Dawson Reed has been released from prison, ultimately not charged with the murder of his adopted parents. Sadie Harris, in the midst of a contentious divorce from her slime-ball husband, Sly, agrees to work for Dawson. She's helping to clean up the house Dawson inherited so he can bring his mentally-disabled sister home.

I won't post any spoilers, but suffice it to say, Sadie and Dawson have a hard road ahead of them. Novak continues to write books with interesting characters. Can't wait for her next Silver Springs novel!

Cute story about believing in someone and never giving up hope. Sadie and Dawson were meant to be together and can get through anything! This book kept my interest as for me reading can be difficult and boring. But I enjoyed this story.

Sadie Harris and Dawson Reed are two people trying to get back on their feet. Sadie, from getting a divorce, and Dawson, from losing his parents and going on trial for their murders.

Neither one needs a relationship right now, but they do need someone in their corner.

Dawson has a job available, as a caregiver for his handicapped sister, and Sadie needs a job that pays more.

What happens next is their friendship turns into more. However, these two have a lot to overcome, her stalker ex-husband, and his search for his parents' actual killer.

This is a nice romance with a mystery thrown in.

Enjoy your stay in Silver Springs.

I love this book. Sadie and Dawson was too breathing taking characters. Both were broken and it was amazing. Please every one, buy this book it will keep u in gaze for days. I felt sorry for Sly , only one chapter actually spoke about him personally and it was sad for him but Sadie was at peace...

Sadie Harris is going they a divorce from an extremely manipulative and vindictive ex. He also happens to be a police officer. Sadie is afraid of her ex and tries not to rock the boat for fear of how he will retaliate. She needs to find a job paying more then her current job but her ex has been sabotaging her efforts. She ends up working for Dawson, a man who has spent a year in jail. He was just acquitted of murdering his adoptive parents. Most of the town, including the police and her ex, believe he got away with murder.

I loved this story. I loved watching the relationship between Dawson and Sadie develop. This is the second book in a series but it could be read on its own. This book has suspense and romance and will hold your interest all the way thru the book. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Brenda Novak is one of my favorite writers. Her work is amazing. Each book has a unique story that grabs my heart. This latest novel, No One But You, is part of a new series. Inside, readers will find that it houses many themes. Ranging from marital problems to domestic violence. Plus, a character has been arrested for a crime he didn't commit. As readers dig further they'll find demons everywhere. A town so ready to torture an innocent man, another man who is violent to his wife, and a mother trying to survive...

No One But You pulls at the heart. Sent me on an epic emotional journey. One that I won't ever forget. The charcaters were believable. As for the plot, it was a bit slow in the begging then sped up as the action took over. Dangerous, intriguing, and a bit sad. Brenda Novak creates another opportunity for readers to explore real world issues in a fictional setting. Brilliant and well-told. I recommend this new novel to all.

I received this copy from Net Galley. This, is my honest review.
