness of the story you want to read book one.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the author, but I was not required to leave a review. The opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

This is the second book in the "If I Run" series and I would recommend reading them in order. At first, it took some time for the story to pick up but then it really got interesting. Casey is still on the run but she and Dylan are trying to gather enough information to bring down the corrupt cops. While on the run, she becomes aware of a heartbreaking situation which she tries to rectify. Things get much worse before they get better. I liked the development of Casey and Dylan's relationship and I got to know Dylan better, especially his PTSD. I also appreciated that the author includes spiritual content with Casey's growing faith and her questions about God. Casey is still on the run at the end of this book so I look forward to reading how it will all end. I listened to this as an audiobook and the narrator did a great job with all of the voices, she really made the story come alive.

Thank you so very much Smith Publicity!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! :)

After that action packed ending in If I Run I couldn't wait to dive into this one!! This installment picks up right where the last one left off. I am seriously obsessed with this series!!

I voluntarily requested, read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Casey Cox, the heroine of Terri Blackstock’s If I Run series, seems to have a penchant for getting caught up in trying to help other people even as she is running and trying to hide from those who want her dead to keep their own ugly secrets from being brought into the light of day. Although the situations she encounters are unrelated to the murder she is believed to have committed in Shreveport, they somehow have a way of bringing her back into the public eye, which is the last place she needs to be until she has evidence to prove her innocence. Dylan Roberts, the private investigator hired by the father of the man she is accused of murdering, is becoming increasingly convinced that she is innocent and tries to earn her trust so he can help her bring the real criminals to justice. The action is fast and suspenseful, the twists and turns come at the reader with intensity, and the excitement mounts as the book draws to a conclusion. Suddenly you realize the book has ended and the third book of the series is not due for almost a year. Oh, the misery of having to wait so long to learn what happens next. Be sure to read If I Run first and after finishing this one, I am sure you will be on the lookout for the third book, just as I am. One final feature of the story that I always appreciate is the way the author is able to weave the Good News into the story to help readers see how faith can play out for us even in the direst of circumstances.

A long time fan of Ms. Blackstock, I was excited to pick up this book. I wasn’t disappointed, that was for sure! From first page to last, I was on the edge of my seat, devouring the suspense long in to the night. The rush of anticipation was strong with this book!

Casey, Dylan, and all the secondary characters are complexly created and I loved that. They need to be for their roles in the plot line. Reading this story transformed me into Casey for the duration of the book. I felt all her emotions, all her fears, all her hopes as if they were my  own. That was powerful! Just when I thought I knew what was coming, Ms. Blackstock twisted the story up and left me in awe, thinking about the twist.

Ms. Blackstock once again created a story that is filled with messages from God, characters that are jaw droppingly awesome, and a story line that packs an incredible punch! If you love the anticipation of finding out what happens next, the heart pounding, jaw dropping need to find the clues and reach the end, then this book is for you. However, I must warn you, you’ll want the next book instantly, like I do, and you’ll be deeply saddened to know it’s a long wait! I am looking forward to going back and reading book 1, to see where Casey began. Definitely a fantastic 4 star worthy book.

If I'm found is a continuation of If I run, which was a way intense thriller that you will kick yourself if you didn't read it. You have Casey who is on the run for a murder she did not commit. Chased by Dylan - you know the token member of the PI's and police force group that are going after her - but guess who helped her get away and guess who is emailing her wanting to help her more? This book is full of contradictions but good ones, bizarre but good. The author truly knows how to blow your mind and have you enjoy it and want them to do it again. Fun eh? This book is a thriller down to the last word. Worth your time which you find yourself stealing time here and there just to read it, don't get caught though :) love this book...........I received this book from Zondervan. All the opinions of this book are my own.

I'm a longtime fan of Terri Blackstock's and love her books."If I'm Found" is no exception. I only have one complaint...I stayed up waaayyyy too late reading this book. Seriously, if you are looking for a book that has all of the must-have elements of a well-written novel, look no further than this book. It contains suspense (and plenty of it), drama, and even a bit of romance. What I enjoyed most was the faith element that Terri Blackstock seamlessly weaves into "If I'm Found." She handles difficult topics, such as PTSD, suicide, and child abuse tactfully and truthfully.

Her final installment to this series will be released in March 2018. I can't wait!

So grab a copy of this book today and prepare to join lead characters Casey Cox and Dylan Roberts on an adventure you won't soon forget.

If I'm Found is book two from the If I Run series. Casey Cox is still on the run and Dylan Roberts is still on her trail. She must uncover who is the real murderer and then finds herself in more danger. Will Dylan help her or turn her in?

If I Found is another book by Terri Blackstock that kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept guessing who to trust and who not to trust. Casey really found herself in dangerous situations and I hoped Dylan would get to her in time to help her and protect her. The story is action-packed and so thrilling that I did not want to put the book down. What a page turner! I cannot wait to find out what happens next in the series.

Five stars.

So, I read a lot of Christian fiction lately. Surprising, huh? It was to me, but every time Smith Publicity (no relation, I swear!) sends me a new ARC, I fall more and more in love with the genre. Never in a million years would I have thought that you could have a Christian suspense thriller and make it work, but this story was excellent!
Despite being book two in a series, you can read it as a standalone, but reading book one first is recommended. I think what I liked best was that Casey was an easy to get to know lead character. I liked getting in her head and following her journey trying to prove herself innocent of murders she didn't commit.
The story moved so quickly I didn't realize the book was over. And I immediately wanted more. That's what a good book SHOULD do. And it's partly a cliffhanger, so bring on the next one in March 2018!

If I'm Found is the riveting sequel to If I Run. As you know, in book one Casey Cox was accused of murdering her best friend. She's uncovering something bigger, and even saves a kidnapped teenager along the way, why would a killer do that?

I thought book two was even more exciting. You can easily see that Casey has inherited her father's keen detective skills. Thankfully the private investigator hired by the Pace family to locate Casey believes in her innocence and will stop at nothing to keep her safe from the crooked cops.

This book has heart pounding, nonstop action. The kind of book that keeps you up at night unable to stop reading until the very end. Which by the way, leaves us eagerly anticipating the next installment.

"If I'm Found" is Book 2 of Terri Blackstock's "If I Run" trilogy. Realizing that, I did read Book 1 before I read Book 2, and I'm glad I did. You probably could read Book 2 as a stand-alone but the story continues from one book to the next... and now I have to wait until Book 3 comes out to find out how the over-arching plot gets resolved. (I hate that. With a series like this, I'd rather wait until all the books are out and read one right after the other.) That being said, the "fugitive" plot is fascinating and keeps me turning the pages. This is not a light, easy read as it addresses some very horrendous themes such as suicide and child abuse. I appreciate how the main character changes and develops over the course of the story, and makes choices to "do the right thing" knowing she's putting herself in danger.

First, let me say that I have loved all of Terry Blackstock's books that I have read. This one, I also loved, but...I only gave four stars due to the ending, or I should say, 'non ending.' It really leaves one hanging. You must wait a year for the next book in this series.
This book is suspenseful, has action and a tiny romance towards the end. It was one of those book that I couldn't wait until I had a few moments to read for a bit.
The main character, Casey, has been wrongly accused of terrible crimes and is being set up and seeked by dirty cops who know she can blow their cover. I found myself having a bit of anxiety when Casey was finding herself almost caught by them, changing disguises, her identity, etc. to throw them off her track.
I was given a copy of this book to read from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

If I’m Found picks up right where If I Run ended, with Casey Cox still running from evil men that are out to get her. What has changed? She may have an ally now, but she’s not yet sure if she can trust him. Terri Blackstock is a master of this genre and her writing keeps you reading and longing to finish reading even when your to do list prevents it. I would not recommend this book as a stand alone novel. Take the time to read book one, you will not regret it! My only regret in reading this book is the long wait until the next book comes out. Honestly, this is the kind of book I like to read once all books in the series have been released, so that I can read them all at once. I look forward to book 3, as well as other books by this author. I received a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Oh, this book. I wanted to like it. The character development was meh, but the real issue was a poor theology of suffering. Her note from the author at the end explains this mindset. She writes that she writes about characters going through traumatic circumstances because she has had challenges in her own life. But then she says those times weren't really that bad in hindsight, saying that perceived suffering was whining and complaining just like when she thought she was fat once but looked back at pictures and realized she didn't look so bad. This trivializing of suffering shows up in her reductive use of Romans 8:28 in one portion of the story. It's an ongoing theme, this treatment of scripture as an easy answer for pain. No, thanks.

I usually don't like to read books about children being abused. For this reason, I hesitated to read this one. But the child abuse is merely mentioned. You know it's happened, but you aren't told the details. In the rest of the book, Casey again finds herself trying to right many wrongs while trying to stay one step ahead of those who want to do her harm. I am with other reviewers who were disappointed that this was not the end of her story. I thought this was a two book series, but it's not. The last one won't come out for a year. At least we find out that Dylan is on her side and is trying to prove her innocence.

This exciting and much-anticipated sequel kept me on the edge of my seat! Since reading Book 1, If I Run, I’ve been anxious to continue Casey Cox’s story. Still running for her life, Casey finds herself in another precarious situation that is sure to jeopardize her cover. I loved the urgency and intensity of If I’m Found as evil lurks around every corner. Dylan Roberts’ pursuit of Casey and the truth heightens the complexity and emotion of the narrative, which I really enjoyed. Terri Blackstock continues to thrill me with her nail-biting suspense, and I can’t wait to see how she concludes this gripping series!

After waiting a year to find out how the story for Casey Cox would continue, I had forgotten some things about the previous book in series, "If I Run". Thankfully, bit by bit details returned and I remembered. But a year waiting for a sequel is an awful long time. That having said, I enjoyed this new installment very much and I dreaded the ending, because I knew the author couldn't wrap it all up in this book . . . so now I'm wondering if I have to wait another year to see how things will end. Ack! So, I'm a bit frustrated and disappointed that I have to wait again, but besides that, this is an excellent series. The suspense is high, just like my heartbeat while reading. Blackstock is a fantastic writer and her characters are well developed.

IF I'M FOUND by Terri Blackstock.Anther thriller that catches you from first page. Casey on the run, needs to ditch car, needs sleep. A hotel that's probably not even a one star, dark lot in back for car. Dylan hired to find her, but believes she innocent, lets her slip. Police within 5 states on look out for her. Email lets her know he believes she is innocent, she didn't commit murder. Can she disguise herself enough, while collecting solid evidence, against the murderers. The sequel to If I Run continues with the activities of someone who is willing to see the world as a good place, but everywhere Casey goes she manages to find someone who needs her help. This time an innocent man is accused of doing terrible things to one of his students, but Casey knows the parents are lying. The abuse is true, but someone else is hurting this poor child and Casey is determined to clear her boss and save this child in the process even if it means she goes to jail herself.
On the run from a murder in Louisiana, Casey is helped by the very man that is supposed to be chasing her. When he rescues her and doesn't turn her in, Casey wonders could there really be someone watching over her?

I own a good many of Terri Blackstock's books and they are very, very good. She has a way with words and draws the reader in with those words. Her suspense is wonderfully done and captivating to the attention of her readers. I don't think anyone who has ever read one of her books would not pick up another one. She's that good. The reader gets caught up and doesn't want to put her books down. This book was tremendous! It's just constant suspense and tension. I do, however, hate the cliffhanger. If I'm Found by Terri Blackstock is the exciting sequel to If I Run. Casey Cox is still on the run, an innocent suspect in a murder investigation. She is smart and able to disguise herself. She is also compassionate, risking her life to help people She's just med who are in need.

Is there anyone she can trust to help her? What about Dylan, the PI hired to find her. Has God brought Dylan to her to help her find her way to Him and to help her see that God is with her even through the trials she is facing? "There is no other explanation but God...I barely know Him, but I think He knows me." (pg. 5)

I would recommend reading If I Run first. Even though I didn't, I was still totally engrossed in this story. It is full of suspense, the chase, good guys & bad guys and finding God in most unlikely places. I look forward to #3 in this series coming in 2018.

Just like the 1st book in the series (If I Run) this book will keep you at the edge of your seat. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns. The author does a good job of keeping the readers attention. Characters are well developed and there is a great balance of introspected thought and actual conversation. Interactions between characters are authentic and easy to follow. Love the relationship development between Casey and Dylan. I wonder if it's because of the intensity of the situation they're in or if it's actually a real attraction. I can't wait for another book in the series to see if their relationship blossoms or dies off. Love this series.

The storyline is well thought out and characters feel real. What I loved most though was the letter to the readers at the back. She discusses having a life where you focus on what you are grateful for instead of what is wrong. This is not saying ignore the problems. We are to seek the Lord through prayer and trust that He will use our circumstances for the good. Book 3 puts that into practice. My goal is to do the same! Thank you Terri!

The first novel in this series, If I Run, was terrific, and I couldn't wait to read this one, because the first was full of suspense and plot surprises. This one also has suspense--our heroine again in peril--and has potential romance added. Terri Blackstock certainly knows how to write this genre, which includes a Christian element. As in the first book, I like the way she develops the secondary characters. I am giving this only four stars, however, due to the fact that I felt there were parts that dragged a little. I can't wait for the third installment of the series!

This one starts a little slower than the previous book, but once the action gets really started, it doesn't stop.
The story is believable, the main characters are not perfect so they are completely relatable, and the Christian elements are in a perfect dosage: not too much to be preachy, and not too less to be dismissable.
Indeed a very good read for anyone who wants a good and clean action book. But make sure you read the first book in the series before you read this one, or the story won't make sense.

I have never read anything by Terri Blackstock and now I've become a fan! Loved this book! You have to read If I run first and then read this book to get the full story they are not stand alones. I loved from the first page If I run and I was so glad the next book was out for me to read because I ran thru both books in one weekend. Loved the suspense of Keegan chasing Casey and Dylan trying to help her. This book has twists and turns that I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend if you love a good thriller. If I could give more then five stars I would!!!!!

This is a fast thrilling ride of a read. You will not be left on quite as much of a hang off as book number two, but you will for sure be left wanting to get book #3. If I'm found gives us the continuation of Casey's story, while she is once again on the run. Dylan's story, with the PTSD is very pronounced and really helps us to get inside his head and work to understand him.

I did feel as though I was reminded that this was fiction in this story, a few times, but still, I was engaged and delighted throughout.

Love, love, love this author. This is another great series! Book two didn't disappoint, can't wait for book three. This series has just the right amount of mystery, tension, faith, hope. The characters are well developed and since the main character is on the run the author has to develop many different living arrangements and somehow she always manages to do it so well that I feel I am right there on the run too. It's nice too when a book teaches good lessons about doing the right thing, especially when it isn't easy.

Another heart pounding, non stop action read. This book picks up right were the last one, "If I Run", left off (which should be read first). As with the first book, the action starts right away and rarely slows down. You do get to know the characters better in this book and find out more of the back story of what has happened to Dylan and his struggle with PTSD. I also liked the spiritual aspects of the book and Casey's journey to a relationship with Christ. So be careful when you start this book, because once you start you probably won't be able to put it down until you are finished!

Wow! I am so impressed with this series. I read book 1 and book 2 back to back and wish I could follow it with book 3. I love that it's written in first person because it really gets the reader up close, as if we too are running from crooked cops, trying to find enough evidence to convict them and evade them at the same time. Some heart pumping moments but I really am enjoying watching Casey discover and unfold the Truth...to find he light in the darkness, the hope in the hopeless. Will be highly anticipating book 3!

Alright the story and characters were great but I had trouble reading this one thru to the end. Besides being plagued with the flu all this month- which sucks by itself... and knowing this book is a Christian Fiction book, there was too much preaching for me at the end or should I say around chapter 47 or so. I'm not religious myself and found this book a bit more uncomfortable then the first book in this series... which I'm sorry but it turned me off of this book but I do want to find out if they get these dirty bastards or not in the end!

Super good book. Great characters. Exciting and interesting story. Intriguing mystery. There was just the right amount of reference to the first book to tie the second book into the story. Cannot wait to begin book three. I know it will be another first-rate book. Ms. Blackstock never fails to give me a can't-lay-it-down book. I stay up way too late to read!

I enjoyed "If I Run" so much, but I delayed reading the second of the series a bit, knowing I would be waiting as impatiently for the 3rd as I did for the 2nd. This book did not disappoint. Casey's compassionate nature came out, with her again thinking of others before herself. The plot thickens with Keegan beginning to suspect Dylan's loyalties. It is one well written book that can have me in tears more than once, and this one did. The characters and their problems are so real.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Lots of action with Casey still trying to find evidence to clear her name. But she keeps stumbling into other situations that need help and she tries to help them. Will she continue to elude Keegan and find the evidence she needs to prove he killed those she is accused of. Will Dylan help her or turn her in? Can't wait for the final book in the series to see how it turns out. The only thing I hate is I have to wait until next year!

I sure love Terri's books. After reading if I run just about a week ago I was so glad Zondervan had allowed me to preview this one the second book in this series. It was great, heartstopppng and riveting all rolled into one. I can't wait to see how Casey and Dylan's story turns out.
I was provided and advance copy of this book through NetGalley. The thoughts on the review are mine and were not required. Coming soon my reviews on carolynreads.com

I could not put this one down! This incredible writer has another hit!! This is a fast-paced, very realistic story of a young woman unjustly accused of murder and a PI who has been hired by the victim’s parents to find the killer. Full of twists and turns, this one will grab you and not let go until the very end!!

Another supsenseful book by Terri Blackstock! And of course, it leaves you hanging because there is another book coming!! Hurry up, Terri, write faster! ;)
Great characters. Good plot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that a couple of things seemed rather unbelievable... However, in general, Terri is a very good suspense author, and I enjoy her stories.
I was given this book by the Fiction Guild in exchange for an honest review. Thanks!

This next installment is just as good as the 1st. Keeps you reading for hours wanting to know what happens next. Wonderful to see the how Casey is drawn to looking for God. Loved Dylan 's answer to Casey when she questioned where her dead father had gone. We never know what happened to our unbelieving loved ones at the last moment. There is always hope. Can't wait to read the next book. Also don't miss reading the author's notes at the end. Always a message for our the heart.

The roller coaster ride continues as Casey races to evade those trying to kill her and helping others in the process.
She is blessed to have Dylan, the PI in her corner.
The story ends with a cliffhanger and eagerly await the next and hopefully last episode of this story.
This book is for those who like thrillers.
I was given a copy of the book by the publisher and Net Galley. My opinions are my own.

I received this book from NetGalley and Zondervan for my honest review. This is the second book in the series and I have read the first one "If I Run". I loved the first book and I really loved this second book. I want more! The story is about Casey Cox who is on the run and Dylan the PI who is trying to find her. Fast paced, easy read, exciting, action packed, amazing, suspenseful! I highly recommend this book.

This book is just as intense as book one, maybe even more so. It is still really suspenseful, and a nice continuation of the first book. I felt that If I'm Found delved a little little deeper into the backstory. There were a few times were I found myself skimming instead of being completely interested. But over the book was really good. I read it in almost one sitting. This series is a very nice suspense series.

It's really important to read book 1 (If I Run) before embarking on book 2. Casey is a fugitive from a dirty cop who stops at nothing to find her. Changing identities and disguises causes the reader to question if Casey can out-distance the psychopathic cop who wants to kill her.

I am a big fan of Terri Blackstock and have been reading her books for years. This one lives up to her reputation as a great writer. There is plenty of action to keep the reader wanting to know what is next; it is not filled with gore, foul language or sex scenes. It is a Christian fiction so does have references to God and the Bible. This book is readable as a standalone but is more understandable if read in sequence.

Nothing by Teri Blackstock ever disappoints. This is the second book of a series but it stands alone. It’s been too long since I read book 1. But this book pulls the information of book one and runs with it through an amazing story.

I could not wait to read this second book in the If I Run series by Terri Blackstock and it did not disappoint. This book pics up right where book 1 left off and takes you on the nailbiting journey as Casey continues to try to prove her innocence. I can't believe I have to wait until next March (2018) to read book 3.

Second in the' If I Run' series but can be read as a stand alone book, in this Casey is still running for the ones who framed her for murder. when she comes across a man who is being accused of something he did not do so she tries to help him.
A good read and keeps guessing to the end.

If I'm Found is a really suspenseful novel. I read the first book in the series and could hardly wait to read this one. Casey and Dylan are characters that are a blast to read about. I like the DNA and police investigation as they were well-written without being super technical. This is a good book for suspense lovers.

Received this book from Netgalley for my honest review.

I thought this book would have been better but it wasn't. In the first book Casey is being accused of murdering her best friend and she is on the run, this book is just a continuation of that premise. Casey is a whiny woman who seems to stumble upon other absolute horrible things going on in peoples lives and tries to fix them even though she is on the run herself. Dillon's piece in this was much better than the first one but there just seemed to be no connection to any of the characters again and then to find out that there is another cliffhanger for a 3rd book so there is no resolution was it for me.

Wow! Another action-packed novel from Terri Blackstock. I read If I Run and was glad to find If I'm Found. I finished it in a few days, and I was shocked to discover the Casey is still on the run and I have to wait for the next book. These two books had my heart pumping at several times.

This series is so incredible! I love how, even though Casey is on the run because she's accused of killing her best friend, she still figures out a way to help others solve their crimes. Dylan is such a great character and I love seeing his and Casey's relationship continue to grow. We also get introduced to Dex, and he also seems incredible. This book just gets so intense towards the middle and kept me reading nonstop! I only put it down for minor things like sleeping and working. ;) Such a great read and can't wait to get the next book to see how it all ends up!

I received a copy of this book for free. I was not required to post a positive review and the views and opinions expressed are my own.

I wish authors who weren't going to resolve the crisis in a novel would warn you before you pick up the book! It's so frustrating when an author draws you in and leaves you hanging. Just so she can get you to read the NEXT book. Ms Blackstock remains a talented writer. Quit messing with your readers!

This is a fine continuation of the If I Run series. Do read the original book first. Well, that's not essential, but you will get more out of this if you read it in sequence.
