I have planted a vegetable garden almost every year for the past 30 years. Over the years, I've read many gardening books and tried various methods to get better results and to lighten the work. Unfortunately I never found any method that really did what it claimed it would do after reading Growing Food God's Way, I'm so excited to try this simple method of gardening. I have used mulch in my garden before, but now I realize it wasn't nearly thick enough to control the weeds. As I'm getting older, this is the perfect time to find an easier way to grow my food!

I found Paul Gautschi on YouTube not too long ago and I am so glad I did. I am a little obsessed with this gardening method now and plan to use it this year. I have gardened in weeds for so many years, and am so excited that I found this information. This book, the film and the information on youtube will be life changing for me, my health and my soil! I'm so grateful to Paul for sharing!

As the case is with many others who stumble across Paul and his teachings, I also am more compelled by his sharing God's word than his techniques of growing food. Learning the history of how Paul Gautschi got to where he is today, along with some of his favorite tools and varieties, I am further akin to this book by the connection to scripture that comes as a revelation when the faults of today's food system could be solved by simply paying attention to nature, the only true sustainable system in God's design. From the covering to having an active relationship with the Father, Devine writes on Paul's experiences and principles in a precocious, organized manner. This reading went by fairly quickly for me, which left me wanting to hear more about Gautschi. As a convenient remedy, there is a Youtube channel, L2Survive, who records video on the tours that Paul hosts at his home every Sunday during the warmer, active growing seasons. There is where I can watch and hear Paul share how he grows food God's way. Despite having long footage of multiple tours every year, I always learn something new when I take time to watch them. I highly recommend this book and Wayne's channel, L2Survive on Youtube.
