All Your Perfects

So beautifully written. CH is an amazing writer but this book touches your soul. I wanted to hug Graham and Quinn and tell them that they are each other’s miracles. Some stories touch you to the core, this was one for me.

The content and storyline are heartbreaking and poignany and Colleen Hoover covers many layers. Another well written book that lacked the typical twists and turns I come to expect with one of her books. I simply wanted to more, but with a topic this important simplicity is classy.

Colleen Hoover is genius. The way her books hit you right in the feels and the emotional roller coster she takes you on is indescribable. I have been a huge fan since she released Slammed and will continue to be a fan for as long as she writes. She is the only author that I will pre-order a book from that has no title, no synopsis or anything because I know it is going to be amazing!

I have read and loved everyone of Colleen’s books and this one is no exception. She has such a way with words and bringing her characters to life. Colleen takes real life situations that tear at our heartstrings. You vacillate from crying sad to happy to heartwarming tears. Graham and Quinn had such a love story, you couldn’t help but root for them.

Colleen Hoover is my absolute favorite author of all time. I have loved ever single one of her books. Her creativity and way of addressing real life issues/ struggles wrapped in a lovely romance is raw talent that keeps me coming back for more! Keep up the great work!!

So freaking awesome! I fell in live with Graham and Quinn. I laughed and cried and cried some more. I swear my heart was in my stomach the majority of the book. The hurt Quinn felt and how much Graham loved her just made my heart melt. Bravo Colleen on another wonderful book!!

This wasn’t my favorite Colleen Hoover book. I liked the chapters that took place in the past and I liked the ending. But the chapters that happened in current times were so depressing that I found them difficult to read. Maybe that’s a good thing as it bought out a strong emotions in me.

As always, Colleen but her heart into this one, forcing me to think about my own marriage and Category 5s. Though every person’s struggle is different, the actions and reactions are very relatable to this book. Loved the book and loved the ending. Another great job Mrs. Hoover! Xoxo

Though I haven’t personally experienced the topics touched here, I completely felt all the emotions.
This book was so beautifully written that I was an emotional wreck. I cried, I laughed, my heart broke, & I loved. I loved everything about this book, it’s definitely a must read!

All of Colleen Hoover's books are amazing because they are real. The characters are relatable, sincere, and genuine. This book, like most her books, are stories young people can relate to. She makes the characters feel as if they are you or someone close to you. Her books are unlike anything else I've read, as an avid reader.

Okay, I love Colleen Hoover, but this book? Not so much. I struggled to finish it. I really just could not identify with the characters. She was whiny, and he was too indulgent. And the box. Really? Not believable. Having said that, the "dating" scenes were fabulous.

I was immersed in this story from beginning to end. Everything about it was perfect. The emotional toll of infertility and what it can lead to in a marriage. Gut wrenching and redemption. I absolutely loved this book!

Colleen Hoover has a gift for telling a story. The emotion and authenticity of this book are so well captured and delivered with such impact that it leaves the reader feeling they are experiencing the same issues.

CoHo does it again!!! Power read through this in a few hours because I could not put this book down! This book changed a lot of my prespectives and hurt and healed my heart at the same time. Love love loved it!!

As always, I have a book hangover from Colleen Hoover’s latest. While I was prepared to not enjoy this book based on the premise, I would have missed out had I not read it. All Your Perfects has all the feels.

Again Colleen Hoover has published an amazing novel. This one is gut wrenching, it made me cry, smile, laugh, and cringe. So many emotions flying around, but I expect it from her! Thank you for this one!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Everything Colleen Hoover writes is the best!! She really knows how to reach inside your soul and basically rip your heart out only to put it back together again better than it was before.

Omg I love this author!! There are only two authors that I don’t put in my TBR pile and she is one of them. This book was fantastic, sad funny ,sweet, heartbreaking. You’d be a fool not to read it.

This is a review that I needed to write as soon as I finished the book. Normally I like to sleep on it, let my thoughts and opinions roll around my head to come up with something interesting and relevant to say. However, no matter how much thinking I do, nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever come close to representing what I just read. Nothing I could say could do this book justice, it was just one of those books that touched me on such a deep, emotional level, that I cried and I mean I CRIED. I have not cried this much over a book EVER and that is saying something. But this book, THIS BOOK, just drained me of EVERY. SINGLE. EMOTION. The message was something I could relate to, but my ending was magical, and while this couple had their own different magical ending, the road to get there just grabbed at my heart and soul and never let go, it still hasn’t.

“When you meet someone who is good for you, they won’t fill you with insecurities by focusing on your flaws. They’ll fill you with inspiration, because they’ll focus on all the best parts of you.”

Colleen hoover delivers an unforgettable read and I mean UNFORGETTABLE. This will be one of those rare books that I put on my ALL-TIME list, a book that I will re-read time and time again. From the minute I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down, captivating, hypnotic, poignant, intense, brutally honest, raw, emotional, heart wrenching and yet one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read. Beautiful, how so? Because this book is about true love. A love so intense, so finite and that soul mate connection we all want to find. A love that can stand the test of a category 6 and while their belief may get muddied, may be stretched to breaking point, maybe to the point of no return, that intrinsic love for one and other is what ultimately reigns supreme. A love so deeply embedded for one and other that no matter the crisis, no matter the crappy hand that you’ve been dealt, that LOVE is a permanent foundation, no wrecking ball has the power to destroy it and while it gives a good attempt at it, it doesn’t succeed.

“Our marriage hasn’t been perfect. No marriage is perfect. There were times when she gave up on us. There were even more times when I gave up on us. The secret to our longevity is that we never gave up at the same time.”

Graham and Quinn’s beginning is unconventional and yet while when they first meet may not have been their day, when their paths do cross again fate has definitely worked its magic. I adored Graham in this book, his personality shone through the pages, like this bright beacon of happy, hope and everything good in the world. His love for Quinn was ever present, he loves fiercely, he wore his heart on his sleeve and it just radiated off every single page, and yet the more the story progressed the more that light dimmed, but most importantly, it never went out. Graham wasn’t perfect, maybe for ninety-nine percent of the time he was, but when you are losing the one thing you love the most, desperate times call for desperate measures. He got a ten for the thought behind it, but a zero in execution.

“I love you more in this moment than any moment that has come before it.”

Quinn was in self-destruct mode in this book and it is one place that I could totally relate to. But this is where Colleen Hoover excelled, her portrayal of a woman in this position was honest, it was gritty, it was raw, it was warts and all. The gradual breakdown of Quinn and Graham’s marriage was a reaction to circumstance. A couple whose relationship was built on honesty and talking to one and other to one where they never talked at all. Those bottling up of emotions, thoughts and feelings that just multiply and multiply in your mind, until something relatively little, becomes a huge, huge problem. Where a couple that know what the other is thinking on a normal day, lose that ability and jump to all the wrong conclusions, they read the signs all wrong and the more they think, the more the problems manifest, the more they grow until the love is slowly pushed to the bottom and the problems just cascade over the top.

“He’s probably somewhere with my wife. It’s been a while since I’ve seen her.”

Colleen Hoover is one master story-teller, the myriad of emotions she effortlessly puts you through while capturing a test in life that many couples face was nothing short of amazing. A test that many couples battle and one you will never truly understand until you find yourself in the same situation. But Colleen Hoover goes out of her way to make you live it and she certainly succeeds. For a marriage to survive it is true what this author says, “if you only shine light on your flaws, all your perfects will dim,” and it is those perfects that you need to concentrate on. Remember the best times, the hard times are there to test us, speed bumps on the road trip of your life, but where you end up is the most important, don’t let those speed bumps derail you. Be happy, everyone deserves to be happy, and while sometimes you have to change your perception of happy, make a new one. Life is what you make it. Focus on all your perfects. What an unforgettable book!

Colleen Hoover uses that fortune to control this story of two people who love each other deeply, but only one of them can see the perfects they share. The other one is far too focused on their flaws.

Prepare yourself, dear readers. Colleen Hoover breaks your heart in this book. She takes conceptions you have about a struggle not at all uncommon. She puts you in the heart and mind of someone who faces disappointment and crushing loss, and she shows you how the repetition of those losses tears apart a person's dreams, how it can destroy your ability to remember that your perfects, much less believe you have any at all. That devastation--the debilitating feelings of unworthiness and being defective--can wreck a marriage if you let it.

The best part of this book is how much Colleen Hoover makes you care about Graham and Quinn. They have their flaws, but their perfects outshine those flaws, even their smallest perfects up against their biggest flaws. Graham's heart is almost too big for this book. He loves intensely and deeply, and he's the kind of guy who believes in soul mates. Quinn, too, feels deeply, but she feels in different ways than Graham does. That's one of the reasons why they work so well as a couple. And it's one of the reasons why, when they stop working, you feel it as painfully as they do.

Colleen Hoover is one of those authors whose books always affect me. This one resonated so deeply with me that I had to sit and think about it for a long while before I could write a review. All Your Perfects is just exquisite.

Awesome! I can honestly say that this might be my favorite Colleen Hoover book. Many of Colleen's books I actually can't relate to personally, but because she is such an amazing writer I don't need to personally relate to fall in love with the book. This book is actually the first book I can personally relate to and, my God...it was heart wrenchingly beautiful.

OBSESSED. I’ve always had a soft spot for Colleen Hoover books and this one did not disappoint. I couldn’t put it down. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster with some very intense crying and laughing. Amazing story about trials and tribulations through a marriage that has so much love it bursts from the pages. I cannot day enough good things about this book. READ IT ALREADY!!

Colleen is my favorite author ever and AYP does not disappoint. It is absolutely amazing!! The tears, the laughter, it’s all there!! Now I just finished reading it and I’m crying because I’m finished. Thank you Colleen Hoover for another great book!!

My new favorite Colleen Hoover book (do yourself a favor read them all if this is your first). Graham is a perfect character. I felt so connect to this books from the beginning. Couldn’t put it down.
