Resisting the Biker (An Alpha Motorcycle Club Romance) Book One

WOW, THIS IS AWESOME!!! SO MUCH EXCITEMENT, SUSPENSE, HOT & STEAMY ROMANCE!! IT HAS IT ALL!! LOVED IT AND THE STORY PULLS YOU IN AND YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!! GOING TO START THE NEXT ONE RIGHT NOW!!!

The story started out with somewhat of a bang! It's through Jessica's POV and What happens to Jessica grabbed my attention and then ......... nothing! Her character kind of disappears. Yes, the story talks about the situation and how the club will handle it. But - I felt for that to be such a HUGE part of the story - it was a disappointment the way the author just put her into the background.

We follow Adriana for most of the story. A young, sheltered, naive girl. Who basically falls into the hands of Raptor. This character bugged the Sh*t out of me. One minute - oh I can't be a part of your world then the next she is right back in bed with him. And don't even get me started on the relationship she has with her mom and allowing her mom to tell her what to do still at the age of 21. Adriana's character was all over the place.

Raptor - hmmmmmmmm....... I liked him for the most part. Comes across as the typical bad ass alpha male biker we read about....then it's like within 2 days he's P*ssy whipped over Adriana. All of a sudden this girl is his old lady. The back and forth between them was a bit too much.

Then we have the best friend - and the incident that happens to her. It felt out of place to me and that's about where the story lost me. The cliffhanger - saw it coming and TBH I think the author could have carried this book out a little more.

The MC part of it fell flat. I mean - what MC Prez is going to "let it go" and not retaliate when something AWFUL happens to his soon to be stepdaughter by another MC? NONE!

I am curious to find out if "Judge" will get his book.... I think his character spoke to me the most!
The book was overall "Okay" I mean it was not a HORRIBLE read..... I think it could have been better. I will read the next one to see if things get better and questions are answered......

This story is scary, exciting and sensually delicious. This story had me on the edge of my seat. I so want to know what the vibrations of a motorcycle feels like in between my legs. OMG, so freaking HOTT!

The book has several grammatical and punctuation errors but the writing is edgy. The characters are defined but there is not a lot of background on how they evolved. It has a cliffhanger ending so if you are not a fan of this type of book I'd skip it.

This is a great book. With a perfect proportion of intimate moments and biker business. However, as a person who lives in Iowa City, the storyline was off for me. Not only is there no Main Street, the University of Iowa would not be called "IU" by the students that attend there. It's the U, U of I, or just Iowa. Not too mention in no way is this city containing a bunch of bikers. Other than that a decent amount of grammar errors throughout the book.

Can one event cause a chain reaction that will effect many people??? Yes, it can and it does! Breaker is one sick man who like break woman. Well he broke the wrong one and is not landed himself in the hot seat of his rival MC club The Gold Vipers. Slammer the MC prez soon to be step daughter gets raped by Breaker and now breaker is in some serious trouble with the MC. When the two clubs have sit down to see if they will give up who hurt Jessica. Well they don't but they know who did it! While they are all at the club having this meeting Adriana and Krystal come to visit Tank, Slammers Son, well Breaker decides that he likes the looks of Adriana! Adriana has eyes for someone else within the Gold Vipers MC Raptor. Raptor sees the most beautiful woman sitting at the bar and who else would be bothering her, Breaker, he would love to break him but he needs the go ahead from Slammer his prez. He is sick of Breaker hurting women and wants to out a stop to it!

This MC is a mus read!!! The story will grab you and hang on til you finish!!!

I would not recommend reading this book. The main characters are portrayed as adults, but they act like teenagers. It's so cliche to write a novel where the only conflict arises because one person is keeping a secret from another, or one character refuses to explain something to the other. I'm also exhausted with super short, plotless first novels that end on a cliff-hanger and try to convince me to buy the next one. If you can't write enough of a story in the first novel, there's no way I'm going to buy the second.
